くるめカササギ
The Azumi Udon Okawa branch is probably my first visit, and my goal was to have the nabeyaki udon and get a takeout even if I coughed before entering. There was an employee who wasn't wearing a mask, but I decided to order the nabeyaki udon to eat. There are two types of nabeyaki udon, one with an iron pot and the other with an earthen pot. Here, it was served in an earthen pot. When the server removed the lid, the broth was still simmering. The visible ingredients included egg, shiitake mushrooms (dried), fish cakes, Chinese cabbage, chicken, enoki mushrooms, and chrysanthemum greens. There were no shrimp tempura toppings, and it cost 780 yen. The ladle provided was small, not the usual size, but it was enough since there were no large toppings like shrimp tempura. The noodles were slightly thin, not too chewy, and not too long, making it easy to eat. The soup was very sweet, which was enjoyable at first, but towards the end, it felt a bit too sweet for udon soup. The egg was cooked with the whites solidified and the yolk runny. The Chinese cabbage had a sour taste, which I didn't like. The chicken had a slight smell, not unpleasant but noticeable. Overall, the dish was satisfying, with a variety of seating options and free side dishes to keep you entertained while waiting. It is also child-friendly with high chairs available.
