On the second day, I took a short train trip and arrived at Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station before noon. I wanted to return to Hakodate from here, but since both the train and bus had already departed, I had to wait for about an hour. So, I remembered this restaurant and decided to stop by. It was just after opening, so I was seated right away and placed my order. Looking at the menu, I felt like having a drink, but there was no alcohol on the menu! In fact, there were quite a few types of ramen, but only fried rice with five ingredients and dumplings for side dishes. The ramen toppings were almost non-existent. However, the noodle extra portion was free. I ended up ordering salt ramen with dumplings, a very simple combination, for 1,100 yen. If you order dumplings with ramen, you get a 50 yen discount, but since this restaurant had almost no menu items other than ramen, it was inevitable to get something to make it cheaper haha. In that case, they should just sell it at a discounted price (380 yen) instead of deducting 50 yen. As for the taste, it was just okay. A bit salty maybe? The noodles were medium thick and curly. The toppings consisted of a large piece of pork char siu, along with green onions, bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots, just the bare minimum. It seems like they really stick to the bare minimum here. The dumplings were juicy and quite large, providing a satisfying bite. I had eaten breakfast earlier, so I wasn't very hungry, but surprisingly, it didn't quite hit the spot haha. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with this meal. Well, I hope everything's alright. Thank you for the meal.
