- Hot Dog with Okinawan Sausage, 300 yen
- After eating at "Udon Kyutaro" in the morning, I decided to have one while on the move. I was drawn by the sign saying "Baked and sold immediately!" and chose this one!
- The crispy exterior and chewy bread inside are delicious! The thick Okinawan sausage is a perfect match. It's juicy but not too fatty, making it easy to eat. The balance between the sausage and the bread is just right!
- The mayonnaise and mustard are not overdone, just the right amount, so it's satisfying to eat without feeling heavy. Thank you for the meal!

Located a few dozen meters up the elevator from exit 5B of Higobashi Station, this shop stands out with its yellow building and red awning. I arrived at the shop on a weekday at 14:58 and found a decent selection of items, although some were already sold out. The tea cream bun for 162 yen was particularly delicious, with a perfect balance of Earl Grey flavor. The mini mochi bun for 162 yen had a nice sugar-coated, chewy texture. I also tried the pineapple Danish for 216 yen, which had plenty of sweet and sour pineapple pieces on top. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I used takeout service! I purchased a hazelnut chocolate croissant and a cream puff! I bought them during the day and ate them at night, but they were still delicious even after some time had passed! The cream puff was so rich with cream that I had to use a spatula to eat it! The hazelnut chocolate croissant had large nuts in it, and it was very delicious!

I purchased some delicious and reasonably priced bread from Boulangerie Takagi, located right by Higobashi Station in Osaka. I bought three items for a total of 551 yen, which is the same as the number of Osaka's famous pork buns. On my way to Miyajima, where Itsukushima Shrine is located in Hiroshima Prefecture, I enjoyed the bread I bought the day before at Boulangerie Takagi with a cup of coffee for a morning snack. Upon arriving at Iizaki Station at 10:45, I transferred to a stylish and functional train operated by JR Kyushu. I had some time before the train departed at 10:53, so I finally had my morning snack. The Seagle Fruity bread with berries for 160 yen was excellent and delicious. I also had a Bacon Epi-style French bread for 230 yen, a natural yeast salt bread for 120 yen, and with the 8% consumption tax, the total came to 551 yen, which was a nice way to end the snack time at Horaizan.

Higobashi Station was close to the restaurant and there wasn't much of a line, so it was easy to get there! As someone who doesn't prefer hard bread, I found the variety of deli-style options appealing. The cheese bread in the photo was delicious, freshly made and tasty! Although I didn't include a photo, the best item was the cream bread from the sign, it was so good that it's worth going just for that.

Cream Pan ¥250 + tax
Smoked Salmon and Avocado Burger ¥420 + tax
Black Tea Cream Pan ¥150 + tax
I felt that the cream pan was a bit lacking in richness, but it may be good for those who prefer a lighter bread. The burger is very filling and one is enough to make you feel full.

This is a bakery located near Higobashi Station, which is one of the top 100 stores in 2022. I went there early in the morning, but the popular cream puff mentioned on the sign was already sold out. They may have baked more later, but I had other plans so I gave up. I ended up getting a milk tea, which seemed like a good match for their red tea cream puff priced at 150 yen and honey toast at 180 yen. The red tea cream puff is filled with cream made from Earl Grey tea leaves and the honey toast is made with thick slices of bread topped with honey butter. They offer a variety of delicious bread options.

I arrived too early in the morning and the store was still closed when I got there. I wandered around for a while to pass the time. When I went back as soon as the store opened, there were already about two groups of customers ahead of me. Even though it just opened, it's really a popular place. Inside the store, about 60% to 70% of the bread was displayed. They all looked delicious and I was wandering around trying to decide, but new bread kept coming out hot. So I ended up getting four types of sandwiches with ham, tuna, scallops, etc., a bacon and cheese bread, and a freshly made cream puff. I forgot to take a picture, but everything was delicious. The four types of sandwiches had plenty of spicy mustard mayonnaise and crunchy watercress. The scallops seemed to be grilled, giving them a fragrant taste that paired well with the watercress. The custard in the cream puff was thick and delicious. The bacon and cheese bread had plenty of filling too! It was all so delicious. I'm full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the popular bakery "Boulangerie Takagi" in Higobashi with a rating of 3.76 on Tabelog ☺️ It's always crowded because it's a famous shop. They have a wide variety of reasonably priced bread, so it's hard to choose. Bread has evolved a lot recently, with even stewed bread being available. But that might be too difficult. The regular cream bread is already so rich that it's almost like a custard bread. However, it's not too heavy. I should have bought more. If you give the fluffy bread to Anpanman, I think he'll become super strong. It's fun to search for delicious food, although there are occasional disappointments. Please note that business hours, prices, and menu items may change.

I visited after several years. Last time I came, there was a bread boom and I had to line up early in the morning, but now it's relatively calm. I was able to get in right away, but the store quickly filled up while I was choosing. The popularity seems to continue. There are many delicious-looking breads lined up, so it's hard to choose. The bakery opened at 8 o'clock, and even though it was a little early, there were already people finishing their purchases and leaving. I bought a pineapple and cherry pie pastry, a croissant with ham sandwiched inside, and a mini-sized mochi bread. The three pieces of mochi bread were really chewy and delicious.

Visited the store around 8:30 after errands nearby. There was one customer inside. Cream Pan - Smile series cream pan with a slightly burnt taste. Red tea cream pan - The red tea was strong and very delicious. Chewy croissant - Excellent, a must-buy every time. Cream cheese French toast (might have a different name) and cream sandwich coppe pan (also might have a different name) - Very simple but incredibly delicious! Purchased them. It was just after opening, so it felt like they hadn't fully stocked yet, but there was still a wide variety to choose from. The prices were very reasonable, and I think it's a shop I'd like to have in the neighborhood. I'd like to try their side dishes next time. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited this bakery. It was just before 11 am on a weekday, and they had a good selection of bread. There were always 2-3 customers in the shop, so it seems quite popular. This time, I bought this bread:
- Tartine with dry salted bacon and Kumamoto lotus root (281 yen including tax)
A tartine made with thinly sliced French bread topped with dry salted bacon, sliced lotus root, cheese, etc. The combination of the savory bacon, crispy lotus root, and melty cheese is perfect! The base French bread is thin, crispy, and crunchy, making it a great snack too. It was delicious. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I visited my favorite bakery, "Pistache," in the morning and was lucky to find it not too crowded. I had two Pistache pastries, a Hazelnut and Pistachio cinnamon roll, and their famous cream bread. The Pistache pastries were different this time, with a softer texture and a cheesy pistachio flavor, but still delicious. Overall, it was a great breakfast experience. Rating: 3.76 out of 5.

Charingo Bun and got off halfway✨️ Before returning to the office, I had delicious bread... Ham, egg, and cheese dog for 330 yen, and cream-filled tea bread for 150 yen. The Ham Egg Dog is packed with ingredients! The bread is moist and chewy with a good amount of filling. Every bite is full of ingredients, so there are no bad parts! The egg yolk is rich and the ham is thick and moist (ᵔOᵔ) Delicious! The cream-filled tea bread has a hint of Earl Grey and is not too sweet. The creamy base is thick and delicious, and the jiggly cream is a delight to savor. It was even more delicious when paired with tea✨️ A delicious detour with a tasty lunchtime bread while working☀️ Another delicious lunchtime with Lilou and Happy✨️ Bon appétit!

On this day, I was busy with work in Yodoyabashi and didn't have time to have a leisurely lunch. However, I happened to pass by "Boulangerie Takagi," a popular bakery in the city. Normally, it's crowded with businessmen during weekdays, making it difficult to visit. But on this Saturday, and at an off-peak time, I took the opportunity to stop by. Inside the store, I saw a variety of delicious-looking bread. There were unique breads that I had never seen before, making it hard to choose. After much deliberation, I bought the "Weisswurst Cheese Curry Hot Dog (346 yen including tax)" and the "Smoked Salmon and Avocado Burger (Cream Cheese) (454 yen including tax)." The hot dog had a satisfying crunch from the hard bread, and it was delicious. The smoked salmon and avocado burger had a creamy texture and was perfect for adults. There were many deli-style breads that adults would enjoy, which explains why this bakery is so popular. Thank you for the meal!

Blancherita Takagi was visited for the first time on a bread tour, but unfortunately, there were almost no options available due to the timing. It was disappointing. So, I ended up buying a baguette to eat later. It was extremely hard and heavy, but it filled me up, so it was definitely worth it!

I went to the area near Higo Bridge and bought a Hazelnut Chocolate pastry as a snack at Boulangerie Takagi. All the breads there are reasonably priced and have a wide variety. The croissant has hazelnuts in the middle, with a fluffy texture and a chocolate bar inside. The sweetness of the chocolate is accentuated by the hazelnuts, giving a unique texture to the chocolate croissant. It is an interesting croissant different from other chocolate croissants.

This is a bakery located a 3-minute walk from Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Line. When I visited on a weekday evening, despite the bad weather, there were only about 5 types of bread left, showing its popularity. The shop is small and only sells takeout. The chewy mochi mochi bread (249 yen) uses rice flour and is so big that it doesn't fit in your palm. The fluffy dough is sweetened with powdered sugar on the surface, and the rice flour gives the dough a deep, sweet flavor. The Croissant au Beurre (195 yen) got flattened accidentally on the way back, but it still had a crispy texture and a rich buttery taste. Although the selection was limited this time, I would like to try other varieties if I have the chance.

Located in the Higo Bridge area, this bakery is known for its wide variety of bread, including order-made sausages and green onion focaccia. The shop is small and has a cozy atmosphere that feels welcoming. The bread is all delicious, and you'll definitely want to come back for more. The prices are reasonable, and each bread is a good size. The savory bread in the showcase, especially the baguette-style ones, are very filling. Despite being in the city, it has a nostalgic feel that makes it a charming bakery.
