This is the famous "Goichi" in Doyama, Umeda ✨ I'm happy to be back here again. The popularity of this place is still strong, and the number of stores is increasing steadily. Originally, the main store was located here, but it has since moved to Higobashi and this Doyama branch was opened. The satisfaction level is very high with a course that includes all-you-can-drink for 7000 yen, which is a great deal! Even with the delicious yakitori course, you will be satisfied, and on top of that, there is all-you-can-drink included, which is fantastic! Sake is served according to your preference, and it's for 3 hours! Additionally, you can refill your drinks until about 15 minutes before the end, which is important and convenient. The yakitori course includes: - Pickled vegetable assortment (yam, cucumber, broccoli, turnip, eggplant) - Grilled chicken thigh meat - Grilled liver and egg - Various skewers (thigh, liver, heart, gizzard, cartilage, minced duck with shiso, soft bone, chicken tenderloin, duck, chicken neck, duck breast, chicken tail) - Yakitori bowl Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying, especially the grilled chicken skewers were a standout. The atmosphere is great for an izakaya, and the course with 3 hours of free drinks for 7000 yen is a fantastic deal. The yakitori bowl at the end was also very tasty. Highly recommended!

I visited this place about 10 years ago and it was a single item menu back then. Now they offer courses with all-you-can-drink options. It's convenient for me since I drink a lot and can enjoy without worrying about it. The grilling was rare and everything was delicious.

It was a course with all-you-can-drink option only! Every dish I had from start to finish was delicious! The staff noticed when my drink was running low and refilled it promptly, which was a big plus. I was quite full in the middle of the meal, but delicious food is endless, isn't it? I managed to finish everything until the very end! It was so tasty. I definitely want to go back again!

Tonight, I received a thank-you dinner from my senior. I requested my favorite grilled chicken from Goichi Dodan, which my senior highly praised for its perfect grilling. The grilled chicken skewers were served in a set of 11, each on the smaller side but just right in terms of quantity. The chicken soup was delicious, and I ended the meal with a satisfying grilled chicken rice bowl. My stomach was full and I felt happy and content. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

In Kanto, the yakitori places all have a similar taste in their sauce, lacking individuality. The reviewer finds it disappointing that places like Torishiki all serve similar dishes, making it unexciting to try different places. They made a reservation 4-5 days in advance at Tajima no Wakadori in Kansai. The variety of grilled chicken dishes was lacking, but overall the meat was tender and juicy. They enjoyed dishes like tataki, momozuri, kimoto tamahimo no nitsuke, chicken breast, kimooobano tsukune, and grilled duck. They also liked the yakionigiri with sauce. For those with a high gourmet experience, they may notice the difference in sauce culture between Western Japan and Kanto, even in yakitori.

First time at "Goichi Dojima Store"♪ Exciting♪♪ Started with a toast of white wine as usual✨♢ Grilled peach♢ Pickled vegetables platter♢ Peach♢ Gizzard♢ Breast♢ Liver and heart♢ Tsukune with shiso♢ Heart♢ Chicken tail♢ Seseri♢ Duck thigh meat♢ Chicken tenderloin♢ Peach♢ Yakitori bowl♢ Grilled rice ball tea-soaked in broth Good grilling... Good saltiness... Consistently delicious❤️ Wine keeps flowing... flowing... not good with all-you-can-drink (σ(^_^;)) Noticed before I had to ask, so they took my order without any stress... It was nice. Maybe I should try to visit all Goichi stores! Thank you for the meal (๑>◡<๑)

I came to Umeda to eat yakitori for the first time in a while! This restaurant was always fully booked, even on rainy or windy days. I ordered the chef's choice course, which included appetizers to dessert. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take many photos. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive for a yakitori restaurant, but after eating, I was convinced that it was worth it, maybe even cheap. The appetizer was a variety of pickled dishes. For dessert, I chose ochazuke, which was not in the photos. Surprisingly, I was quite full. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance. It was delicious. Thank you very much!!!!!!!

The restaurant is small, only accommodating around 15-20 people, but in my opinion, it ranks high among Kansai restaurants! The speed, portion size, and quality of the food were all excellent. Personally, I was blown away by the first dish, the chicken thigh tataki! I will definitely be coming back!

It was quite difficult to make a reservation at Goichi-san's place, but thanks to a friend who managed to get one, I was finally able to go there for the first time! The 7700 yen omakase course came with all-you-can-drink option. It started with a small dish of pickled vegetables, which had a delicate flavor. Next came the chicken tataki, which we asked to be half grilled and half rare. I recommend trying it rare as the chicken was tender and full of flavor. Then, individual skewers were served, including thigh, breast, gizzard, meatball, neck, among others. Each skewer was perfectly cooked, allowing us to savor the unique taste of each part. The simmered liver and eggs that came in between were rich and delicious. For the finale, we could choose between a yakitori bowl, ochazuke, or grilled rice ball. The soup that came with them was full of chicken flavor. The yakitori bowl was a great deal as it also had additional meat. The drinks were good, the food was filling, and overall it was a wonderful dining experience that made me want to come back again.

A friend took me to a yakitori restaurant they found, located in a somewhat hidden place. The atmosphere and food were actually quite good. It seems like they prepare the ingredients well, as there was no unpleasant smell and the dishes came out in the best condition. The meat was fresh and had a great texture, cooked at the perfect timing. I went with the recommended sake, called Soryo from Tochigi Prefecture. It had a rich aroma of rice and sweetness that paired well with the savory yakitori. This is a place I would like to visit whenever I crave yakitori. Thank you for the meal.

I was amazed by the delicious yakitori I recently ate. The best place might be a little hard to notice, located in a slightly DOPE spot in an alley off Doyama intersection. The way they cook the yakitori, including the tataki style, is top-notch.

Located in the bustling shopping street of Doyama, close to Umeda, is the popular yakitori restaurant "Goichi." Despite being fully booked, we were able to make a reservation and enjoy a course meal with a friend who recently moved to Osaka after getting married. The casual yet stylish atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the friendly and attentive service, added to our dining experience. The yakitori dishes were delicious as expected, and we enjoyed pairing them with a variety of sake options. It was a delightful evening.

My foodie friends and I finally visited "Goichi" that we had heard so much about from our fellow foodies. As soon as the restaurant opened, we dove into the all-you-can-drink and yakitori course set menu. The 7000 yen course will be increased to 7700 yen starting April 2023. I started off with a highball toast as usual, while my friends enjoyed the all-you-can-drink option. The appetizers included eggplant, burdock, broccoli, cucumber, and nagaimo pickles, all of which were elegant and delicious. The broccoli was surprisingly tasty. The menu included various yakitori items such as tataki, chicken breast, gizzard, liver simmered in soy sauce, seseri, cartilage, heart, liver, duck leg meat, chicken tenderloin, and green onion with sauce. The tataki was perfectly seared and had a beautiful color, with a sweet meaty flavor. The gizzard and egg dish was rich and flavorful, perfect for pairing with drinks. The chicken tenderloin was incredibly tender, and the seseri was cooked just right. Lastly, we had the option of ochazuke, onigiri, or oyakodon, and I chose the oyakodon. It was made with rare meat and bright yellow egg, a dish I would love to have on its own. The yakitori was expertly grilled over charcoal, juicy and delicious. I would love to visit again in the future!

Regularly, the foodie club goes out to eat delicious food♡ This time, we went to "Goichi" in Doyamacho. The course meal with all-you-can-drink was 7000 yen♡ All-you-can-drink... my favorite words (laughs). We started with a toast with draft beer♡ For appetizers, we had pickled long yam, broccoli, cucumber, burdock, and eggplant. Each dish had a strong taste of the ingredients, not too overpowering, and very delicious♡ The broccoli pickles were especially tasty♡ Next, we had seared chicken thigh. The chicken thigh seared right in front of us was amazingly delicious♡ The rare texture was just right, with crispy skin. The ponzu sauce and salt served with it were also tasty, but it was delicious even without them. Next, various skewers were grilled one after another. Chicken breast, sand liver, chicken tail, chicken cartilage, liver, chicken meatball with shiso leaf, duck thigh meat, chicken tenderloin, and scallion were all perfectly grilled and delicious! They were slightly rare, which suited my preference for rare meat. For the finale, we had a choice of chicken rice bowl, grilled rice ball, or soup rice bowl, and we all chose the chicken rice bowl (laughs). The egg yolk served with it was a stunning orange color, and the taste was incredibly rich and delicious. It was a dream to eat it with the grilled chicken♡ The chicken rice bowl is highly recommended♡ The all-you-can-drink menu included beer, sake, and wine, which made the drinkers happy with the selection. I had 2 glasses of draft beer, 2 glasses of small draft beer, and 3 glasses of sake (laughs). The sake I drank was Hiroshima Tenpoichi Koio Machi Junmai, Shizuoka Kikuzui Tokubetsu Honjozo, and Hyogo Banshu Ikken Junmai Chokarakuchi, all of which were dry and paired well with the grilled chicken♡ Sometimes, with course meals, you end up too full and can't enjoy the finale rice dish, but this course had just the right amount of food and drinks to enjoy until the end. We made an early reservation, so it was just us at first, and the skewers came out smoothly. However, as it got busier, the grilling station seemed overwhelmed, so it looked like it might take longer. But it's nice to watch them grill while sipping on drinks and waiting leisurely. I'm glad we could go to Goichi, which I've always wanted to try, and enjoy both the drinks and food at a reasonable price♡ Thank you as always. They mentioned that prices will increase from April, so I'm even happier that we went at this timing. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I went to a foodie gathering with friends and we went to a place called "Let's Go" where they offer all-you-can-drink for 7,000 yen which includes draft beer, highball, soft drinks, sake, and wine. We started with a toast with draft beer! We had pickles like lightly pickled long potatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and eggplant, then we tried their famous seared dish which was amazing. I personally enjoyed some soft drinks. We also had dishes like sand liver, simmered chicken testicles, liver, tender chicken skewers with shiso, duck leg meat, chicken breast, chicken gizzards, and chicken liver. The unique rare taste of the liver was my favorite. We ended the meal with grilled rice balls and grilled rice ball soup. I tried the grilled chicken bowl for the first time and it was fantastic with the bright yellow egg yolk. I will definitely order it again next time. The service was quick since we reserved for 5 pm, which was great. The place has expanded and changed, but I still prefer this one. I might have a bit of a sore butt from the seating, but I will definitely come back. I heard that the price will increase to 7,700 yen from April onwards.

Tonight, I visited to celebrate my senior colleague's achievement of being ranked No. 1 in the country. This restaurant has multiple locations, with one specializing in charcoal grilling and the other using electric grills. This particular location specializes in charcoal grilling. The skewers we were served were perfectly cooked and we had a wonderful celebration. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will definitely be back again.

I visited with my wife after making a reservation. The restaurant was a bit difficult to find as it was tucked away in an alley. The atmosphere of the restaurant had a simple feel with exposed brick walls, giving off a traditional yakitori place vibe. We started with some chicken sashimi and ended with a yakitori rice bowl, trying about 15 different skewers in total and leaving us completely satisfied. Each skewer was delicious. The best part was the all-you-can-drink alcohol options, with 6 different types of sake alone, including junmai, cloudy sake, wine, and beer. I will definitely visit again.

I had been curious about "Goichi" for a while, but couldn't get a reservation before... So I went for revenge with a friend w We went for the ¥7,000 course with all-you-can-drink. The timing of the delicious yakitori being served was perfect, and the drinks went down smoothly w For the final course, I had yakionigiri ochazuke. I was full and satisfied with the delicious meal~

Today, I visited the Doyama branch of "Goichi" in Osaka Higobashi, which has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. The charm of Goichi lies in its course menu that includes all-you-can-drink. When I visited in 2021, the price was 9,000 yen (now 11,000 yen) for all-you-can-drink beer, sake, shochu, wine, and more. You can enjoy delicious yakitori, including the famous chicken tataki. What's more, the cost performance at this Doyama branch is astonishingly good at 7,000 yen. I made a reservation for a seat at 9:00 PM and visited the restaurant. It is located in a deep nightlife district with bars and adult entertainment venues, giving it a unique atmosphere. The place was lively and cozy, with a great vibe. I started with beer and then enjoyed cold sake. Here is what I had: - Assorted pickles: Turnips, eggplants, cucumbers, broccoli, and nagaimo (Japanese yam). It had a strong salty flavor that paired well with beer. - Chicken tataki: A specialty of Goichi, perfectly prepared and delicious. - Chicken skewers: Various cuts of chicken skewered and served with mustard and sansho pepper. - Chicken parts: Liver, heart, gizzard, and more, all cooked to perfection. - Grilled rice balls: I chose the rice bowl with grilled chicken breast and egg yolk, which was sweet and savory. - Chicken soup: A rich and flavorful chicken broth with a hint of ginger. The restaurant had a capacity of 20 people and had two staff members handling the grilling. The service was a bit slow due to the limited capacity, but the staff were working hard to keep up with the orders. Despite the workload, the hospitality was excellent, and I had a great time. I had three beers and four cold sakes, and the total bill was only 7,000 yen, which was incredibly cost-effective. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

Location: 3, Atmosphere: 4, Taste: 5, Service: 3.8 I wanted to visit the Higobashi location because it was close to my house, but I couldn't get a reservation over the phone, so I couldn't go. However, my husband found a way to make a reservation online, so we visited the Doyama location instead. My husband had told me that it wouldn't be as fancy as the Higobashi location, but I was surprised to find that it was actually quite stylish. It was not what I expected from a yakitori restaurant, with its cute interior and even the restroom was adorable. The food was outstanding, especially the tataki and tamahimo. The perfect balance of salt and grilling made the chicken broth come out with every bite, and I was thrilled throughout the meal. The chefs were so focused on grilling each skewer that I couldn't help but drunkenly comment on how much juice was coming out of the meat. For dessert, we ordered the chicken bowl and grilled rice balls, and the chicken soup that came with them was incredibly delicious. We were told we could make ochazuke with it, but we didn't order it this time. Next time, we'll definitely try the ochazuke. (I forgot about the soup)

I have always wanted to try "Goichi" restaurant. Previously, it was only a single store at this location, but now the main store of Goichi is in Higo Bridge (difficult to make a reservation), and this Doyama store and Nishi-Temma store are branch stores. I called this Doyama store about two weeks ago, and although some slots were already filled, I managed to make a reservation. The Doyama store here is different from the main store in terms of menu (chicken dishes and pricing), and it comes with a yakitori course and all-you-can-drink for 7,000 yen per person. The restaurant mainly consists of a wooden counter (wooden bench seats) and two small 4-seater table seats (round wooden chairs). Unlike cheap yakitori restaurants, Goichi is a high-quality yakitori restaurant with a reputation for taste, so I was already impressed even before going there for 7,000 yen with all-you-can-drink. However, I was also satisfied after visiting. Despite being all-you-can-drink, I had the impression that Goichi was a more high-end place, but it was not too casual or too formal. The course content, where you can enjoy delicious yakitori with all-you-can-drink, the friendly staff, the wide range of age groups of customers, and the overall atmosphere made it a very comfortable and highly satisfying restaurant. For me, this is exactly what a good restaurant is. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal!
