This is my first visit in about 2 years. It is located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Kyoto Line Awaji Station. I visited for a solo lunch on a weekday afternoon. I was guided to a table by the staff and ordered the Special Char Siu Banh Mi: 710 yen (tax included) again this time. It was ready in about 10 minutes. This time, I asked for extra spiciness. The difference between the special grilled pork Banh Mi and the regular one is the addition of fried egg and pork ham in the special version. The lunch set for 350 yen included fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, and papaya salad, all of which were delicious. The fresh spring rolls were chewy with glass noodles, while the fried spring rolls were crispy and tasty. The papaya salad had a refreshing sour taste. The variety in the set menu provided a satisfying dining experience. The restaurant also offers a variety of other Vietnamese dishes, and I would like to visit again in the evening to try more. The staff, likely Vietnamese, were friendly and efficient. They were in the kitchen, so I had to call out when placing orders or paying. The menu is extensive, and customers can enjoy a leisurely meal by ordering a little at a time. The customers on the day of my visit were mostly older, which may be due to the location in a shopping street.

For a late lunch on this day, I went to EGAO BANH MI. I was craving Vietnamese food and it had been a year since my last visit. This time, I had the stir-fried vermicelli with grilled pork. I mixed it with the sauce provided and added plenty of cilantro. It was delicious. While eating, I also got a special pork minced banh mi for takeout. It was also full of ingredients and the homemade sauce tied everything together nicely. Thank you for the meal!
