The standing bar at the liquor store is cheap and good (^^♪ Hankyu Awaji Station Standing Bar Takemura Saketen Maido! Yamadera here This day, I visited the standing bar Takemura Saketen at Hankyu Awaji Station for the first time in a while! I have also uploaded a video on YouTube, so please take a look if you like ♬ Let's enter the store right away. The counter here is a cozy standing bar with only a small space. As it is a liquor store, there is a wide variety of drinks available. I will have a barrel highball with lemon for 330 yen. For snacks, I ordered a mountain of whitebait for 260 yen. The fluffy and tender whitebait has just the right amount of saltiness and goes well with the drink! Another dish is grilled eggplant for 200 yen. The flavor of bonito flakes and the slightly spicy ginger are a great accent and delicious. It tastes just like real crab sticks for 230 yen. As the name suggests, it tastes like crab when you close your eyes ♬ Another dish is Wakame seaweed from Naruto, which I lightly drizzled with ponzu sauce ♬ Seaweed is healthy and good, right? This was my second visit, and I have completely fallen in love with this place. Thank you for the meal. I visited a liquor store in Awaji Shotengai. The store may look intimidating at first, but the friendly owner makes it easy to talk to and helps choose the perfect sake for customers. They have a wide variety of sake, allowing me to enjoy different types from half servings. I was very satisfied and would like to visit again.

You can find the location on the map at the provided link. This familiar standing bar in Osaka offers a variety of Japanese sake (local and premium sake) at affordable prices, carefully selected by the owner. During the hot season, beer and chilled Takiko sake are popular choices, and shochu is mainly served with water. They offer a set for comparing different types of sake (60ml x 3, 480 yen) with alcohol levels ranging from 15 to 20 degrees, each one fruity, smooth, and easy to drink. You may find yourself getting tipsy with a 400 yen glass of "Suzumasa Munemasa Namagen-shu 70", which is surprisingly delicious and easy to drink, not giving away its 19°C temperature. The salted "Katsuo no Tataki" for 380 yen is a perfect match with sake, sourced from a fish specialty store. "Saba no Kizushi" pairs well with Takiko sake, available as a set for 500 yen. You can also enjoy a set with a glass of draft beer (Maruef) and "Tamago Dofu" for 500 yen, which makes for a light yet satisfying dish. It has been over a week since my last visit. This popular restaurant serves local sake. I started with a draft beer (Maruef) and edamame for 500 yen. After sweating a bit, the beer goes down really well. I quickly ordered another draft beer for 380 yen, along with salted squid for 260 yen. The salted squid here goes really well with the sake "Takiko" and mackerel sushi for 500 yen. The Takiko sake is quite delicious and easy to drink, even on its own for 270 yen. I also tried the Hakodate sake "Goryo" for 400 yen, along with an assorted oden dish. The fruity Goryo sake was easy to drink and unfortunately sold out. I had the barley shochu "Genjiro" for 290 yen with hot water, along with mapo eggplant. The deep barley flavor of Genjiro paired well with the dish. I also tried the sweet potato shochu "Kozo" for 290 yen, along with boiled tofu and imitation crab for 200-240 yen. The barrel highball with lemon for 330 yen went well with the salted squid. Lastly, I finished with a large draft beer for 480 yen.

The store is known for its izakaya-style dining in Awaji, offering Hokkaido salted squid for 260 yen. The alcohol pairs well with the delicious flavors. They serve Maruef draft beer, along with chu-hai, highball, white wine, and other alcoholic drinks. Sausages for 120 yen make a great wine pairing, and dried squid for 350 yen is a popular and tasty choice. The Maruef draft beer (large size) for 480 yen and the dice steak are delicious. Other menu items like the "Oden Set of 3" for 290 yen, tuna sashimi for 380 yen, and a 400 yen sake (forgot the brand) also complement the food well. It's a great place for both sake lovers and those looking to enjoy a variety of tasty dishes.

The sake set for 500 yen includes Takiko and mackerel sushi, which is tasty. The draft beer set for 600 yen comes with Maruefu and edamame. The owner's carefully selected local sake is of high quality and offers great value for money. While the average alcohol content of sake is usually below 15%, this place offers many easy-to-drink sakes in the 20% range, which can be considered "dangerous" in a way. Popular among sake enthusiasts, this standing bar is a must-visit.
