Everything was complex, everything was surprising, and everything went into my stomach without tiring my stomach at all. The best course was recommended, so the pairing was also the best. Interestingly, the non-alcoholic pairing is the same price as the alcoholic pairing, but the attention to detail is amazing. You will definitely feel healthier. If you are curious, please experience it at the restaurant. First, warm up from the inside with a healthy soup. The appetizer contains four different items in a circular shape. It has a Chinese feel but somehow reminds you of Japan. Yet it is unmistakably Chinese. The dish where foie gras meets tarte tatin is Chinese? The powder is definitely five-spice powder, but the scent is not overpowering, it is gentle. Roll up the amigasatake and mushrooms to eat. Inside, there are two types of sauce... the scent of raw mushrooms invites health. The shark fin is wrapped in a pheasant white broth. The broth is excellent. I was captivated by the crispy taro. The flounder has a thick skin and the taste is excellent. The accompanying potatoes are delicious too. The refreshing scent of cardamom and fennel adds complexity. The palate cleanser with celery and mint is refreshing. The bright yellow-green color is lovely. The tenderness of the wild cow steak is outstanding. The cooking is perfect. It's lovely with the celery. It's like a steak version of celery hot pot. It was the best chimaki I've ever had. It was light and easy to eat. The noodles with chives are served with hot soup, and it's recommended to enjoy them together with the chimaki. The almond tofu-flavored Mont Blanc is indescribable. The horseradish accent is surprising. Ending with Chinese tea and sweets that evoke a French finale. Complex, surprising, please experience it. I repeat, the non-alcoholic pairing for 10,000 yen is also recommended!

It provides delight to both the eyes and the taste buds. You can feel the refined authenticity of the "creation" from the vessel to the taste. Enjoying all 7 soft drink pairings in small quantities for around 6000 yen is fun. Spices like cardamom and saffron are carefully incorporated throughout. While I have tried white sweetfish pine cone tempura at other Chinese restaurants, the quality at this place was outstanding. I would like to revisit at night. Although the drinks are a bit pricey, considering the attention to detail, it's worth it.

I really enjoyed listening to the staff at the restaurant, especially the woman who served us. She had a wonderful smile and made the experience enjoyable. The restaurant may seem confusing at first with its Chinese-style decor, but once you understand the concept, it all makes sense. It would have been even better if they asked about allergies. The food was delicious.

The lunch was very cost-effective and delicious. Although I rarely have the opportunity to come here at night, I finally came for dinner this time. I chose the 12,000 yen course, but maybe I should have gone for the 18,000 yen course? I have no complaints, but for the occasional dining out, I wish I had chosen the course with better quality ingredients if it's the same number of dishes. The lunch seemed to be fully booked, but the dinner time was more relaxed, perhaps because it was a weekday. The pairing included not only wine but also cocktails made with rare liqueurs, which really allowed me to enjoy the pleasure of dining out. It's a restaurant I would like to visit again. My companion was also very pleased.

This unique creative Chinese restaurant has an artistic flair, and the staff are very kind and attentive. The menu is presented in a course format, with the first menu item leaving you excited as it doesn't provide details (but a final menu is given at the end for confirmation). The shark fin and sticky rice were especially delicious. The overall impression was slightly French-inspired, so I personally would have liked to feel more of a Chinese influence.

I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere. The dishes were visually appealing and delicious, and I left satisfied. The chimaki was delicious, and the desserts were also great! The only disappointment was that the shirako dish was too salty.

I have always wanted to visit this restaurant for a girls' night out. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is best described as calming, with lighting and interior that reminded me of a different world, like Hong Kong. Each dish on the menu has a unique name, making you excited even before tasting them. Although I didn't take the menu home and can't remember the details of the dishes, everything I tried was truly delicious!! The bite-sized appetizer that came out first was amazing. The small tart that you eat with your hands was sweet and crispy, bringing a nostalgic feeling when you take a bite. My friends and I all wanted like 3 more of them!! The fish had a flavor I had never tasted before, and it paired perfectly with the vegetables and soup. The famous steamed rice roll was chewy, with juicy fillings that were so delicious I wanted to take some home as a souvenir. The portions were small, the presentation was like art, and it was a perfect setting for a leisurely meal with friends who had a lot to talk about. I definitely want to go back soon to experience this fun time that stimulated my senses after a long time! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Wow! #Nishitenma #Chifu @restaurant_chifu When you enter, you feel like you're in a mysterious space with an attraction-like atmosphere. First, the #Shan cup #Magnum bottle came out and I was surprised. The #Jean Vesselle Pinot had a wide range of fruit flavors and put me in a good mood. Starting with the Jin Hua ham! soup, it was light but had a depth of flavor, delicious. The appetizers were beautiful, each one. - Swordtip squid with wushanfen - Century egg tart The pomegranate texture and sweet and sour taste matched perfectly. - Cucumber pickles with a good balance of sour and spicy - Daikon mochi - Vegetable-only Beijing duck style dish, also visually beautiful Bitterness, spiciness, and balance of sweet bean sauce were good, but of course, you start craving duck haha. - Five Island Kamassawara and mini coriander Kamassawara? Sawara? Which one is it? This dish might not be for people who don't like herbs. It was refreshing and spicy, but I wanted a bit more flavor in the fish itself. - Meat dish with oyster sauce and Shaoxing wine sauce, with autumn ingredients like chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, and shiitake mushrooms, plus crispy quinoa for richness. - Tama rice cake with a good balance of chewiness and graininess - Miwa somen noodles were a bit blurry - Almond tofu ice cream was refreshing and delicious. The lunch course is 5500 yen, but a glass of champagne is 2300 yen and a glass of wine is 1800 yen, plus a service charge, so the total for two people was just under 30,000 yen. It might have been more cost-effective to order the pairing. The wine selection was also tasteful, and the staff accommodated the talkative companion's conversation, making it an enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal. #Adachi on Tabelog with a rating of 4.0 or below Established in 1947 by the first generation in Nishitenma. I wanted to try a stylish Chinese restaurant, so I visited Chi-fu for dinner. I was satisfied not only with the appearance but also with the taste. The Shaoxing wine I had after a long time was exceptional. Even though there were so many dishes, they were so delicious that I finished them all. It was also interesting to see the menu completed by folding the paper at the end. Thank you for the meal.

I've always wanted to try a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant. The menu was the last to be completed, which made me excited. Each course was made with simple ingredients but had a light Chinese seasoning that was delicious. Everything was fresh. The vegetarian Peking duck was served on a pumpkin crepe with green onions, a different twist on the traditional dish. The luxurious shark fin and mushroom hot pot had a rich aroma as soon as it was opened. The XO sauce seasoned lobster was unique and delicious. The beef dish with cashew nuts and ginger had a great texture and aroma. The steamed rice roll with meat had a rich flavor and a chewy texture. The buckwheat noodles with matsutake mushrooms had a delicious aroma and broth. For dessert, there was mango pudding, almond tofu with persimmon, and a sweet treat with apricot liqueur, cookies, and chocolate. The whole autumn course was delicious and fresh.

It seems to be an innovative fusion with a strong French influence, rather unusual for Chinese cuisine. It may not fully meet expectations if you go there expecting traditional Chinese flavors. The dishes were all subtly and elegantly seasoned. The main dish, lamb, had a strong flavor which may appeal to some. The recommended wines by the glass are a bit pricey, so it's better to choose a favorite label. (The wine menu does not list specific brands for by-the-glass options, and when I ordered a glass of white wine, it turned out to be 3000 yen per glass.)

I requested a wine pairing course and it was fantastic. We started with a magnum of champagne and the sommelier guided us through the different pairings. The course meals were like a story, making us look forward to the next dish. The head chef even came to greet us at the beginning and end, adding to the wonderful experience. I felt glad to have come, thanks to the delicate and lovely dishes. They change the menu monthly, so I will definitely come back if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Chi-Fu, a modern Chinese restaurant in Nishi-Temma, has been awarded one Michelin star and selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. Upon being seated, you are presented with mysterious menu items like "Akane Sasu" and "Souryoku," creating a sense of excitement before the dishes even arrive. The food combines elements of French cuisine with a hint of Japanese influence, offering a sophisticated and delicate flavor profile that defies traditional Chinese cuisine expectations. We also ordered a wine pairing, which included champagne, sherry, and Shaoxing wine, perfectly complementing each dish. Chef Higashi came to greet us before and after the meal with a warm smile, leaving us eager to return. This stylish restaurant is highly recommended for special occasions or romantic dates.

This was my second dinner here. The best part was... the portion size of the course meal. I am a light eater and have tried various course meals in the past, struggling to finish heavy portions. But here, the amount was just right and I felt very satisfied, even after dessert. The first course, a light bean soup, had a comforting flavor that spread throughout my body. The following dishes, such as the shark fin and Wagyu beef, also left me feeling satisfied. I definitely want to come back here next time.

Located a 8-10 minute walk from Naniwabashi Station, Chi-Fu is a high-end Chinese restaurant where gourmet enthusiasts gather. Not only was it selected as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the west in 2021, but it also received the bronze award on Tabelog in 2017 and 2018. Known for its imaginative and innovative dish names, they provide detailed explanations of each dish and even offer a menu listing the ingredients, adding to the excitement of matching the dish with its components. I ordered the popular lunch course this time. Starting with a delicate amuse-bouche of pea and salmon roe, the next dish was the stunning "Flowers, Birds, Wind, and Moon," presented beautifully on a circular plate. This dish was not just a culinary delight but could also be considered a work of art, incorporating seasonal ingredients with perfect flavor balance. From the spring mountain vegetable-infused vegetarian Peking duck to the tender veal with nut and spice aromas, a seafood dish combining Chinese-style sauce with greenling, and a hidden gem of a Chinese sticky rice roll with melt-in-your-mouth braised pork, each dish was overflowing with charm. The dessert with a hint of mint fragrance, along with herbal tea and tea sweets, rounded off the incredibly satisfying course. I highly recommend visiting Chi-Fu for a delightful dining experience. Bon appétit!
