I had heard rumors that the cakes here were delicious, but I hadn't had a chance to visit until now. Since it's not a place I can easily go to, I decided to splurge and buy a lot of cakes as usual! This time, I got the Strawberry Shortcake, Half-baked Cheesecake, Milk Crepe, Smooth Cheese Tart, Chocolate Cake, and Strawberry Tart - six items in total. The Shortcake was quite sweet, but I liked it because the whipped cream had a strong milky flavor and the sponge was fluffy and sweet! The Milk Crepe had a strong banana flavor throughout, which I personally didn't like much. It reminded me of a trifle roll with lots of fruit, but I felt like it was a bit of a waste of the luxurious feeling. The layers of the Milk Crepe were filled with custard instead of whipped cream, and the caramelized surface was a nice touch! The Chocolate Cake wasn't too sweet, and the chocolate flavor wasn't as strong as I expected. It might not be satisfying enough for those looking for a strong chocolate taste! The Cheesecake was so creamy that it melted in my mouth, and the crispy cookie base paired perfectly with the not-too-sweet creamy cheese - it was delicious! I highly recommend it! The Strawberry Tart had a pretty sweet tart base, and both custard cream and whipped cream were used. It's a recommended cake for those who like sweeter flavors!

I went to Fukuoka for a certain important matter and ended up getting some assorted baked goods as a souvenir. They were quite delicious and moist, perfect for dessert after lunch. I ended up eating most of them myself, but they would make great gifts as well. The location is about 2km south of Fujisaki Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, just off Meiji Street.

Located about 200 meters south from the "Hara Intersection" on the National Route 202, Imajuku Shindo in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, there is a pastry shop on the first floor of a condominium. The shop specializes in cakes, with pastry chef Hidenori Shimizu as the owner. The shop was established in 1998 in Wakahisa, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. In 2002, the "Hara Shop" was opened, followed by the "Fukuoka Mitsukoshi Shop" in 2005, and the "Kinoha Mall Shop" in 2011. Currently, the "Hara Shop" serves as the main store. The shop's secret to deliciousness lies in their "carefully selected ingredients," "made fresh," and "staff's love for cakes." The signature item on the menu is the "Mille Crepe." The "Anniversary Cake," which uses plenty of strawberries, is also popular, especially the "Anniversary Shortcake" decorated with sliced strawberries on the sides. For this occasion, I tried the popular item "Anniversary Shortcake" in a 4-inch size for 2300 yen. The cake had a light whipped cream and moist sponge cake, topped with an abundance of strawberries. The strawberries were also placed on the sides and inside the sponge cake, making it a luxurious strawberry cake. It was perfect for celebrating Kanai's birthday. I am grateful and will definitely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is personally the number one cake shop in Fukuoka city. Originally located in the Mitsukoshi store in Tenjin, it was already a very popular shop there. The reason for moving the shop was probably due to the high rent and the confidence that they could still do well even after moving, because the cakes here are incredibly delicious. Compared to other cake shops in Tenjin and Hakata, the cakes here are outstandingly delicious. Despite the reasonable price of 400-500 yen, I think they could easily charge 700-800 yen for their cakes. I usually order shortcakes 60% of the time, and milk crepes and chocolate cakes 40% of the time. The cream is not too sweet, yet it has a luxurious texture. I don't usually eat milk crepes at other shops, but the caramel base of the milk crepe here is particularly delicious, so I eat it regularly. In addition to cakes, the cookies and baked goods are also very tasty. Inside the shop, there is a server where you can taste samples for free, and they are also very delicious. This is simply my favorite shop that I love. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is moving to Fukuoka city.

I always purchase birthday cakes from Strawberry Garden. The sponge is fluffy and the fresh cream has a smooth and delicious taste. I don't usually eat sweet things, but these cakes are light and enjoyable.

Located at the intersection of National Route 202, just south of the road across from Aeon. There were about 6 parking spaces in front of the shop, but they were always full because customers kept coming in one after another. The showcase inside the shop was filled with various cakes such as pudding, cream puffs, macarons, and tarts. There were also baked goods available. I purchased the classic strawberry shortcake and chocolate tart. I don't have a receipt since it was a while ago, so I apologize for the vague memory. I don't think the prices were too high considering the size of the cakes. The cakes were delicious. I would like to try the milk crepe next time. Thank you for the meal.

Baumkuchen is also a popular cake shop.
- Cassis Mousse (390 yen): The berry mousse didn't have the acidity of raspberries or cassis, so it felt more like a berry mousse. The texture of the mousse was good and it looked very beautiful.
- Chocolat Chiffon (350 yen): The sponge of the chocolat chiffon wasn't too sweet, and the cream was also not very sweet. However, it felt a bit heavy. Both cakes had a good portion size. Thank you for the meal.

The cakes here are easy to buy. A slice is large, yet priced at around 400 yen, which is a great deal. And they are all delicious. A must-buy is the milk crepe. It is filled with bananas, kiwis, strawberries, and plenty of custard. The top is caramelized and crispy. It is satisfying and filling. But with plenty of fruits, it is not too heavy to finish it all. The chocolate chiffon cake is fluffy and moist. The strawberry tart is loaded with strawberries, with a hint of whipped cream and sponge. The tart crust is crispy and enjoyable. The baked cheesecake is rich, with a cheese powder topping as an accent. The cookie crust at the bottom is crispy. The cassis mousse is sweet and sour, and rich. The chocolate cake is something I sometimes buy for birthdays. I usually don't like whipped cream, but the chocolate whipped cream here is quite palatable. The sponge and cream are fluffy and delicious. Although I can't finish a whole slice. The Baumkuchen baked in the store is often brought as a gift. Many people don't like Baumkuchen, but this one is not dry and is well-received. In December 2014, I had the milk crepe after a long time. It is still delicious. The caramelized top, bananas, kiwis, strawberries, the elastic custard, and crepe. It's exquisite. In May 2016, I bought Baumkuchen and baked sweets as gifts. I got the milk crepe for myself and the strawberry tart for my daughter. Each slice is around 400 yen. I feel like there are not many types of cakes available. It would be nice to have more seasonal cakes. I always end up ordering the milk crepe. It seems a bit smaller than before. It's a shame that they no longer have peach juice. Instead, they had pieces of Baumkuchen on display.

Fukuoka Prefecture, Sawara-ku [Strawberry Garden] Theme: Gourmet ~ Sawara-ku. It's surprising that I haven't posted about it yet. I even took a photo of the exterior but didn't post it. I've been a loyal customer of Strawberry Garden since my university days, for at least 10 years... Oops, revealing my age! I remember that when I went there a while ago, they didn't allow eating in anymore. The prices are reasonable, the taste is elegant and stylish. I love the tart from Strawberry Garden and used to buy it often. I also had a loyalty card and used it for gifts and such. I don't go there as often now that I'm not in Fukuoka, but I miss their tart, mille crepe, and baumkuchen. I recently had truffles at the park. They were soft, with a hint of saltiness. Not too bitter, but I prefer a bit more firmness. I'm not a big fan of truffles. My appetite is still strong, but I've had loose stools for a week now. I've been waking up early and feeling restless. Luckily, this morning was better. I got bitten on the face by my cat, Gyaos, during a fight. I scolded him and reminded him not to do it again. I hope my cats can get along and stop fighting. Gyaos seemed happy when we went out together. I need to do more for him. I'm sorry for always putting him second.

I went to buy a cake at "Strawberry Garden" after hearing how delicious it was, and it lived up to its reputation. I visited around 7pm on a weekend, which is usually a time when cakes are running low and the store might be closing soon. However, there were customers coming in one after another, indicating its popularity. Even though it was late, there were still several delicious-looking cakes available. Among them, the most popular seemed to be the one with strawberries on top. As the name suggests, "Strawberry Garden" seems to have a strong commitment to strawberries, sourcing sweet and tangy strawberries all year round. So, I decided to buy their strawberry tart based on the good reviews. The strawberry tart had a thick tart crust with a perfect combination of sweet and tangy strawberries and custard cream. The overflowing strawberries were not too sweet or too sour, making it truly delicious. They also had a wide variety of tasty baked goods, so I will definitely be stopping by often. With its dedication to strawberries, "Strawberry Garden" definitely lived up to its reputation for deliciousness.

I forgot to write a review, so I'll write the 2011 version. I had apple pie and baked cheesecake. The apple pie had a unique twist with a light cinnamon flavor in the apple paste layered on the pie crust, topped with thinly sliced apples. The baked cheesecake had a nice accent of white sesame on top. Both were delicious. In 2008, I also enjoyed the milk crepe from Strawberry Garden. The cheesecake was surprisingly firm and tasty. The milk crepe seemed a bit smaller than before. Address: 5-10-4 Hara, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City. Tel: 092-847-1760. Strawberry Garden Hara branch (cakes / Hara area).

This shop is famous for its Baumkuchen baked in the store, but the real gem is the Milk Crepe priced at 367 yen. It is a delicious dessert with a subtle sweetness. Bananas, kiwi, and strawberries are abundantly used, layered with elegant custard. The surface is coated with caramel, which adds a slightly sweet touch that complements the dessert well. Even those who don't like overly sweet cakes will find it delicious. It may be a bit difficult to eat, but it is highly recommended. There are many other delicious cakes available at reasonable prices, making it even more enjoyable. Perfect for enjoying at home or as a souvenir.

Across the original Aeon road, there is a cake shop♪ They also have branches in Kinoha Mall and in the Minami area. I absolutely love their milk crepe! The milk crepe, filled with plenty of cream and fruit, is delicious no matter when you eat it. The perfect balance between the crispy caramel on top and the sweetness of the cream is what I love about it. I also recommend their seasonal whole peach pie, which uses a whole peach filled with custard on top of pie crust. It's a simple cake, but the juicy peach and the subtly sweet cream that complements it are irresistible♪ The only downside is that the prices seem to go up every year, but considering the rise in ingredient costs, it's understandable. I find their smaller half-baked cakes and cookie choux to be very handy as souvenirs♪

I really like the shortcake here because it has a good volume and a nice balance of sweetness without being too heavy. I usually only order chocolate cake, but here I prioritize getting the shortcake. The milk crepe seems to be popular, but I'm not a big fan... The crispy top part sticks to my teeth, but the moist part underneath is delicious. I usually use this place for birthdays, but I get disappointed on Christmas Day because you have to reserve in advance to buy a cake. I wanted to buy a birthday cake, not a Christmas cake... Oh well.

I have used this place a few times for birthday cakes and gifts, as the taste is delicious. However, the service was terrible today, so I hope it improves. Firstly, the sample boxes in the baked goods section look disappointing. They are empty with no fillings, and when I asked, the staff said that they were meant for upcoming baked goods. It would be better to fill them with the adjacent sweets. It's hard to choose without seeing the completed sample boxes. This time, I wanted a box of Baumkuchen and baked goods for around 4000 yen, but they only had ones for 3000 yen or close to 5000 yen. I asked a female staff member if they could change the contents to make it around 4000 yen, but she just said it couldn't be done and remained silent. I thought maybe they could ask the manager, but there was no effort to do so. The attitude was surprisingly cold. Since there were no other customers, it didn't seem like they were busy. In the end, I bought from another store (which also didn't have a 4000 yen box, but they were friendly and quickly accommodated my request with a smile). Other reviews also mention issues with the service, so maybe that's just how this place is...

Hmm? It seems like there are a lot of reviews about milk crepes here, right? The milk crepes here are delicious! I could easily eat about two of them. However, personally, when I think of Strawberry Garden, the first thing that comes to mind is the cream puff. The pastry is crispy and the cream is rich and very sweet. I could probably eat about three of them. The cream puffs from Strawberry Garden and Hinodeya in Saga are by far the most delicious I've ever had. Cream puffs should be like this, right? That's just my very personal opinion. Oh, and the half-baked cheese is also delicious. It's a bite-sized cheesecake. It's also very rich. It's very cheesy! And it melts in your mouth. It's not that crispy feeling, but it's good. Well, tastes may vary. Anyway, I love these two! I always buy them. They're perfect for souvenirs or gifts, I think.

I brought these cakes as a gift for a home party. I went to the main store because I needed a large quantity and was traveling by car. There were many types of cakes and other baked goods in the showcase at the main store. I bought 10 milk crepes for the gift and a few more for myself. They were kind enough to let me pay first and come back later to pick them up. By the way, when I went to a friend's house, one of the kids had to leave early due to time constraints. When offered a cake to take home, they initially declined because they were full, but ended up taking it after seeing how delicious it looked. The cakes received high praise from everyone who tried them, and we were all very satisfied. It's amazing how much joy a cake that costs less than 400 yen can bring.

Visited on February 8, 2010. The place is in front of Hara Satie, next to Mos Burger. The shop has a monochrome and chic atmosphere. I went in the evening and was able to buy a milk crepe just in time. Each cake is cut into large pieces, so it has a satisfying texture. I also bought a half-baked cheesecake. The milk crepe had strawberries, kiwi, and bananas inside with plenty of custard. The top was caramelized, crispy and enjoyable. The half-baked cheesecake, although small, was packed with a rich cheese flavor, smooth, and delicious. I want to try other cakes, so I will visit again when I'm nearby.
