I came to the restaurant for a light breakfast before day drinking with a hangover. When I arrived, there were a few customers lined up 10 minutes before opening. The slightly rich broth soothed my upset stomach. The chicken nanban was delicious even though it wasn't duck nanban. It had a good amount of chicken in it, so I felt satisfied.

The staff who took our order seemed to misunderstand multiple times and their service felt a bit rushed, which was disappointing. The interior of the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere. I had a set meal with tempura. The soba noodles were thick and had a unique texture that I had never experienced before, and they were delicious. On this day, I decided to have lunch at Hankyu Sanbangai. I visited this soba restaurant. There was almost no wait, so I was able to enter right away. The menu has a wide variety of options. From the lunch menu, I ordered the following: Mini Donburi and Soba Set (1,045 yen including tax). For the Mini Donburi, you can choose from five options: Oyakodon, Tekkadon, Tendon, Curry Don, and Konoha Don. I chose the Curry Don. Additionally, you could choose between hot or cold soba, so I went with the cold Juwari Soba. Even though it's called Mini Donburi, it was surprisingly filling! The curry had a fruity flavor and was not too spicy. It had a rich taste that I enjoyed. The Juwari Soba had a firm and chewy texture, even though the noodles were short. At first, I thought the portion might be small, but with the Donburi, the overall amount was just right. Thank you for the meal!

Although today's lunch special was katsudon, I stayed true to my original plan and ordered the curry soba with cold soba set. The portion was on the smaller side. The dashimaki tamago was soft and had a delicious dashi flavor that oozed out when you bit into it. I saw a sign saying they serve 100% buckwheat soba, so I decided to go in. I ordered the steamed soba noodles. The soba noodles were thick, and they came with green onions and wasabi. I went to the soba and sake restaurant "Shinobuan" for a light lunch with some soba noodles. It is located on the B2F of the south building of Hankyu Sanbangai. It is across from the "Gotakachaya" where I went the other day. I ordered the "Seiro Soba" (825 yen). The recommended option was the 100% soba noodles, but I heard they were thick and hard, so I changed it to the 80% soba noodles. The noodles were not shiny or firm. As usual, I added wasabi to the soba and dipped it in the spicy broth. It was delicious! The spicy broth was quite spicy. The 80% soba noodles had a firm texture. The milky soba water was comforting. The display of shimenawa was interesting. I later found out that I could have gotten a free large portion. I wish they had mentioned it to me. Overall, it was a good experience.

Kansai dashi is good with udon but often not suitable for soba. Even if it's the broth from a soba restaurant. (I'm from the northern region) I really enjoyed the broth here, it suits my taste perfectly!! But I made a mistake and accidentally ordered kishimen instead of soba. I'll have soba next time. The tempura was a bit too oily for my liking. I prefer it to be a bit more crispy. The tofu and grated yam side dishes were delicious. Recommended.

Today I felt like eating soba, so I decided to eat somewhere! While shopping in Umeda, I was thinking about where to have dinner. I remembered that there was a soba restaurant in Sanban-gai that I used to go to with my family when I was a kid. So, I headed to Shinobuan in Hankyu Sanban-gai South Building B2F. The restaurant was not crowded when I entered, but it quickly filled up. I was originally planning to have soba, but then I saw a delicious-looking meat dish on the menu. It was the Special Grade Beef and Egg Rice Bowl for 1,800 yen. It was made with Miyazaki A4 ranked rib loin, cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy. When mixed with the egg, it tasted like sukiyaki. I also ordered soba as a set, choosing the cold Ten-Wari soba with daikon radish, tempura bits, wasabi, and bonito flakes. It was a small portion but very authentic, and I prefer Ten-Wari soba. The restaurant offers a variety of soba dishes, including individual hot pots like sukiyaki, duck hot pot, and shabu-shabu, which seem perfect for the upcoming season. Overall, it was a delightful meal. Shinobuan is located at 1-1-3 Shibata, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka, in Hankyu Sanban-gai.
