It's that time of year again, the season for moon-viewing treats. Various limited-time seasonal items are making the gourmet world lively, almost like being on the moon. This year, I went to Komeda Coffee to enjoy their moon-viewing special menu! Autumn is all about Komeda's Full Moon Burger, with fluffy buns, a hefty hamburger patty, cheese, and a runny egg yolk creating a rich and delicious flavor. The pink Southern sauce adds a soft and crisp acidity that perfectly complements the egg and cheese. The combination is so devilishly perfect that I could eat them endlessly. For dessert, I tried the Pumpkin Chiffon Roll, another seasonal moon-viewing treat that I've been wanting to eat forever. The deep sweetness of the pumpkin sauce pairs wonderfully with the hot chiffon roll and ice cream, while the bittersweet caramel sauce adds a luxurious touch. The mix of sweetness, bitterness, hotness, and coldness creates a delightful experience. As always, Komeda's chiffon rolls never disappoint, and I was left speechless by how delicious it was. It was my first time visiting this store! Surprisingly, there were few customers and we were seated right away. It seems to get busy in the mornings. The staff, who seemed to be in training, were working hard despite being inexperienced. I forgot the menu, but somehow managed to order the original dish, which was delicious.

In the midst of the summer heat, I ordered shaved ice at this Komeda Coffee shop. It was past 3 o'clock but the place was packed! Truly a popular spot. There were two sizes of shaved ice available, and I opted for the one with ice cream. It arrived after about 15 minutes of waiting. The mango shaved ice had a nice jasmine fragrance and was delicious. The name was nice too, and the taste was pleasing to the body. Shaved ice is definitely a must-have in the summer.

From past experience, Komeda Coffee Shop usually has two price options for the Komeda Blend, either 480 yen or 500 yen. I had never seen it priced at 540 yen before! Hakata, you're amazing! Sorry for being a man who pays attention to details. The morning set with a loaf of bread, egg paste, and butter is not satisfying at all. I'm sure the calories are zero. The coffee, however, is too delicious. I'll definitely drink it all. Another real-time review complete. Apart from the price, everything is as satisfying as usual at Komeda. That's my routine. I visited "Komeda Coffee Higashi Hakata Station" in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I usually don't post reviews, but whenever I'm in Hakata, I always visit this Komeda. This time, I needed Wi-Fi to fix my iPhone, so I used their services. I tried the limited edition "Shironoir Mochi Uma Purin" which is a collaboration between Komeda Coffee and Chiikawa. It's a custard and caramel flavored rich pudding. It was delicious but somewhat predictable in taste. I also ordered "Komeda Black" which is a bit pricey but my favorite. It has a weak acidity, strong bitterness, and goes best with sweet desserts. A few months ago, they had a limited edition cream soda in five colors: Green (Melon), Blue (Ramune), Yellow (Pineapple), Red (Watermelon), and White (White Peach). I tried the Blue one, which was refreshing and had a good amount of soft serve ice cream. Both the Shironoir and cream soda mentioned above are no longer available as they were limited-time offerings. I hope they bring them back again in the future.

A cozy café where you can relax. The lunch menu is satisfyingly filling. Personally, I wish there was more soft serve on the Shironeko, but the orange-flavored sauce on top complements the chocolate pastry well. I appreciate that they offer a large size coffee. Ordering via QR code is convenient as you can easily see what you've ordered. The versatility of this place makes me want to come back for the seasonal menu.

Last time, I visited the store at the bus terminal, and I was impressed to see that this store was also quite crowded, indicating that many people use it. Like the previous store, this one also has a self-ordering system. I ordered coffee, which came with a free bread. I chose the A set, which came with jam and a boiled egg. The bread was crispy and delicious. You can add butter for an additional 150 yen. The coffee had a nice balance of bitterness and mild acidity, which I liked. I had a meaningful time there. However, since the item I wanted to order was not listed, I ended up ordering in the traditional way. I ordered the "Komeda Black" coffee, which is a coffee specifically made to be enjoyed black with a good aroma and mild bitterness. I also tried the limited edition "Croquembouche Rich Chocolat" which is a new dessert following the popular "Shironoir" at Komeda. It consists of warm Baumkuchen topped with cold soft serve ice cream. The Rich Chocolat version has chocolate sauce on the Baumkuchen, chocolate chips and crushed almonds on the soft serve, and a hidden berry sauce inside the Baumkuchen. The combination of sweetness and a hint of sourness makes it a delicious treat. Please note that the Rich Chocolat is limited in quantity and may sell out quickly. If you're interested, make sure to try it soon.

This time, the catchphrase seems to be "Enjoy coffee straight" with the ★Gold Iced Coffee☆, made with high-quality beans at Komeda. It's like the iced version of their famous Komeda Coffee, maybe? The taste was simply delicious. The glass it came in was nice too! I wonder if it's made of copper? It made the coldness even better! The ★Pure White Noir (limited time only) in mini size☆ had the theme of "white" as the name suggests, and it looked beautiful! It's made with condensed milk, powdered sugar, and honey kneaded into Danish pastry dough. Other than the appearance, it didn't have much impact.

The interior of the shop is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. The smoking section was full, but the non-smoking section had plenty of space available. When I took a bite, the bread was moist and soft. And, as expected, there was plenty of potato salad sandwiched inside. My dear potato salad lover, regardless of the taste, you would be satisfied with the quantity. (laughs) I also ordered coffee separately and enjoyed a relaxing time. Sometimes, Komeda is nice too. Delicious coffee and sandwich, I will visit "Komeda Coffee Shop Hakata Station Higashi Store" again.

When I go to Nagoya, I often use the "Komeda Coffee Higashihakata Station" store! I read an article somewhere that they opened their first store in Aomori, which was a blank spot on the map last June, and now they have conquered the whole country. They are currently the third largest chain in the country. It's great to be able to find Komeda Coffee wherever you go! I tried the "Komeda Black" for the first time, but I wasn't sure how to pronounce it so I just ordered it as "Komeda Kuro." It had a more elegant taste than regular coffee, a bit lighter and easy to drink. I also tried the Mini Shironoir (pudding), a limited-time version of their famous Shironoir. It was pudding this time of year, and it was delicious with soft serve ice cream and caramel sauce. The Danish pastry also had custard cream in it. Thank you for the meal!

I tried going there for the first time. I had some free time in the morning, so I decided to check out Komeda Coffee, which I had been curious about. Even though it was a weekday morning, there were quite a few salarymen there, but the atmosphere was quite relaxed. It's a bit different from cafes like Starbucks. When I ordered coffee, it came with morning toast. Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist getting the set with an extra egg (laughs). I was able to relax for about an hour. Surprisingly, it was really nice. I ended up buying a coffee ticket (laughs).

And to top it off, it also came with fried chicken! The combination of fried chicken and red bean whipped cream was surprisingly delicious!

After finishing a bowl of ramen and some gyoza together, we stopped by Komeda's for a coffee. But ended up getting a limited-time Shiru Noir as well. What was supposed to be just a smoke break turned into a night of completely exceeding the calorie limit. It's no good~ I'm completely letting loose on this business trip.

The location is a bit far from Hakata Station, and I arrived at a time that was too late for the morning menu, but they had a burger set for lunch starting at 11:30, so I ordered a fish burger and a large cafe au lait set. I always end up ordering the large size because I'm frugal, but ironically, it increases the cost. I had forgotten how big the portions are at Komeda. Everything they serve is huge. I thought I was getting a light meal, but it turned out to be a full lunch. Despite being a bit far from Hakata Station, the Komeda Coffee Hakata Higashi store is always crowded.
