This day, I was in the mood for hamburgers again (lol). It's like I'm seeking revenge from the other day, haha. But wait... what was that about hamburgers again? Oh come on, have you already forgotten? When you say hamburgers, do you mean Kanno Hirokazu? Or maybe, is it "Heidi, Heidi, we're Heidi-oh" instead? No, no, maybe it's "Maarushin, Maarushin, hamburgers" you're talking about? Are you a fan of that? Or maybe, is it "We put all our strength into our belly buttons, and we play a big trumpet" instead? Wait, that's not about hamburgers at all, right? ( ̄▽ ̄) It's about Marudai Wieners, right? Oh no, I've derailed again... Anyway, that's how I ended up at this place called "Pau Hana" in Kosaka. It's a steak and hamburger restaurant that also has other teppanyaki menu items and various set menu courses. Last time I came, it was closed, so I ended up at Big Boy and complained to him... This time, it's my revenge day, haha. The interior of the restaurant has a Hawaiian vibe. The main dishes are steak and hamburgers, but they also have a variety of teppanyaki menu items and set course meals, so it seems like you can use the restaurant in various ways. I ordered the 160g hamburger with a course menu, while my partner went for the lovely steak course menu. The appetizer, salad, soup, rice, main dish, and dessert are included in the course. My hamburger was enjoyed with ponzu sauce. The appetizer, salad, soup, and rice were pretty standard. The rice wasn't even warmed up properly... The hamburger was a big chunky type, but when you cut into it, the meat juice overflowed from the inside. It had a fragrant aroma and excellent umami. The combination with ponzu sauce was also great. I prefer a softer texture rather than a firm one, but this one was on the firmer side, yet still delicious. Maybe it was because I ate it in a way that made it tastier (lol). I didn't have the dessert as I gave it to my partner. As for my partner's steak, it was... well, it seemed to be delicious in a normal way. Well, considering the price, it was decently good. The service was also very nice. Bon appétit!
