Gourmet sushi, foie gras sushi, and other extravagant sushi creations, yet they still maintain the basics of sushi and blend them beautifully. The personality of the chef and the charm of his wife naturally fit in. It was a delicious and enjoyable restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

Foie gras sushi at the renowned sushi restaurant "Sushi Yoshi," which has been in business for 30 years and is featured in various media. It is said to be the originator of foie gras sushi, known as a gourmet sushi. This time, I indulged in my favorite (lol) premium sushi roll. The roll was huge with a generous amount of filling! The large tamagoyaki was moist and delicious, accompanied by shrimp. What surprised me was that the tamagoyaki was filled with foie gras!

I've been wanting to eat sushi here for a long time, so I visited this place as my first stop this time. I thought it would be quiet due to the shortened business hours, but there seem to be 2 reservations already. I ordered the 7000 yen course this time. It includes appetizers, assorted sashimi, a dish, grilled dish, sushi, and red miso soup. The restaurant was almost full this time, and the chef seemed to be working alone, so it took some time for the dishes to come out. But as expected, everything was delicious and skillfully prepared. I have another place to go to today, so I had to eat quickly, but if I come to Tsuruhashi again, I would like to start from here. The sushi toppings were different from last time, so it seems to change depending on the season. This time, I particularly liked the eggplant, conger eel, and the main foie gras.

This is a sushi restaurant near Tsuruhashi Station. I visited with my father and brother. My father had been here 25 years ago and was impressed by the delicious food, so we came with high expectations. The restaurant has a counter and three tables for four people each. The atmosphere is nice. We ordered the most expensive course (7000 yen per person). I don't remember all the details, but I will try to recall.
First, we had appetizers. They were visually appealing and varied. Each dish had a good portion size, and by the time the sushi arrived, we were already full. We had cod milt with ponzu sauce, grilled fish, clear soup, and various sushi. Everything was delicious with no disappointments. The grilled sea bream was especially amazing! It was juicy, flavorful, and a taste I had never experienced before. Although it may be a bit pricey, considering the taste and quality, I believe this is a great restaurant. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I found a restaurant while walking in Tsuruhashi after having some light yakiniku. I felt like having some fish after eating meat, so I decided to go in. The staff recommended a course menu, but they were also okay with me ordering a la carte. I asked for about five recommended sushi pieces, and they kindly informed me that the course would be a better deal. So, I ordered the cheapest course for 3500 yen. The appetizers were delicious and got me excited for what was to come. Since I love shirako, I was thrilled to see it on the menu. The homemade pickled ginger was also tasty and went well with the sushi. They served 10 pieces of creative sushi, each one was delicious and beautifully presented. I couldn't decide which one was the best because they were all so good. The 3500 yen course even included foie gras sushi, making it a great value. I definitely want to come back to this place again. Both my companion and I agreed that this was the best sushi we've had recently.

Starting with an appetizer, the creative sushi course is a satisfying option. You can enjoy unique sushi made with ingredients like foie gras that you wouldn't find elsewhere. While it may not offer the same freshness as traditional sushi made with fresh fish, it's okay to indulge in this type of sushi once in a while. The portions are normal-sized and not too many, but they will leave you feeling full.

I went shopping and had lunch with my cousin's older sister in Tsuruhashi. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. We had a late lunch and enjoyed a gourmet sushi set of 10 pieces. Everything was delicious! Especially the foie gras sushi was very tasty. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was relaxing, and I had a great time catching up with my cousin whom I hadn't seen in a while. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch. Since the nearby Sushigin was full and didn't seem to have any available seats, I decided to try this place for the first time. The taste was honestly just average, but good. I'm not one to write detailed reviews, but the preparation seemed meticulous and the place was clean, which left a good impression. However, it was slightly expensive. The sushi wasn't necessarily expensive in terms of the ingredients, but it gave off that impression.

The foie gras sushi here is amazing! It's a great deal because you get to enjoy otoro and foie gras. The red miso soup with fish bones (this day it was sea bream) adds a nice touch. I was in Tsuruhashi for errands and decided to explore Koreatown. I stumbled upon this gourmet sushi place. Their specialty is gourmet sushi with unique toppings like foie gras. The foie gras sushi is a perfect match! It's delicious! The eggplant and sea urchin dish was something new for me, but the combination was great. The other sushi toppings, like flounder, were also delicious. The balance between the rice and toppings was good, although the rice was a bit firm. I would love to try their course menu next time.

It seems like the restaurant appeared on TV, the creative sushi at Tsuruhashi doesn't really look like sushi, it's more like a different type of food. Tsuruhashi is a competitive area for sushi restaurants because the market is nearby! So, surviving there means they must have loyal fans. I would like to visit again in the future.

I had some business in Osaka and visited after 20 years! The gourmet sushi, with a taste unchanged from 20 years ago, was truly delicious. Despite the challenging world situation affecting ingredient sourcing, I am grateful to be able to enjoy delicious sushi in peace. Everything was delicious, but my favorite is the green onion served at the end... From the initial tuna and sea bream to the final green onion and foie gras, everything was delicious until the end. Even the pickled ginger was tasty. Take care of your health and keep making sushi! I will definitely come back again.

Ordered the course menu. The dishes were impressive from the start! The ingredients were fresh and generous in size! They were so delicious that it felt like a waste to finish them so quickly.

We visited "Sushi Yoshi" with three friends, located about a 3-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station on the Osaka Loop Line, passing through the Tsuruhashi shopping street. The shopping street is packed with a variety of shops selling fresh fish, kimchi, miscellaneous goods, and clothing, making it a fun place to walk through. Upon arriving at "Sushi Yoshi," we were smoothly seated as we had made a reservation. It is recommended to make a reservation during lunchtime as it tends to get crowded. Although it was not lunchtime, the table seats were already full, so we were guided to the counter. We ordered the famous "Gourmet Nigiri Course," which includes 10 pieces with red miso soup and appetizers. The pickled ginger is all-you-can-eat. The sushi is served with seasoned toppings, and the appetizer plate adds to the excitement of the sushi experience. Every piece of sushi was surprisingly delicious, especially the foie gras and green onion set. With the appetizers and red miso soup included, the 10 pieces were quite filling. It was a very satisfying lunch that left us feeling happy. The price is reasonable at 3200 yen per person. It is said to be a long-established restaurant that popularized foie gras sushi. It was delicious, and we will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Located about a 5-minute walk east from Tsuruhashi Station is "Sushi Yoshi." It was Saturday afternoon at 12 o'clock when I visited with 5 friends. One of my friends had made a reservation a few weeks ago. There was one group of customers before us and one after us. The restaurant has 3 counter seats and 3 tables. It seems that my friend also ordered a course when making the reservation. We ordered the Gourmet Nigiri Course for 3200 yen, which included 5 appetizers, 10 pieces of gourmet nigiri, and red miso soup for 5 people. Each of us also ordered drinks like beer and cold sake. The nigiri was already seasoned and ready to eat. The combination of foie gras nigiri and green onions was delicious. The restaurant is said to have started serving "Foie Gras Sushi" during the bubble era of the past. However, the novelty seems to have worn off now, so there wasn't much excitement or surprise. The walls were filled with autographed boards, perhaps because the restaurant has been featured in the media. The female staff members were friendly and attentive. The owner was also very pleasant. The bill was split individually, and I paid around 3600 yen for a glass of beer. It was a delightful lunchtime. Thank you for the meal.

I had gourmet sushi and it was all delicious, but my favorite was the foie gras nigiri! At first, I was surprised to see foie gras on sushi rice, but it turned out to be an amazing combination! The foie gras melts in your mouth and the soy-based sauce complements it perfectly. The balance of the sushi here is great - the balance between the topping and rice, the size, the appearance, the presentation, and the texture. For example, the foie gras nigiri is served with chopped green onions, creating a perfect balance of rich and refreshing flavors. The scallop nigiri comes with thinly sliced pickled vegetables for a different texture. The chef's sense is really impressive. The chef also has a great sense of humor, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everything here is delicious, and it's a rare place where you can't help but smile and feel happy.
