The three middle-aged men are not ready to go home yet... = Let's go to Zen Kuroge Wagyu Yakiniku (Tennoji) = Located along Abeno-Suji (Prefectural Route 30) opposite Q's Mall, this restaurant is a favorite stop when in the area. The entrance is narrow, with stairs leading to the 2nd and 3rd floors where the dining area is located. The interior is stylish, with horigotatsu-style private tatami rooms on the 2nd floor and private table seating/banquet hall on the 3rd floor (about 85 seats in total). The pride of this restaurant is using only A4 rank or higher black-haired Wagyu beef. My personal rating is quite high. High-end cuts like sirloin and kalbi are delicious, but the recommendation is the offal (horumon) dishes. The order from the three men includes... For drinks, they ordered "Freshly squeezed Lemon Sour... 504 yen" and "Draft Beer Premium Malt... 525 yen" and raised their glasses once again. The grilled items included "Tsurami...," "Harami... 893 yen," "Upper Mino... 840 yen," and others like "Kimchi Assortment... 630 yen." Harami was lightly grilled to retain the meat juices, while Upper Mino had a crispy texture that went well with any sauce. The fatty Teppanyaki was juicy and delicious with a strong salt flavor. The Kimchi Assortment was basic but above average in taste. The highlight was Tsurami, recommended for the day, with a unique texture that becomes more flavorful as you chew, especially delicious when slightly overcooked. Overall, even with a lot of eating and drinking, this restaurant will satisfy you from start to finish. The head chef used to work in the meat industry and has a strong presence but is friendly and will gladly explain about the meat. = Insider tip = (Nighttime) just before closing... try asking the chef for a special recommendation, you might discover a hidden menu item. = Set menus are also available = Enjoy all-you-can-eat courses, party courses, and comparison courses like the "Eat and Compare Course!" which I think is a great option! Private room yakiniku restaurant. The partitions between the rooms are thin, so you can hear everything from the neighboring customers. The fact that there are cameras in each room may provide a sense of security for women. The interior is old and dirty, but the restroom is clean. This is one of the few restaurants where smoking is allowed, which is convenient for me as I don't want to inconvenience my friends who smoke. The meat is delicious, but the service is terrible. The first waiter who came to take our order had a very rough and impolite demeanor. None of the staff members had a good attitude. Overall, it seems like a place where the meat is good, but the only highlight is the private rooms.

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. The entrance is sandwiched between Matsuya and Sukiya, along Prefectural Route 30 (also known as Route 13), across from Abeno Q's Mall. I found this restaurant while walking and wondering what to eat. I went up the stairs to the second floor, where the lighting was a bit dim for taking photos. I chose the Upper Salted Tongue Lunch. I thought it would only be tongue, but it also came with roasted pork belly. The meat was beautiful and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Pork shabu-shabu for only 960 yen, including tax! Pork, vegetables, and tofu - quite a generous portion! Cabbage, bean sprouts, kikuna, tofu, and tempura... bean sprouts go well with it! This is Abeno Hashi. It is located along Abeno-suji, but it is on the second floor and the entrance is small, so it is not very noticeable. It was a bit intimidating to enter because you can't see inside at all, but since the prices are not high, I decided to go for it! Inside, it is set up like private rooms and the atmosphere is good! Perhaps due to the impact of COVID-19, it was very quiet. The lunch prices are reasonable and you can enjoy decent quality meat. The sauce and flavors are also pretty good! I had some errands to run in Tennoji and also wanted to use the hotpepper go to Eat points, so I made a reservation for lunch here. It had been a long time since I dined out, but having a private room made it easy to go and feel safe in terms of infection prevention. The lunch menu included not only yakiniku but also sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. We chose the premium yakiniku lunch with black wagyu beef. It came with 2-3 slices each of premium loin, premium belly, and premium skirt, along with salad, soup, kimchi, and rice. The beef was just right in terms of fat for the loin, and the belly and skirt had a delicious lean meat flavor, all of which were very tasty! I was satisfied with both the taste and portion, and had a great time enjoying lunch. I was torn between the premium salted tongue lunch, so it would be great if there was a lunch option with fewer slices of meat but including premium salted tongue even if it costs more.

I visited the black-haired wagyu beef restaurant "Zen" a short walk from Tennoji. I had the lunch set, which included salad, wakame soup, and kimchi. I chose a date course, but the food and meat were brought out all at once and it was quite busy. The meat had a lot of fat on it, so I wondered if it was really good quality meat. I ordered a course with all-you-can-drink for 4,000 yen. The drinks started flowing and the appetizers, meat, and grilled vegetables were all good. However, when rice and soup were served, I asked for them to be served later but my request was not accommodated, which was disappointing. When I finally ate the rice at the end, it was cold along with the soup. Apart from that, the meat was delicious and the portion size was good. The stairs leading to the third floor were slippery, possibly due to oil. I worry it could cause an accident!

The meat was delicious and the service was not bad. It was great to be able to use a spacious private room for two people. Unfortunately, we couldn't drink alcohol during the state of emergency, but there were many types of drinks available and we didn't find any particular faults. I was unsure about choosing the all-you-can-eat option, but the lunch menu was also extensive, so I reserved a table only and went there. I recommend the beef tendon with ponzu sauce and the oxtail soup. It's a great value for the price. I like the cold noodles here. The Korean cold noodles with thin, chewy noodles are delicious. The portion of the cold noodles dish is quite large, so I wish they offered a smaller size. The meat and kimchi are also delicious. The staff are quick to respond, but not very friendly.

I personally love private room restaurants, so this is a place I really like. I always go with a group of 3 or 4 friends who get along well. I would recommend this place for small groups. The menu used to only have all-you-can-eat lean meat, but now they have added more courses. The prices have gone up, but the content is more satisfying, so I am happy about that.
