Today I am alone so I had a quick lunch at the food court. It's my first time here. I visited on a weekday at 2pm and the food court is empty. I ordered the "Hamburg Special Plate". It was served in less than 10 minutes. The hamburger was small but fluffy. The shrimp fry was a bit large. The crab cream croquette had a crispy coating and a creamy, buttery filling. The sauce on top of them was delicious. The potatoes were just average, felt like they were just there to fill up the plate. The taste was good but for the price, the portion was a bit lacking.

It was lunchtime at Nitori Mall. I was in a hurry, so I quickly looked for a place in the food court. There are 10 restaurants in the Nitori Mall food court. On the other hand, there are only 7 restaurants in the Kuzuha Mall, so it seems they are renovating this spring to compensate. I spotted a place I didn't know, which reminded me of a salad shop in Kyoto called Sancho Kawaramachi Honten. They mainly serve Western food, which is unusual for a food court. I chose the Chicken Cutlet Curry for 828 yen (tax included). When my order was ready, I couldn't help but feel like Yusaku Matsuda (^_^;) The portion was smaller than I expected for the price. The Chicken Cutlet came in 4 pieces, with an average thickness, but on the smaller side. The curry sauce was mildly spicy, leaning towards medium heat. It wasn't spicy enough for me, but it's made to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Next time, I want to try lunch at Lanchosu Uji Honten.

I knew there was a restaurant in the food court at Nitori Mall in Hirakata, but this was my first visit. I tried the Hamburg DX Plate for 1,089 yen. The dish was nicely presented, but the taste was just average. Fried dishes really make a difference. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I came here. This Western-style restaurant is located on the 2nd floor food court of the local "Nitori Mall Hirakata store". It seems like it was opened relatively recently, but it's actually been 5 years already. I arrived exactly at 12 o'clock and the clean and spacious seating area was about 30% full. It is run by two women. The menu mainly consists of one-plate lunches combining "hamburgers, fried dishes, curry, drinks," and there are not many options. I ordered the "Chicken Cutlet Curry" and received a buzzer to pick up my order a few minutes later. The curry sprinkled with parsley had all the ingredients melted in, with a slightly sweet European-style taste that caters to everyone from children to the elderly. The chicken cutlet seemed to be fried after the order was placed, so it wasn't very juicy, but the light and crispy coating was hot and fresh. It was a bit disappointing that the rice was a bit sticky. I finished soon and returned the tray to the return counter. In terms of cost performance, it may not be the best for a food court. I wish they would provide some spicy seasoning for the curry. The service was good. Thank you for the meal. Unique perspective: Wheelchair accessible, separate male and female toilets on the floor, plenty of free parking available.

I stopped by after shopping. The food court had fancy presentation that caught my eye. I ordered the Double Chicken Katsu with Sweet Chili Sauce set because there was a photo. The katsu was generous in size, making it a good deal. The sweet chili sauce was quite spicy! I wished there was more rice. Thank you for the meal!

I went shopping for winter supplies and decided to have lunch as well. I was torn between seafood bowl, ramen, champon, meat, and hamburger, but I finally made my choice. I love Western-style lunches like A lunch or B lunch, so I chose the Deluxe Hamburger. It came with hamburger, shrimp fry, chicken cutlet, and cream croquette. They even gave me tartar sauce for free. It was all served on one plate and looked cute. The portion was generous too. It cost 980 yen, which felt like a great deal. I love this demi-glace sauce. The cream croquette was too hot though. Please note that I think the chicken cutlet being too hot was not the restaurant's fault. I just discovered that I don't like it for some reason, even though I love fried chicken. But overall, it was delicious. I will definitely come back.

After shopping, I went to the food court and had the Tartar Deluxe. The cream croquette was delicious. The salad that came with the plate was also tasty.

At Uji Honten, Momo, Ryuo, and Ace Square, I enjoy eating at various restaurants. Each place has unique dishes, allows for unlimited rice and soup refills, and includes delicious desserts. I recently tried the food court's lunch set for the first time and was very satisfied with the reasonable price and generous portions. I was also happy to find that the 900 yen set was discounted to 850 yen.

Visited on January 6th for lunch after Hatsumode at Ishizumi Hachimangu Shrine, then went shopping at "Hatsu Nitori Mall". Had lunch at this restaurant in the food court. The prices were reasonable, almost all items were under 1000 yen including tax, and the portions were quite generous. The taste was normal and easy to eat. The food court was not crowded during lunchtime, making it easy to use. Overall, it seemed like a good food court with many shops worth visiting. However, as an older lady, I found "Nitori Mall" itself to be too large and confusing to navigate due to the limited number of stores.

I went shopping at Nitori Mall and decided to have lunch at the spacious food court. I visited about 6 different restaurants in the Nitori food court, but there were still a few that I hadn't tried. Among them, I decided to try Ranchoru Kitchen, which has its main store in Uji. I remember going to Ranchoru at Aeon Kuyama store, but this was my first time at the Nitori Mall store. Their main dishes are Western cuisine plates mainly featuring hamburgers and chicken cutlets. This time, I ordered the "Double Chicken Cutlet with Creamy Chili Sauce Plate" which was a limited edition for their anniversary. I was given a wireless chime, and after waiting at my table for a few minutes, I was called to pick up my order! When I went to get it, the wooden tray had a large chicken cutlet with salad and a rice ball on the plate, all covered with their special chili sauce. Carefully carrying it to my table so as not to spill, I started eating! I thought the chili sauce would be a bit spicy, but it was mostly sweet and tangy with a tomato flavor, which went well with the rice. The chicken cutlet was large and satisfying to eat, but it was slightly overcooked and a bit crispy. However, when mixed with the generous chili sauce, the crispy cutlet surprisingly complemented the dish well, and it turned out to be quite delicious! I opted for a regular portion of the rice ball, but I think I should have gone for a large one in hindsight. The side salad and potatoes were tasty, with the red beet slices adding a nice touch of color. Initially, I thought the portion of rice was small, but the large chicken cutlet filled me up nicely. With the variety of sauces available for the hamburgers and chicken cutlets, I might get tired of it after a few visits, but it was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I didn't really want to come all the way to this Nitori, but I came here because of my wife's request. Before shopping, we went to the second floor food court for lunch. I was interested in the one-plate Western meal, so I approached it... Oh, they have curry! So I ordered the "Curry Special (780 yen excluding tax)" (laughs). The regular curry is 480 yen and quite reasonable. The special comes with chicken cutlet, crab cream croquette, and fried potatoes on top of the curry. The curry itself was sweet at first and ended up sweet as well. It's not very spicy, suitable even for children. In terms of portion size, I was satisfied, but in terms of taste, it was just okay.

I went to the newly opened food court in the mall, which was having a curry event that day. I decided to try the famous lunch curry shop, Rancho, in Uji. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry. The katsu was crispy and delicious, but the curry sauce was on the sweeter side with a milky aftertaste. It wasn't bad, but it seemed like a curry that would appeal more to families or children. It's a solid curry rice that everyone can enjoy, but for someone looking for more excitement, it might not be the best choice.

I visited the newly opened Nitori Mall Hirakata store at the R2 Hirakata Industrial Park intersection on April 20th for market research. I used to visit Nitori a lot when I lived in Sapporo, as it is a company from Hokkaido. The founder's name is Nitori, so the store has a cute name. I had lunch at a Western-style restaurant in the food court around 2 pm. It is a sister store of Ranchos, which has its main store in Uji. They offer 15 menu items, including one-plate Western dishes and individual items. I chose the Double Chicken Cutlet with Demi-Glace Sauce for 690 yen (excluding tax), which came to 745 yen including tax. Although the tartar sauce was recommended, I chose the Demi-Glace sauce based on my mood. I was given a buzzer and waited for my order. The one-plate dish was compact and well put together. The salad with delicious dressing was a bit small, and the chicken cutlet was thick and tender, almost like a mille-feuille. The sauce, although not very rich, had a good flavor and was generously poured. The rice portion might be more suitable for women as it was a bit small for me. I almost considered getting a seafood bowl at the seafood restaurant in front of me, but I decided against it. When I asked for permission to take photos of the menu, they kindly presented the menu in front of the camera and graciously collected the tray when returning it. It was a pleasant experience. The casual and affordable one-plate lunch is convenient and reasonably priced. April 21, 2016
