I went to a dinner buffet. It was a weekend night so I had high expectations but felt a bit disappointed. There were many hotel guests, giving it a solo diner vibe. The drinks were good, with coffee, Calpis, two types of tea, orange juice, etc. There was an option for all-you-can-drink alcohol for an additional 990 yen for 90 minutes, which made me worry about the cost-effectiveness. The food included rice, curry, chirashi sushi, chicken nuggets, potatoes, yakisoba, mini omelets, fried fish, simmered fish, white sesame tofu, mapo tofu, sesame salad, shrimp chili, tomato stewed chicken, roll cake, sweet potato, pineapple, banana, coffee jelly, miso soup, special salad, shredded cabbage, fukujinzuke, kimchi, edamame. The lineup was a bit strange, starting with desserts. There was no standout dish that made me want to come back. The price was reasonable at 950 yen per adult including drinks, but with so many other dining options nearby, it felt a bit wasteful. Overall, the food was average and I found myself getting a bit bored halfway through. The buffet didn't have the same level of extravagance as shown in the photos. Perhaps I just had bad luck today. The taste was decent, but I might get tired of it quickly.
