On the day of departure to Hokkaido for sports watching, the early flight to Sapporo was canceled due to the typhoon, but luckily it was safe! Considering the effects of the typhoon, I arrived early at Kansai Airport just in case. Since I was planning to have breakfast after arriving at Kansai Airport, there were only COCO'S and PRONTO until check-in at the second terminal, so I leisurely had a toast set here. It was a simple toast with just butter and a boiled egg, but it came with a drink bar, so you could have as many drinks as you wanted while waiting. The sofa benches also allowed for a relaxing time. By the way, you can freely use the outlets, so it's perfect for charging your smartphone while waiting. After check-in, there are other restaurants where you can spend time until departure, so you can also do that.

I used it for seeing off my partner. At Kansai Airport, Terminal 1 is currently renovating its restaurants, so we decided to have a meal at Terminal 2. The only options for dining at Terminal 2 are Pronto and Coco's (domestic flights). Although Lawson has recently opened, it feels like there are still not enough shops to pass the time at Terminal 2. There was a waiting time because there are only these two shops. You take a number from the machine, and when your turn comes, you scan the QR code on your ticket to see your seat number displayed, and then you go to that seat. There are not many waiters since it's a self-service style. Robots deliver the food, so it's all about timing. I was served by a waiter. I might use it again in the future. Thank you for the meal.

Mid-May on a Sunday. On the way back after finishing business in Osaka. The dining options at Kansai Airport are quite limited now. The prices are definitely airport prices. The tuna sashimi bowl tasted as expected, but I was a bit puzzled by the abundance of shiso leaves, which I'm not a fan of.

Before boarding the Peach First Class (rumored to be for presidents and prime ministers, plus 2500 yen), let's have one last meal in Japan. I had been craving fish, so I enjoyed a delicious meal at Coco's. I was so relaxed that I didn't realize Coco's was in the domestic terminal, not the international one. It's been four years since my last trip abroad, so having extra time was a good idea! I used it for breakfast on the morning flight to Ishigaki Island with the first flight. It opens in the 6 o'clock hour in the morning, which is convenient. It seems to have a good turnover rate because there are more seats than Pronto. I ordered with a tablet and the food arrived relatively quickly. This place is at the airport. It's a race against time. The area in front of the drink bar was quite crowded. I couldn't find iced tea, so I chose a different drink. The thick slices of bread for breakfast were nice, but a bit dry, which is a downside. Other than that, it has the same reliable quality as Coco's. I got a 5% discount by showing my KIX card. I appreciate that.

There is a morning plate available. It was opened at Kansai Airport Terminal 2, which I visited after a long time. Until now, there was only Pronto, so it became a choice between two morning options. Toast and coffee for 550 yen. It's an airport, so that's about right.
