When I came to Higashiyodogawa Ward, I had to try the takoyaki at Takoyaki Takoba Osumi Store. Just as rumored, it was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, delicious enough to make my mouth feel a bit burnt. The takoyaki with fresh ginger at the shop below the cliff is delicious. The outside is crispy, while the inside is soft. The plain flavor is also tasty even when cold. The shop is run by one person, so there may be a wait during busy times, but the deliciousness makes it worth it.

I happened to come across this place while listening to the radio and was intrigued. There were a few customers already there, so it must be popular. I ordered the 8-piece salt-flavored takoyaki (including tax for 560 yen) with nori and mayonnaise. Due to the current situation, they only offer takeout and you can't eat inside the store. After finishing eating, I realized there were actually 9 pieces in the box! Yay! I didn't even notice while eating (lol). Now, onto the taste test! The takoyaki was big, with a soft and slightly gooey texture on the outside. The salt flavor was delicious, and the octopus inside was also big. It's been a while since I've had takoyaki this tasty. If I have the chance, I'd love to eat it again.

When it comes to Osaka, takoyaki is a must-try. The shop I was recommended had surprisingly large pieces of octopus in their takoyaki. It was delicious, but I felt like it would be even tastier with soy sauce. I wished I had tried it with soy sauce as well. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, there seems to be customers coming from all over the world, of course, from all over Japan as well. The owner, who loves pro wrestling and rock music, is working hard. The restaurant is filled with posters and signed shikishi from pro wrestling. The regular takoyaki is delicious. It seems that they use octopus in it. The ingredients have the owner's carefully selected beliefs and convictions. The takoyaki with Iwakura pickled ginger is refreshing, with a crunchy texture of ginger, and very delicious. Another place to mention is Asuka in the basement of Keihan Department Store in Kyobashi and Moriguchi City, which also has ginger (sushi ginger). I think the combination of pickled ginger and takoyaki is excellent. The flat takoyaki is pressed with cheese and other ingredients inside. The taste of takoyaki is great, and there are many fans of the owner's personality. There are two tables for dining in, and of course, takeout is also available. Thank you for the meal.

The great thing about the chef is that he also makes special octopus balls for children with food allergies. Of course, reservations and consultations are required. I saw on social media that the rice flour octopus balls looked very delicious. Many fans are attracted to the chef's personality. The octopus balls with Iwakata ginger are crispy and refreshing. The grated ponzu octopus balls, available only in summer, seem like you could eat as many as you want. The pressed octopus balls with mentaiko have a perfect salty taste. It's said that even when they cool down, the octopus balls here are still delicious. Of course, eating the hot ones in the store is exceptional. There is a water cooler in the store. There are two tables for eating in. Takeout is also available. Thank you for the meal.

I was able to go to Takoba, which was buzzing on Twitter around the end of last year. The restaurant is quite small, but you can eat in. You can also bring your own drinks from the vending machine outside. The takoyaki was fluffy and delicious, and the takoba-yaki had a huge portion and was very cost-effective and tasty. My friend doesn't like cheese, so when she heard that the order had cheese in it, she ordered an additional one without cheese, and they even gave the first one as a service. What a nice person! Cheese-filled ones are for takeout. It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The takoyaki here is really the best! ❤️ My wife and I ordered 40 pieces for takeout and dine-in! We visited after 6pm. While enjoying canned beer inside, we listened to the funny talk of the owner while waiting. We ordered 10 pieces of salted takoyaki and 10 pieces of sauce takoyaki for dine-in. The owner recommended sprinkling plenty of powdered cheese on the salted takoyaki, and it was really delicious! The sauce takoyaki came with a bonus omelette. Thank you! The omelette takoyaki, with a buttery flavor, was a perfect match with the takoyaki. The takoyaki here is slightly larger but you can eat it in one bite! For takeout, we got 10 pieces of salted takoyaki and the popular limited edition Mega Ginger takoyaki. The ginger from Iwakami is generously included in it! When we got home, we had it for dinner. We topped the salted takoyaki with plenty of green onions and Sichuan pepper. The Mega Ginger takoyaki had cheese in it too! It was a revolutionary takoyaki that I've never had before! My wife, who loves ginger, was thrilled! We also enjoyed it with wine. Although we were quite full, we saved some for the next morning. They taste delicious even when cold! Especially the salted takoyaki, it's irresistible! Thank you for the meal!

There is nothing lonelier than spending New Year's alone, especially for a middle-aged man (laughs). However, there is a joy in being able to spend time without worrying about anything. I wandered around in my old car and stumbled upon a place that looked delicious. It was a takoyaki shop called Takoba-san. The owner was cooking alone, using copper plates. It was beautiful. Just seeing that made the visit worthwhile. I ordered some takoyaki, which was fluffy and delicious. They also have table seating available if you want to eat in. I then ordered their specialty dish, Takoba-yaki. It was really delicious. You can tell the owner puts a lot of care into his work. I highly recommend checking it out. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the meal.

My wife and I enjoyed canned beer while eating in. We also ordered takeout, all with salt flavor. For the eat-in option, we tried the recommended cheese and butter toppings by the owner. Both were a perfect match for the salted takoyaki! The butter gave a sensation similar to buttered potatoes! A new taste experience! It went perfectly with the beer! We also had the takoyaki at night when we got home. Even when eaten cold, it was delicious! We are hooked on the takoyaki here! Thank you for the meal!

I discovered this restaurant on Instagram on a Wednesday in December 2017. It was my first visit with my friend and wife. Before going there, we stopped at another place to have a drink and some food. The restaurant is a bit far from the station, located right in front of Osaka Economics University. The owner welcomed us inside because it was cold outside. There is an eating area inside with heaters to keep warm, so we toasted with canned beer. We tried the recommended takoyaki, which was pressed with cabbage in an ikayaki machine, and another version with pressed green onions. The cabbage one was served with sauce and mayonnaise, while the green onion one was served with ponzu. They looked like okonomiyaki but had a different texture. The takoyaki was delicious, with cheese melted inside. We also tried the regular takoyaki with salt and sauce. The takoyaki here was quite large, equivalent to about two regular ones. The batter was fluffy and creamy, very tasty. Even though it was our second stop, we ate too much. The owner had some free time that day and shared various stories with us. The restaurant has been around for almost 15 years, with two locations. The owner is a fan of Star Wars and pro wrestling. It was a fun and enjoyable experience. Thank you for the meal.

It's fluffy and big. 8 for 400 yen. I chose the flavors of sauce and mayonnaise. There are various other flavors to choose from, so it's a bit hard to decide haha. "Omlet Takoyaki" is takoyaki wrapped in egg, cooked after ordering. "Takobayaki" is also cooked after ordering. The cabbage version is like a cabbage pancake with melty cheese and takoyaki inside. The seating is small but you can eat inside the restaurant. They also have mochi-filled ones.

Osaka's popular pro wrestler and pro wrestling fan, Takoba-san, is always a hot topic in the community. I have been following him for a while, but his shop is quite far from the city center and requires a transfer, so I finally had the chance to visit during this leisurely trip with a relaxed schedule. They are known for using Iwashita ginger in their takoyaki, as well as offering a unique dish called Takoba-yaki where cheese is pressed onto the takoyaki. They also operate a children's dining hall and are dedicated to social service. I tried the classic sauce mayo takoyaki and the limited-time menu item, konnyaku with fish roe. The sauce mayo takoyaki was soft and almost jelly-like inside, which I really liked. The flavor was rich with a strong dashi taste. The owner recommended the salt flavor, which I noticed after ordering the sauce mayo, but I can understand why. The sauce was rich and sweet, which I love. The limited-time konnyaku dish was served without sauce, and it had a slightly spicy and savory taste. The texture of the konnyaku with fish roe was enjoyable, and the flavor was well-balanced. I initially felt a bit disappointed that there was no sauce, but after trying it, I realized it didn't need any. The flavor was already packed in. Both dishes were delicious in their own way. Additionally, Takoba will start selling the flour they use, which may be a lifesaver for those who can't easily visit the shop due to the distance.

★Lunch Trip in Between an Old Man's Work (Osaka, Kamishinjo)!
I visited this place for a certain event during my work break. Ordered: "Takoyaki (8 pieces)" for 610 yen (tax included)...
Rating: 3.0
I chose "soy sauce" for the seasoning! The octopus pieces were of decent size. The overall texture was soft and fluffy, with plenty of tempura crumbs. Perhaps due to the mayonnaise or soy sauce, it had a slightly milky taste, which was surprisingly good.
Overall Impression: The takoyaki was really delicious, but the price is a factor. In terms of total cost performance, it's hard to deny a rating of 3.0.
Thank you for always liking, saving the restaurant, and following. I appreciate your comments, questions, and continued support.
