On Wednesday at 6:30 PM, I went to "Boulangerie Burdigala" in Umeda. The place was about half full. There weren't many bread options available at this time, but since I had skipped lunch and was hungry, I was looking for something delicious. I found the "Puteire・OSAKA・An Butter (506 yen)" and "Blended Coffee (462 yen)". After purchasing, they warmed the bread and put butter in it. It was very tempting. I took a bite. It was delicious. The warm bread with melted butter and Gorgonzola cheese was fragrant, and the red wine-soaked fig paste was amazingly tasty. The fig paste seemed to be based on white bean paste. The whey 100% bread was soft and had a wheat aroma, which matched perfectly with these ingredients. There was a knife and fork, so I wanted to cut the bread while eating, but unfortunately, the knife was not sharp enough to cut through this hard bread... If there was a knife that could cut cleanly through this hard bread, it would have been perfect in terms of appearance and texture. They also have lunch menus from 11:00 to 14:00, which include petit gateaux and drinks, making it a good deal. The bread at "Boulangerie Burdigala" is indeed delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 7:20 pm. Purchased separately. Semi-hard cheese curry = 350 yen, black tea melon bread = 320 yen, raisin bread = 290 yen. Total = 960 yen (be careful). There is a shop inside Shin-Osaka Station.

I visited around 5:30 pm on a regular day. They didn't have a wide variety of bread, but they had various types of bread such as white bread. There were no sandwiches. The most popular croissant butter had a very nice aroma and was fluffy and easy to eat. This croissant is definitely worth repeating. The price is not cheap, but the deliciousness is guaranteed, so it's worth buying!

I went to Boulangerie Burdigala in Osaka. I was torn between choosing a croissant or Pan de Mie, but I chose the latter. When I ate it, I could really taste the flavor and richness, with a crispy outer texture and a moist inside. I am looking forward to toasting it and eating it again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This popular shop tends to have long lines during lunchtime. I usually buy plain bread or sweet pastries, but this time I tried the savory bread. The bread itself was delicious, with plenty of filling. The seasoning was quite unique in flavor.

I wanted to eat the bread that was served at a restaurant that has since closed, so I went to buy it. The same bread was still being sold, and the staff confirmed it for me. All the other bread looked delicious as well. The hard type of bread I bought was just as delicious as it used to be.

Peach cake (chantilly) with iced coffee set. The cake is small but has a lot of peaches in it, and the whipped cream is fluffy and delicious. Also, I bought some bread to enjoy at home! I didn't know this bakery was famous, I must have passed by it so many times. Eating Log is really interesting.

I visited a bakery that had received high ratings but had a mixed reputation. The bakery mainly sold hard baguettes with some fruit tarts. I don't usually eat hard bread, so I bought the croissant that was recommended by the media and some cookies. The croissant had a wonderful buttery aroma, and I was glad I bought two. However, if you prefer savory or sweet bread, you might find limited options here. I probably won't go back again.

I visited a high-quality bread shop called Boulangerie Burdigala in Osaka, located on the 2nd floor of HEP FIVE Plaza, just a 3-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station, on a weekday in August 2023 around 11 am. The cozy eat-in space had about 5 customers already. I ordered the lunch menu item "Croque Monsieur" for ¥1,210 with an iced coffee set at the order counter and paid. I waited for my food to be ready and then carried it to a counter seat. The plate included Croque Monsieur, soup, a salad with bread, and an iced coffee. The salad with a tangy dressing was enjoyable, even without the bread. The Croque Monsieur, made with cheese, ham, and egg, was flavorful, with delicious bread. The soup had a hint of sweetness and paired well with the Croque Monsieur. The balance of the meal was good, but it felt a bit lacking in volume for a lunch. Overall, the experience at Burdigala was a bit underwhelming for the price, so it might be better to buy their bread to enjoy.

Bakery located on B2 of Umeda HEP FIVE PLAZA. When you enter the entrance, there is a display of bread, and at the back of the cash register, there is a cafe space. The interior is stylish and luxurious, spacious, and with a wide variety of breads, including baked goods and cookies. This time, I bought croissant Paris, bretzel, and epi for takeout. The croissant has a strong butter flavor, with many layers that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, delicious. The bretzel has plenty of custard on top, sweet but not too overwhelming, goes well with the rich wheat flavor of the bread. The epi has a rich wheat flavor, a firm texture, and the bacon's richness goes well with it, spreading umami when chewed. When baked, the aroma becomes even stronger and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I got a croissant to go. It was fluffy, crispy, and just the right amount of sweetness, very delicious. They can also warm it up for you, so I had it warmed up at the counter. They had many other varieties as well, so I'm thinking of trying something different next time.

This time, I only bought about half of what I usually do. That's because it was much less crowded than usual. When I tried eating what I bought, the taste was slightly off. It's really sad. Price increases are understandable, but I hope they can at least maintain the taste.

I couldn't forget the Seagull Fleury and had to revisit. Last time I bought a half size, but my toddler devoured it, so this time I got the larger one. The more you eat, the more delicious it gets, a taste of happiness. It was my first time eating in. Quinamman x Lemon, a favorite combination. Also had a crispy croissant. The iced chai was delicious and made me happy.

This is a bakery among the top 100 stores in 2022. While strolling around, I passed by a popular bakery and decided to stop by. I bought a Bressanne for 334 yen and a Pain au Chocolat for 334 yen. They incorporate homemade cream into the brioche and bake it. The Pain au Chocolat has Belgian chocolate inside croissant dough. It was a truly authentic bakery experience.

Croissant ¥220 was fluffy and crispy, very delicious. I like hard bread, so this bakery is one of my favorites. They also have seating inside and will warm up your pastries for you. It's a little walk from Osaka Station, but there was no line so I was very satisfied.

Boulangerie Burdigala, a popular bakery in the Umeda area! They not only sell bread but also have a cafe. I went to buy bread this time, and it was not crowded before 6 pm on a weekday, so I could easily get in! There were still many empty shelves, and although the variety was reduced, there were still delicious-looking bread lined up, which was great. Many people also use the cafe, but there were empty seats, so it's a good choice for those who want to easily get in. As it was my first time at the shop, I was wondering what to get, but then I overheard a regular customer recommending to their companion, "This one is delicious!" and it helped me a lot. I ended up purchasing Croissant, Edamame and Cheese, and Anchovy, Dried Tomato, and Olive. The Anchovy, Dried Tomato, and Olive bread was my personal favorite out of the three. It was small and cheaper than other bread, but the taste of each ingredient was distinct and satisfying. The Edamame and Cheese bread had a stronger edamame flavor than I expected, and it was delicious! The Croissant had a rich buttery taste, not crispy but soft. It would be great even with fillings! The bread with various ingredients was a highlight and delicious. I would like to try something sweet next time! Thank you for the meal!

On Sunday, I arrived before 2:00 PM and just made it in time for lunch. There were still some available seats, so I didn't have to wait. Some lunch menu items were already sold out, but luckily they still had the quiche I wanted. They had a lot of delicious bread options, so I will definitely come back again!

I met the best bakery in my life. They have a variety of simple yet richly flavored breads, with a lot of herb and cheese options which I love. They warm up the bread you buy for eating in, so you can enjoy it deliciously. They also have many seasonal limited editions, so I want to visit regularly. The coffee was also delicious.

I entered the store 30 minutes before closing, so I just had a coffee. It's self-service, but the interior is spacious and has a calm atmosphere, making it a relaxing place. Normally, they serve bread as a set, but I'll look forward to trying it next time. They also sell cookies and baked goods.

Visited around 5pm on Sunday. No wait. Bought Earl Grey Blanc and another item. The aroma of the black tea is very elegant. It seems to contain orange peel and white chocolate. The other bread I bought, whose name I forgot, had a plain taste but was moist and allowed me to taste the deliciousness of the wheat flour. Compared to Burdigala in Tokyo Station, it is more compact. I think the cost performance is a bit poor.
