Visited on a Friday at 10 PM, the restaurant was almost full but we were able to enter without waiting. It seems that there are often long waits, even late at night or early in the morning, due to its location. According to my records on Tabelog, it seems like the last time I visited was eight years ago when I first came to Osaka. It was a memorable experience. Since then, I have been coming to Osaka for work often, but there are so many other restaurants I want to try that I haven't had a chance to revisit. The taste was just as I remembered it, delicious. The service was a bit slow, perhaps due to the crowd or their attention to detail. Originating from Himeji but serving Hakata-style ramen, the flavor is similar to Kyoto's famous ramen chain, Tenka Ippin. Despite facing competition from various regional ramen shops, I hope they expand to Tokyo. After opening two locations in Kabukicho and Sagamihara, I haven't heard much about their expansion. I think they could definitely compete well in Tokyo.

It was a very hot day when I visited. The ramen was delicious. As someone from Kyushu, I liked the rich flavor and the free toppings like pickled vegetables, red ginger, and sesame seeds brought back memories of eating in Kyushu. The inside of the restaurant was very steamy and uncomfortable, so I would like to ask for improvements in the environment. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen Zundoya Shinsaibashi Store [1 Chome Shinsaibashi-suji, Chuo-ku, Osaka City] A 24-hour Zundoya restaurant located in Osaka's entertainment district Shinsaibashi. It has slightly higher ratings compared to other stores, which intrigued me to investigate further. Upon arrival, I purchased a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine and wrote my name on the waiting list. The staff, mostly from Asia, assisted me throughout. I ordered the Ajitama Ramen (regular size, thin noodles, normal amount of back fat, extra firm) for 1050 yen, with an additional 150 yen for green onions. The service was quick, and the extremely thin, extra firm noodles were a delight to slurp. The normal amount of back fat and the unique soup made the experience different from what I expected. This was my second bowl of ramen for the day, but it went down smoothly. The unconventional charm of Zundoya lies in its roughness and casual atmosphere. The door at the entrance was quite heavy to open. The restaurant operates on a pre-payment system, accepting only cash, including 10,000 yen bills. I visited the 24-hour ramen restaurant called Raamen Zundouya Shinsaibashi located along Suoumachi Street. It is a shop originating from Himeji known for its Himeji pork fat tonkotsu ramen. I had the original flavor ramen in a large serving. You can customize it by adding special pickled greens, grated garlic, sesame, etc. It was delicious.

When the desired restaurant was full and I was about to become a lunch refugee, I found an affordable ramen shop for the first time for lunch. It seems to be a Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen originating from Himeji. I ordered the C set for 1220 yen, which was a ramen with flavored egg and karaage set, but it was a bit pricey. The ramen was very thick and rich, with a lot of back fat that reminded me of Kyoto. I thought it might be a bit too heavy, but the flavor was surprisingly good without any strong peculiarities. However, the chances of finding a taste that suits my preference in a spur-of-the-moment restaurant are low. Well, it doesn't really matter. Thank you for the meal.

This shop is open 24 hours, so it's very convenient! The flavor is based on pork bone, but you don't really feel the pork bone smell. The noodles in the ramen are thin, and you can taste different flavors by adding toppings like pickled vegetables. Younger people may like this level of richness, but older people might find it too strong! You can request extra lard and other toppings, so don't forget to check! Personally, I also like the fried chicken because it's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I added plenty of grated garlic for cold prevention!

Zundoya, with its main store in Himeji! This time, I visited the Shinsaibashi store! Be prepared for long lines during lunchtime, ordered the Ajitama (flavored egg) and Negi (green onion) ramen!! The rich soup is irresistible. The thin noodles coated in the rich soup create a taste that you can't stop eating!! Today, I went to Zundoya for lunch with my junior. It was past 11 o'clock so we were able to go in without waiting in line. Usually, there is always a line, so it was convenient! We bought meal tickets outside and entered. I wanted to get the half portion, but... It's been a while since I last came, and it seems like the prices have gone up. The government should do something like reducing the consumption tax by half, or come up with some decent policies. It's clear that citizens are facing a tough life with such high prices. I was thinking about these things when our orders arrived! I ordered the noodles with extra back fat, firm noodles, and a boiled egg as usual. First, I tried the soup. It's advertised as rich tonkotsu flavor, but personally, I didn't find it that rich. It's not light either, just the right amount of richness, and quite tasty! The noodles were firm and good! I don't mind the pork slices, and the egg was normal (laughs). The pickled mustard greens are all-you-can-eat! I don't eat them though (*´з`) Thank you for the meal!

Today is Saturday. Where should we have lunch? I decided to take a leisurely bike ride from Nagahoribashi towards Shinsaibashi. I was in the mood for ramen, so I headed to Zundoya in Suofucho. The restaurant has a large lantern and a deep entrance. The menu includes options like ramen with flavored egg, basic ramen, ramen with all toppings, spicy ramen with habanero, hot ramen with flavored egg, vegetable ramen, butter corn ramen, green onion ramen, and pork ramen. They also offer fried rice, garlic fried rice, Gyoza, and more. I chose the ramen with flavored egg and rice. Inside, I was seated at a long counter on the right side. After a short wait, I was served a small bowl of rice followed by the ramen. The red bowl was shallow with two slices of pork, seaweed, green onions, and a flavored egg. The soup had a creamy texture similar to Kyushu style ramen, with a strong pork bone base. However, the saltiness gradually intensified as I continued eating. The noodles were standard thickness and firm, providing a good chew. The pork slices were average in size and thickness. The seaweed, green onions, and flavored egg complemented the dish well. The side pickled vegetables added a nice kick to the meal. Overall, the ramen was satisfying, especially as a post-drinking meal due to its increasing saltiness. The variety of flavors in ramen soup makes it a complex dish. After finishing the meal, I felt full and satisfied.

I ordered the usual ramen with flavored egg. You can choose thin noodles or wavy noodles. You can also choose from rich, normal, or light broth. This time, I ordered normal, thin noodles, and extra firm. It's nice to have pickled vegetables on the table. They also offer red pickled ginger, sesame, and spicy miso. The shop seems to be from Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, not from Hakata as I thought. The soup doesn't have a strong pork bone smell or taste, but the pork bone flavor is definitely there. The creamy soup, rich pork fat, and thin straight noodles go down smoothly. The staff are energetic and provide good service! The fried rice was dry last time, but this time it was moist. It may not be consistent, but the taste is solid and delicious. The chashu is tender and just right. I was born in Hakata and grew up there, and even now, I still look for pork bone ramen as a way to finish a night of drinking. Zundoya is open late and has consistent taste, so I tend to go there often. It seems like it could be a hit even in Hakata. In Minami, it's the ramen shop I go to most after Ichiran. In my early thirties, I never experienced indigestion or heartburn, but in recent years, I have. At that time (late at night), I'm completely satisfied, but the next day I have indigestion. But it's the path I chose (eating ramen as a finisher), so I have no regrets! Even though I had delicious crab at the first restaurant, at the end of the day, I still think the ramen was the best. I'm a bit tipsy. Today, I finished it all, so my throat is dry and I'm drinking water to fill my stomach. I'm full and satisfied again today!

I have been going to "Zundo-ya" in Shinsaibashi for 8 years since I lived in Kansai. If you choose "mamire" for the amount of back fat, it becomes really greasy, but that's what makes it delicious and why I like it. This time, I had the Negi Ramen, which had a large amount of green onions. The soup almost becomes all green onions, so it's great for people who love green onions. They also pay attention to the takana (pickled mustard greens) here, and it's slightly spicy and delicious. Personally, I like the Himeji branch the best. I visited the restaurant around noon with my friend. It was a bit crowded but we were able to get a table. I ordered the classic ramen. The soup had a nice sweetness and a smooth finish. It seemed rich but surprisingly light. The noodles were thin and a bit soft, so maybe they would have been better if they were firmer. However, they paired well with the soup and I enjoyed it. I recommend everyone to visit this place!

The Zundoya Shinsaibashi store, which used to have a long wait, was easy to get into without waiting at all. There weren't many people around, so I decided to just have a little bit for dinner after eating a lot during the day. Instead of ramen, I ordered fried rice only. Oh man, it was delicious! Exactly the taste I wanted. Even though it's a ramen shop, I think it's great that they also offer fried rice for when you just want that.

The front of the store is so spacious that it looks like another shop could fit in. I heard it was quite crowded, but is the line for that reason? However, since there is a roof, customers seem to gather even in the rain. I went to the store at 8:30 PM, but there were no people at all, so I thought it might be closed, but they were only doing takeout (late October). It's better than waiting in line. There is a touch panel ticket machine next to the entrance. You can also purchase food tickets for takeout here. - Cooked flavored egg ramen (800 yen) - Gyoza for one person (350 yen) I originally planned to just have ramen, but when I saw buttons with pictures of fried chicken and gyoza on the side, I couldn't help but press them. I was hungry. The soup was wrapped a lot, probably to prevent spills. It's nice to have this kind of consideration! The gyoza was also wrapped, so the smell didn't escape. Inside the soup, there were chopped green onions. On the plate, there were noodles, 2 slices of chashu, 1 half-cut flavored egg, pickled mustard greens, and 1 sheet of seaweed (in a bag). I tried a bite of the pickled mustard greens before putting them on, but they were too spicy for me (T-T). The flavored egg had a runny yolk. The chashu was a good size, tender with a firm texture and a good amount of fat, which I like. The thin noodles were a bit tangled, so I ate them while untangling them with the soup, but thin noodles disappear quickly, don't they? The gyoza was simply delicious. It goes well with beer. Next time, I want to drink beer at the store while eating ramen.

I didn't think this restaurant had many limited-time menu items, but they had a habanero ramen, so I decided to try it for dinner.
