Today's lunchtime was at the Nankai Electric Railway Tennoji Station on the way. I wanted to finish quickly, so I chose between curry and udon, and decided on curry. So, I had lunch at "Indo no Rou Tennoji Branch." The lunchtime menu caught my eye with its special offer. Considering the calories, I gave up on the handmade cutlet and chose the minced cutlet. Normally priced at 770 yen, it was discounted to 690 yen. And if you choose a small portion, you get an additional 110 yen off, making it 580 yen. It's a great system for those watching their diet and wallet. With less rice, the minced cutlet stands out more. The minced cutlet was easy to eat and not too hard. It's no surprise since it's a branch of "Fuji Food System," known for Western cuisine. You can adjust the spiciness with the "extra spicy spice" on the table. On January 25, 2022 (Tuesday), I returned to Tennoji Station in Nishinari-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line after visiting a place. I was planning to transfer to a train from Tennoji Station on the Nankai Electric Railway Nankai Main Line to my nearest station near my home. However, I unexpectedly found a curry restaurant called "Indo no Ru Tennoji Store" next to the ticket gate at Tennoji Station on the Nankai Electric Railway, and they had a great value "lunch menu". It was already past 11:00 am, but I decided to have lunch there and entered the restaurant. I sat at a vacant counter seat, ordered a menu item, drank the cold water served, and read manga books that were freely available. About 5 minutes after ordering, the "Minced Cutlet Curry (regular price 770 yen, discounted to 690 yen for the lunch menu)" that I ordered was served. It was a plate with normal portion of rice topped with thick curry sauce and minced cutlet cut into three pieces. I then tried the Minced Cutlet Curry, which had a slightly spicy curry sauce on it. It was delicious on its own, but when I added the "radish pickles", "Fukujin pickles", and "extra spicy spices" available on the counter, the curry became spicier. The freshly fried crispy minced cutlet went well with the spiciness, making it a very delicious dish.

There were several shops outside the ticket gate at the station in August 2021, but I was in the mood for curry so I entered this one. It was crowded at lunchtime when time was limited, but it was quiet at night. On October 14, I went to work on a public holiday and stopped by "Indo no Ru Tenkachaya-ten" located on the 2nd floor of Tenkachaya Station, across from the Nankai Line ticket gate. This curry shop is operated by "Fuji Food System," which also runs "Maido Ookini Shokudou" and "Tsurumaru Udon." This is my second review of this shop, but I must have visited over 200 times before. I usually have the "Special Curry" for 500 yen (excluding tax) or the "Rosukatsu Lunch" for 680 yen. The taste is average, but it's cheap and quick, making it a convenient place to grab a bite before heading to work. This time, I ordered the "Kaki Fry Curry" for 880 yen (tax included). I love curry and I love oysters, so I chose the "Kaki Fry Curry" as it's the season for farmed oysters. The kaki fry was ready in just 5 minutes, served with Fukujinzuke and pickled radish on the side, and Worcestershire sauce generously drizzled over the oysters and curry. On a large flat plate, there was 200g of regular portion rice, followed by a loose beef stew curry. Unfortunately, I couldn't really taste the meat as usual. There were 4 small kaki fry on top of the rice. Although the oysters were still small as the shipping had just started, the crispy coating was crunchy and the inside was milky and flavorful. It was delicious when mixed with the curry and Worcestershire sauce. I wanted to have a large portion, but I had plans to have beer and okonomiyaki at Nihonbashi Station on my way home for dinner, so I managed to resist and finished it all before heading to work. I'm looking forward to making dishes like kaki fry, oyster hot pot, fresh oysters, and oyster jeon (Korean pancake) at home this season. Bon appétit!

This place is also secretly a chain store of the Fujio Food Group. The pork cutlet curry is a great deal at ¥680 during lunchtime. The pork is fried to a crisp at about 5mm thick. The shop is located right after exiting the Nankai train ticket gate on the second floor. I had the hand-made pork cutlet curry for lunch, which is normally priced at 800 yen, but with the lunchtime discount, it was 680 yen. When asked about the rice portion, I requested a smaller amount, and the final bill came out to be even cheaper at 580 yen, excluding tax (626 yen total). The taste was decently good. I used Nankai Dentetsu Tenkachaya Station for lunch. I thought it was just a normal curry restaurant, but the taste was quite average. In terms of cost performance, I didn't feel it was very good for Osaka. I ordered the katsu curry, but the katsu seemed a little over-fried.
