Already visited 5 times. When I first visited, I knew there was a Korean restaurant near my home, but I didn't have a chance to go. My wife and I decided to just give it a try. It's run by a veteran couple, and they warmly welcomed us. The interior was clean and minimalistic. We started with three appetizers and a toast with draft beer. When we looked at the menu, we were surprised! Despite being a Korean restaurant, they also had Western dishes like hamburgers and spaghetti. It was fun! Just go and try it out.

This is my usual lunch. On a humid day, I crave cold dishes. So, I went to a stylish restaurant called "Wa-Kan Creative Cuisine Daika" to enjoy a Korean cold noodle lunch. From May, the lunch prices have been revised. The lunch menu consists of fixed regular items, and after Golden Week in May, the prices were increased. Despite the circumstances, the lunch still offers good value. 【Lunch Menu】11:30-14:00 (Last order at 13:30) ■ Korean Cold Noodle Set Meal 1000 yen Korean cold noodles, mini bibimbap, kimchi ■ Mini Korean Cold Noodle Set Meal 900 yen Mini Korean cold noodles (half portion), mini bibimbap, kimchi ■ Korean Cold Noodles Only 800 yen ■ Mini Korean Cold Noodles Only 600 yen ■ BBQ Set Meal 900 yen BBQ, kimchi, namul, Korean seaweed, rice, soup ■ Stone Pot Bibimbap Set Meal 900 yen Stone pot bibimbap, kimchi, Korean seaweed, soup ■ Pork Kimchi Set Meal 700 yen Pork kimchi, namul, Korean seaweed, rice, soup ■ Bibimbap Set Meal 600 yen Bibimbap, kimchi, Korean seaweed, soup ■ Beef Tendon Soup Set Meal 600 yen Beef tendon soup, kimchi, namul, Korean seaweed, rice *Extra rice 50 yen, Rice refill 100 yen, Extra bibimbap 100 yen The Korean cold noodles are perfect for cooling down on a hot day. It's a popular dish with a refreshing taste that cools you from the inside out. The mini size has half the portion of noodles, but with the extra mini bibimbap, it's still satisfying. The Korean cold noodles are served in a stainless steel bowl with kimchi, char siu, apple, boiled egg on top. The noodles are chewy and smooth, not just hard and tasteless. The soup is light but flavorful, with a refreshing chill that cools you down. The mini bibimbap comes with fern, bean sprouts, spinach, radish, carrot, and chopped seaweed on top of rice. Mix it with kimchi to enhance the flavor and spiciness. In the summer, cold noodle dishes are a popular choice, and Korean cold noodles are a top pick for their refreshing and tangy taste. Adding vinegar makes it even more refreshing and perfect for cooling down on a hot day.

I had lunch at the Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant "Daika" near Shin-Fukae Station in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward. I tried the one-coin 500 yen Bibimbap set, which was simple with rice topped with namul and Korean seaweed, but delicious with a strong yangnyeomjang flavor. They also offer an 800 yen stone bibimbap. Check out more details here! ⇒http://osakadrinker.com/post-43168/

This is my usual lunch. There is a Korean restaurant called "Wakan Korean Creative Cuisine Daika" near Osaka Metro Shin-Fukae Station, about a 10-minute bike ride from my office. It is a stylish restaurant where you can easily enjoy Korean cuisine for lunch. On this hot day, I went there to cool off with a cold noodle dish with plenty of vinegar. In the lunch menu, there are fixed standard menus and no daily specials. In autumn and winter, there is jjigae, and in spring and summer, cold noodles are the main dishes on the lunch menu. [Lunch Menu] 11:30-14:00 (Last order at 13:30) - Korean Cold Noodle Set Meal 900 yen - Mini Korean Cold Noodle Set Meal 800 yen - Korean Cold Noodle (single item) 700 yen - Mini Korean Cold Noodle (single item) 600 yen - Grilled Meat Set Meal 800 yen - Stone Pot Bibimbap Set Meal 800 yen - Pork Kimchi Set Meal 600 yen - Bibimbap Set Meal 500 yen - Beef Tendon Soup Set Meal 500 yen You can also get extra rice for 50 yen or refill rice for 100 yen, and extra bibimbap for 100 yen. The portions of rice in the set meals are generous, and the side dishes like kimchi and namul make the rice go down smoothly. I chose the Mini Korean Cold Noodle Set Meal. The cold noodles are served in a stainless steel bowl with kimchi, char siu, apple, boiled egg on top. The noodles have a strong chewy texture, yet they are smooth and delicious, not just tough and bland. The soup is made from beef bones, light and flavorful, with a refreshing chill from the ice floating on top. The Mini Bibimbap is a mix of fern, bean sprouts, spinach, radish, carrot, and chopped seaweed on a bed of rice. It's a bit mild in flavor, so I like to add kimchi to enhance the taste. I also tried the Beef Tendon Soup Set Meal, which includes a soup with plenty of beaten eggs, a large portion of rice, kimchi, namul, and Korean seaweed. The soup is flavorful with onions, carrots, and tender beef tendons, making it a satisfying meal. Overall, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous, making it a great choice for a satisfying lunch.

This is my usual lunch spot, a Korean restaurant called "Wa-Kan Creative Korean Cuisine Daika" located near Osaka Metro Shin-Fukae Station, about a 10-minute bike ride from my office. It's a stylish restaurant where you can easily enjoy Korean cuisine for lunch. Lunch menu changes between autumn/winter and spring/summer, and there are no daily specials, just fixed lunch menu options. 【Lunch Menu】 11:30-14:30 - Tofu Kimchi Hot Pot Set Meal 800 yen - Kimchi Hot Pot Udon or Ramen Set Meal 800 yen - BBQ Set Meal 800 yen - Pork Kimchi Set Meal 600 yen - Stone Pot Bibimbap Set Meal 800 yen - Kimchi Hot Pot Tofu or Udon or Ramen (each pot individual item) 600 yen - Beef Galbi Soup Set Meal 500 yen - Bibimbap Set Meal 500 yen You can enjoy a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. Even the 500 yen set meals come with a generous portion of rice and side dishes, making it a good deal. - Beef Galbi Soup Set Meal: A hearty beef galbi soup with plenty of rice, kimchi, namul, and Korean seaweed. Despite being a 500 yen meal, it comes with a variety of side dishes, making it a satisfying meal. - Pork Kimchi Set Meal: This set includes pork kimchi with salad, namul, Korean seaweed, a large portion of rice, and wakame soup. The pork kimchi is cooked with a slightly sweet sauce, making it mild in spiciness but still delicious. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the restaurant was closed for an extended period last summer, so I couldn't enjoy their cold noodles with kimchi. I'm looking forward to trying their summer menu this year. Enjoy your meal!

This is my usual lunch. Due to the current situation, my business trips and outings have decreased, and I find myself spending more time in the office. As a result, my opportunities to enjoy lunch at various places have drastically reduced. So, I have started making a list of unvisited restaurants around my office and enjoy the thrill of trying out new places, guessing if they will be hits or misses. One such place that I had passed by numerous times but never entered is a restaurant called "Wa-Kan Souzai Ryouri Daika" near Kintetsu Fuse Station. I finally decided to step in as I noticed they offered lunch sets for a very reasonable price. The restaurant has a stylish exterior that doesn't look like a typical Korean restaurant. Inside, the decor is black and woody, creating a chic atmosphere with dim lighting. The menu offers a variety of Korean and Japanese fusion dishes, and during lunchtime, they have 8 set menu options available at affordable prices. I tried the one-coin lunch set of Bibimbap, which came with soup, kimchi, and Korean seaweed. The Bibimbap was served in a stylish white dish with a generous amount of vegetables and seaweed on top of the rice. The kimchi had a strong sour taste with a hint of spiciness, which paired well with the Bibimbap. The soup was a gentle Wakame soup with a hint of sesame oil, adding a nice aroma to the meal. Another dish I tried was the Kimchi Nabe Ramen set, which included kimchi hot pot ramen, rice, namul, and Korean seaweed. The ramen was cooked in a small pot with plenty of kimchi and pork belly, creating a flavorful and satisfying dish. The spiciness was not overpowering, and the combination of kimchi, pork belly, and soup was delicious. Overall, the restaurant had a unique and non-traditional atmosphere for a Korean restaurant, and the lunch sets were filling and enjoyable. I would recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

▼Location▼ Located along the Nai Kanjo Line, 80m from the Shin Fukae intersection towards the Fukae Bridge on the right side. ▼About the Restaurant▼ This is a popular restaurant that serves both Japanese and Korean cuisine for lunch and dinner. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly subdued, with a lot of black in both the exterior and interior. ▼Menu▼ During lunchtime, they offer dishes such as cold noodles, stone pot bibimbap, and grilled meat set meals. In the evening, they have sashimi, small dishes, samgyeopsal, jeon, cold noodles, and various Japanese and Korean dishes. ▼What I Ate▼ ▽Pork Kimchi Set Meal 600 yen▽ (Nov 2020) The main dish is pork kimchi served with rice, soup, namul, and Korean seaweed. The pork kimchi has a typical flavor of this type of restaurant, with a moderate spiciness and a generous amount of meat. The mild egg yolk on top adds a nice touch to the dish. The rice is plentiful and fluffy, the soup is simple, and the Korean seaweed leaves a good impression. ▼Impressions▼ (Nov 2020) Located just north of the Shin Fukae intersection along the Nai Kanjo Line, this restaurant serves Japanese and Korean cuisine and also offers lunch service. They have a variety of Japanese and Korean dishes, with a focus on lunch set meals for Korean cuisine. During lunchtime, the restaurant is bustling with employees from nearby companies like Kokuyo and Doggy Man. I tried the pork kimchi set meal this time, which was simple but delicious. The main pork kimchi dish was tasty, and the addition of the egg yolk was a nice touch. The side dishes and Korean seaweed that came with it at this price point made it a satisfying meal. I would like to try other set meals on a different occasion.

Ooka. A Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant near the Shin-Fukae intersection along Okaka. The restaurant has a bar-like appearance and a clean, calming atmosphere inside. I had the abalone porridge for lunch. There was more abalone than I expected, and it was delicious. This made me happy this year.

I had lunch at Oohana, a creative cuisine restaurant in Shin-Fukae. While the dinner menu is based on Korean and Japanese cuisine, the lunch menu seems to focus on Korean dishes. I tried the Abalone Porridge set meal and the Korean Cold Noodle set meal. The Abalone Porridge set meal felt more like just a bowl of Abalone Porridge rather than a complete set meal, but it was generous with plenty of abalone. The taste was good, and the creamy porridge was gentle on the body. For 800 yen, it was quite a deal, especially for those days when you need something gentle on the stomach. It came with sesame salt, seaweed tsukudani, and a bit of kimchi to add some variety. The Korean Cold Noodle set meal started with a mini Bibimbap, which was a nice touch for those who are really hungry. The Bibimbap was decent, and I added some spicy miso paste for extra flavor. Then came the cold noodles, which had a refreshing and clear taste. It was a standard Korean cold noodle dish that tasted best when slurping the soup, but the noodles alone might feel a bit bland. Overall, I really liked the Abalone Porridge. The location may not be the best, but it's a good restaurant in my opinion.

The noodles were well-chilled and the soup was light, refreshing, and subtly flavorful. The noodles had a nice chewy texture and paired well with the soup. The flavor of the kimchi infused into the soup added a nice touch. ▼Impressions▼ (June 2018) Located just north of the Shin-Fukae intersection along the Nai-Kanjo line, this restaurant offers a combination of Japanese and Korean cuisine, catering more towards drinkers but also serving lunch. Other dishes being enjoyed by other customers looked appetizing, so I look forward to trying more of their menu items in the future.

A group of friends gathered for a middle-aged men's meeting. The restaurant we went to on this day was Oohana, located just a short walk from Shinsin-koen Station. This place serves both Japanese and Korean cuisine. We entered the restaurant and sat at a table, starting with ordering drinks. The drink menu included highballs for 280 yen, glass wine for 200 yen, and a bottle of Chilean wine for 1300 yen, all reasonably priced. While waiting for one person who was running late due to work, the rest of us toasted with highballs. We ordered some appetizers to nibble on while waiting. The first dishes that arrived were a variety of namul and a sashimi platter. As more friends arrived, we continued to order food and drinks, enjoying dishes like salad, grilled horumon, and various meats. The wine was flowing, and we even tried some Korean seaweed as a snack. The meal continued with dishes like grilled beef tongue, simmered beef tendons, and salt-grilled mackerel. We ended the meal with cold Korean noodles, seafood stone pot rice, shrimp bread, and crab cream pasta. Despite being full, the food was so delicious that we couldn't resist trying everything. It was a fun and enjoyable middle-aged men's gathering.

I had pork kimchi (^o^) and it came with a raw egg on top, so at first I thought the meat might be half-cooked by the looks of it. But it was actually cooked through and the spices were really flavorful, giving it a mature taste. It was very delicious with the seaweed, soup, and rice, and for only 600 yen, it was a great deal. I was considering getting the yakiniku set meal, but I'm glad I chose the pork kimchi because it was really tasty. Yakiniku set meals are available at many places, but this pork kimchi dish was truly delicious.

It's been a while since I visited a Korean restaurant ♫ (Of course, it's my first time visiting this restaurant) I used to visit a Korean restaurant frequently when there was one near my house, but I lost the opportunity after moving. (I wonder if a yakiniku restaurant is also considered a Korean restaurant? If so, it might be more accurate to call it a Korean home-cooked meal restaurant) This restaurant is located near Shinfukae along the inner ring. The exterior of the restaurant looks quite impressive, so at first glance, I thought it might be a bar. But it turns out to be a "Japanese and Korean cuisine restaurant." The interior visible from the outside is also clean with a long counter and a few table seats at the back. It could easily function as a bar as well. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere ♫ First, I ordered a shochu highball with lemon ♫ The appetizers were pickled radish kimchi, kelp, and fish kimchi. Now, what should I order for the main dishes? ♫ - Korean seaweed 80 yen (a must-have for me as a drinking snack ♥) - Warm egg and jun-sai (from Akita) (It's really delicious, but is this a drink?) - Water eggplant (from Senshu) 230 yen (juicy and really delicious ♫) - Shrimp bread 280 yen (it's so delicious, but isn't it too cheap? Definitely worth ordering!) - Seafood pancake 780 yen (crispy and full of seafood ♫ I ate it even though I was already full) I also ordered a shochu highball with Calpis and the restaurant's recommended "super-rich yogurt liquor 380 yen" ♫ Oh~ yogurt ♥ This restaurant is overall cheap and has a high cost performance ♫ The food is delicious, and I took a chance by going there, but it turned out to be a "hit" ♫ The man and woman who are probably a married couple are very friendly, and the atmosphere is great ♫ As for the seafood pancake, it was one of the top five most delicious seafood pancakes I've ever had ♫ Thank you for the meal ♫

This shop is located on the right-hand side before the first traffic light when heading north from Shin-Fukae intersection towards Fukae Bridge and Suita. I had somehow overlooked it before, but this time I noticed the Yakiniku set meal for 800 yen and decided to visit. Inside, there is a counter on the right and table seats on the left, creating a nice atmosphere. However, the exposed concrete in the back kitchen area slightly disrupts the ambiance. The shop is run by a couple who appear to be in their 40s, with a slender wife and a husband. They also have a variety of shochu available. I ordered the Yakiniku set meal, which came with white kimchi, namul bean sprouts, Korean seaweed, rice, soup, grilled meat, and vegetables. They first served the kimchi, bean sprouts, and seaweed, followed by the rice, soup, grilled meat, and vegetables. The cold dishes were served first, followed by the hot dishes at the same time, ensuring that the food stayed warm. The kimchi, namul, and soup were delicious, with the Korean-style soup having a nice peppery flavor. The rice was more than expected and tasted good. The grilled meat was slightly tough, with more vegetables than meat, but considering the price, it was reasonable. Starting from April 30th, they will be offering a cold noodle set meal, which I would like to try next time. I love eating cold noodles with plenty of vinegar, so I definitely want to try it. Thank you for the meal.

"When I heard 'You'll be surprised when you enter!!' without understanding anything, I hesitantly approached the front of the restaurant... 'Oh!... Takasou... I'm sorry' I thought as I entered the restaurant, only to be greeted by a sophisticated, black-themed interior with a serene atmosphere. As I looked up, I saw a wide selection of famous shochu and sake lined up. 'Wow! They have the special shochu that was mentioned at the magical restaurant!' Excited, I placed my order. The lunch menu had about 8 options, priced around 800 yen. 'Surprisingly affordable...' I thought, leaving it all to my senior colleague, a beginner in Korean cuisine. Soon, Bibimbap and cold noodles set were in front of me! 'Please adjust the amount of gochujang to your liking. You can add vinegar to the cold noodles as per your preference.' As a first-timer in Korean cuisine, I dug into the dishes with excitement. 'So delicious! The minced miso sauce on the Bibimbap is amazing!' The silver bowl of cold noodles added a cool touch, with hidden ham under the apple on top, making me exclaim, 'They're sneaky!' The staff chuckled at my eagerness to devour the food. I quickly finished the dishes, feeling both full and satisfied, and took a moment to breathe. 'Ah, that was delicious!' This restaurant was a perfect fit for those words. It left an impression as a place where women and families can casually visit, although taking the first step to enter may require some courage, given its fashionable atmosphere."
