In the downtown area, there is a Western-style restaurant! I saw a signboard for their 100-hour curry outside and decided to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant has a cafe-like atmosphere with counter and table seating, and smoking is allowed. I visited a little after 2 pm and there were about 3 groups of customers. I sat at the empty counter seat and ordered the 100-hour curry! The curry arrived in less than 10 minutes. It may look simple, but it is very flavorful and delicious! The large pieces of meat are tender because they have been stewed well. The curry is quite spicy and you can also taste the sweetness of the meat and ingredients. While spiced curry is tasty, this one has a unique Western-style flavor that is also delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant with a sign saying "100-hour curry" caught my attention. During the day, many people use it as a cafe, and all seats allow smoking. I was a bit worried since it was getting late, but before I knew it, it was full. Everyone seemed to be looking for a smoking area, as they were all smokers, so if you are not a fan of smoking, be cautious. The "100-hour curry" is a spicy Western-style curry. It had chunks of meat in it, but it's mostly curry with little ingredients. It's rich in meat flavor, with a peppery, mature taste. Today, I had the omu curry, so I had it with an egg. Since it's spicy, adding cheese or egg might make it milder. The portion size was decent, and it came with a salad. After the meal, I also had a mango shaved ice. The frozen mango on top of the shaved ice was fluffy. There was sauce inside, making the ice hard to melt, and it was delicious until the end.

I came across an outdoor sign for a restaurant called "100 Hour Curry" while walking down a back alley in Senba. The name sounded familiar, so I decided to check it out. The interior of the restaurant had a trendy cafe vibe, with sofa seating and a counter, but it wasn't very spacious. Although they offered a variety of light meals besides curry, I decided to try their curry. Worried that the lunch portion might be small, I ordered a large serving. The curry had a nice level of spiciness, not just a simple increase in heat from adding chili. The flavor was good, but ordering the large serving was a mistake as the rice portion was too much compared to the curry. I think it's better to have a slightly more curry than rice. Also, please note that it is a smoking-permitted establishment.

I was lured in by the sign for curry and decided to visit. The 100-hour curry caught my eye! The chicken cutlet curry also looked good! However, they were sold out of cutlet curry so I ended up getting omelette curry instead! My companion had the crab cream omelette rice. The omelette curry had delicious sauce, exceeding my expectations! It seems to have a strong garlic flavor, so be careful of bad breath! The crab cream omelette rice was also delicious and safe choice! I recommend the curry over the omelette rice! Thank you for the meal!

Located about a 7-minute walk from Honcho Station, "Sold Mare" catches the eye with its sign advertising the 100-hour curry. When I visited in the early afternoon, the counter was filled with salarymen, and most of the two-person tables were almost full. A customer who came after me had to leave because there was no space. I felt sorry for them. The interior is cozy and relaxing with a country-style decor. It's quite small, fitting around 20 people. One of the two-person tables had a sofa, which was really comfortable. It felt like being at home. The menu featured the legendary 100-hour curry, but as someone who can't handle spicy food, I didn't have the courage to order it as it was marked "spicy!" Pork belly also caught my eye, but it was already sold out, and it was only 12:10! It must be a very popular dish. So, I ended up choosing the crab cream sauce omelette rice with salad and a drink for 950 yen. The salad consisted of fresh leaves with just olive oil, salt, and pepper, which I quite liked. I waited about 20 minutes for the omelette rice. When it arrived, the bright orange sauce and rich egg color made it look high-quality. When I cut into it, I was surprised to find white rice. I thought it would be ketchup rice, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The sauce was perfect – very crab-flavored, almost like the crab pasta sauce from a famous Italian restaurant. It was full of umami and had the texture of crab meat. This omelette rice was definitely meant to be eaten with white rice. I even thought about buying just the sauce to take home and eat it with white rice. After the meal, I had coffee in a stylish Japanese-style teacup. It had a good aroma, almost like aroma coffee, and was smooth with hardly any bitterness. It was so calming. I felt very satisfied overall. However, since I ordered at 12:15 and the food arrived at 12:35, this place might only be suitable for those who have time during their lunch break. I definitely want to come back to try other menu items when I have more time.

I went to Osaka for work and was looking for a place to have lunch around Osaka Hommachi area. I came across a curry restaurant with a signboard that caught my eye. The restaurant was called Cafe Sole de Mare. I remembered having eaten omurice here before. The interior had a large sofa and was a relaxing space. Since I was the only customer at that time, I sat at the counter. I ordered the legendary 100-hour curry, priced at 700 yen. The menu mentioned that it was "spicy," but when I asked, they said it wasn't extremely spicy, so I decided to try it. The curry had a rich flavor with lots of onions. The meat seemed to have melted into the curry, but I personally prefer a bit more texture in the meat. The spiciness came later, but it was just right for me. I have been eating less lately, so the amount of rice was just right for me. Overall, it was a delicious curry at an affordable price.

I had passed by "Sole de Mare" in Honcho before, which looked like a casual cafe, but this was my first visit. [Ordered Items] - Ketchup Omurice: 750 yen The appearance of the omurice was normal, with the egg slightly firm. The taste was quite ordinary.

One weekend, I decided to wander around Minami Senba on my bicycle. I stumbled upon a cafe-like shop called Sole de Mare. The lunch menu included options like stewed hamburger, pork belly rice bowl, and a curry called 100-hour curry. I opted for the stewed hamburger and was served a set meal with seaweed soup, rice, and the main dish of stewed hamburger. The hamburger was tender and flavorful, with a good balance of acidity and richness in the sauce. The seaweed soup was unexpectedly hot and comforting. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience.

I visited this place alone around 2:00 pm on a weekday in April 2015. It was raining quite heavily that day, and I didn't feel like going far, so I decided to visit this place that I had been eyeing for a while for such occasions. There were about three other customers, all of whom were smoking, which was a bit tough for me as I don't like smoke. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed appealing to couples and female customers. The presence of sofa seats also seemed attractive for those who want to relax. I was torn between ordering the braised pork rice bowl or the omelette rice, but since I hadn't had braised pork in a long time, I went with the braised pork rice bowl. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. It had plenty of rice with sauce poured over it, topped with tender and well-seasoned braised pork. You could eat the rice soaked in sauce on its own or together with the braised pork. It was a delicious braised pork rice bowl. It would have been even better if there were pickles or miso soup on the side. I wouldn't mind paying extra for them. Non-smokers should be aware that this place may not be suitable for them. But for smokers, I think it's a great environment, so I recommend it. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at SoledeMare in Osaka, Honmachi. I stumbled upon it while walking. It looked like a cafe for girls, but I decided to give it a try. I had the pork belly bowl (600 yen), which was quite surprising for a cafe. I wonder if girls actually eat this here? The dish arrived relatively quickly. The portion was a bit small, but it looked delicious. The pork belly was tasty and not too heavy, although there was a bit too much sauce on the rice. The container for the yuzu pepper was a bit hard to open. The menu caught my eye, especially the curry, but I ended up choosing the pork belly bowl. The restaurant has a girly and couple-friendly atmosphere.
