My name is Keinsuke. Today, I would like to introduce a tonkatsu restaurant in Kadoma called "Anchistake Pork Maru." I don't often have the opportunity to visit Kadoma, but I came across this restaurant while looking for a place to eat after visiting cafes. It's a great place to dine alone, as it's not a ramen or gyudon chain. A friend had been there before and said it was delicious, so I decided to go in. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Kadoma Station. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats lined up in the front and table seats in the back. The counter seats were filled with solo male diners, while a few female groups were dining at the tables in the back. I was seated at the counter and carefully examined the menu. Ordering is done through a touch panel system. For food, I ordered: Anchistake Top Loin with extra meat (1320 yen) & B set meal (450 yen). First, you choose the meat cut and amount. Each cut has different prices and flavors to suit your preference. I chose the recommended "Top Loin (with extra meat)" this time. The meat amount can be increased from the regular 120g to 200g with extra meat. There are three types of sauce to choose from: Tamagomaponzu, homemade ginger and scallion sauce, and aged raw miso sauce. You can choose one sauce, but for an additional 150 yen, you can add another sauce. I chose Tamagomaponzu and aged raw miso sauce. The B set meal includes barley rice, pork soup, pickled cabbage, and grated yam with pork. The steak is made by grilling carefully selected pork by a meat connoisseur on an iron plate. The Top Loin was incredibly tender with a rich flavor. It was delicious to dip it in the "Tamagomaponzu" and "aged raw miso sauce." The sauces were fantastic. The "Tamagomaponzu" is a rich sauce made by combining two types of ground sesame, ground sesame, plenty of sudachi citrus juice, and dark red egg yolk. By adding a small amount of chili oil from the table, you can enjoy a change in flavor. The "aged raw miso sauce" is an original sauce made by aging a mixture of onion, apple, and several spices. It goes really well with rice! The finished Pork Top Loin bowl with rice was so luxurious. You can have as much barley rice as you want, which is recommended for those who ordered a lot of meat to balance with rice. Kadoma is not a place I often visit, but I found a nice restaurant that is easy to visit alone. If you are a local or visiting Kadoma, please give it a try. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Anchisteak" at Kawanishi-Noseguchi Station before, and when I heard that there is a branch in Kadoma City, I visited with my friends. The restaurant was clean and the seating was spacious, just like my previous visit. They offer a choice between "Anchisteak" with 5 different cuts (thigh, shoulder loin, loin, rib loin, top belly) and "Thick-cut Steak" with two options (top loin, rib loin). They also have pork cutlet and mapo tofu set meals, but this time we decided to share the "Anchisteak" with 5 cuts. I mainly had the "shoulder loin" and also tried a bit of the "top thigh". For those who prefer a lighter taste, I recommend the "shoulder loin", "top loin", and "top thigh". If you want to enjoy the richness of pork fat or the flavor of brand pork, go for the "rib loin" or "top belly". If you go with a group, I recommend trying a few different cuts. Lastly, the "tororo" (grated yam) and barley rice, which is also in the restaurant's name, was delicious. I don't usually eat barley rice, but it was really tasty, especially when paired with the rich pork fat. Ending the meal with "barley toro" is the best. I heard that a branch will open in Umeda by the end of the year, so I will definitely visit again, as it will be easily accessible from Kobe with just one train ride.

I finally went to the restaurant I had been curious about! You can choose the type and amount of meat, as well as the dipping sauce! I thought it was great that you can mix and match according to your mood that day! I ordered the Angus steak rib roast, A set meal, with miso sauce and additional ginger and scallion sauce! I don't usually eat steak, but the steak at this restaurant was thinly sliced and tender, making it very easy to eat! I was able to enjoy two different flavors with the additional dipping sauce! The ginger and scallion sauce was refreshing with a taste of green onions and ginger! The miso sauce was really delicious! It went perfectly with the rice and meat! Also, you could get a free refill of rice! I want to go back to try a different type of meat next time, and I want to recommend it to my friends too!

I tried the Anchisteak Tororo Barley Rice Pork Ball at @butamaru_official in Kadoma this time after having it in Kawanishi before. The restaurant specializes in dishes made with domestic pork, and the barley rice and special sauce were divine. The Anchisteak costs 1910 yen for a double portion of pork shoulder, 200g of pork, barley rice, pork soup, pickled cabbage, and tororo. It was so delicious, especially the barley rice which paired perfectly with the Anchisteak. The pork ball with special ponzu sauce was amazing. Mixing the barley rice with the pork shoulder was a match made in heaven. I also tried the ginger onion sauce and aged raw miso, which made me want more barley rice (laughs). There are several branches of this restaurant, so I highly recommend trying it out!

I'm impressed! I've found another enjoyable place to eat haha. I was imagining a dirty little shop, so I hesitated when I saw the clean storefront, but the owner looked like they serve really delicious food, so I felt relieved. The food is just delicious. Fit for royalty. I found my own way to enjoy it... The sauce is refreshing and tasty, so I soaked plenty of meat in it and put it on top of rice... Once the sauce has soaked into the barley rice, add grated yam on top... Maybe even pour the leftover sauce on top! Mix it all together with the grated yam... I will definitely come back! The taste is at a level that can be made at home. Well, it's ponzu sauce so it can't really taste bad. The staff member was noisy the whole time, not wearing a mask, and chatting loudly while cooking, which was unpleasant. If it was a chain restaurant, the staff would have been reprimanded severely. Disappointing.

Near Mondo Station, there is a restaurant that can be found here. During lunchtime, there are few options for eating around here, so every restaurant is crowded. I also had to wait a little before getting a table. The interior of the restaurant has 7 counter seats, 1 table for 6 people, 2 tables for 4 people, and 2 tables for 2 people. I chose to sit at the counter. In simple terms, it is a pork steak restaurant. I sat at the counter and ordered from the touch panel in front of me. I had the option to choose thin or thick slices of pork, select the cut (thigh, loin, belly, etc.), and choose the amount in grams. Then I had to choose between Set A or Set B, which determines if grated yam is included. There were also options for tonkatsu set and meat mapo tofu set. I chose the thin-sliced pork loin equivalent of Set B. The soup was the only disappointment, but the pork was delicious. Towards the end, I poured grated yam over the barley rice. The sauce was also a hearty flavor that made me want to eat more rice. It was a delicious meal.

For lunch, I went to a restaurant just a 1-minute walk from Kadoma City Station. The specialty here is the "anchi steak," which is a thick pork steak with a rich sauce. I ordered the popular top loin and premium rib set meals with an extra 200g of meat. You can choose from three different sauces, and I chose the egg ponzu and homemade ginger-scallion sauce. The pork slices were large and slightly thick, but the simple dish turned out to be the most delicious. The special sauce from the restaurant was also very tasty. My child's favorite was the egg ponzu sauce, which they enjoyed dipping the meat and rice together. Adding the ginger-scallion sauce generously was also delicious. When you drizzle some chili oil for a flavor change, it becomes even more delicious. I added grated yam to my barley rice, and it was very satisfying! I chose the ginger sauce for the thick-cut steak, which was refreshing and easy to eat. Most importantly, the barley rice was delicious. I ended up getting seconds and ended up being too full. The restaurant seemed newly opened, but it was clean and easy to enter. The price was a bit high when I ordered the pork steak.

Visited with my wife after taking care of some business near Kadomashi station. What is "Anch Steak"? Upon entering, we were seated at a table. It seemed like we could order using a touch panel, but the staff kindly explained it to us. After selecting "Anch Steak (sliced)" or "Light Steak (thick cut)", we had to choose the pork part, quantity, set meal contents, and sauce. It was a bit confusing if you don't know what to choose... I went with Anch Steak, top loin (regular), set with grated yam, egg with ponzu sauce, and ginger miso sauce. My wife chose Light Steak, premium rib loin, single portion, set with grated yam, egg with ponzu sauce, and aged raw miso sauce. We also added pork ball tea. The dishes arrived. The Anch Steak had thick slices, so it had a good meaty texture. The Light Steak had thick, tender meat with delicious juices. What is this tenderness? Both were delicious with the egg sauce. The mellow egg and strong sesame flavors were delightful. We also tried the miso sauce, which added a different atmosphere and was also tasty. The barley rice was also delicious. The grated yam was finely textured with a flavorful broth. We could get one rice refill, so we made sure to get more. The combination of barley and grated yam was irresistibly delicious. It was substantial but not too fatty, so we kept eating more. The limited pork ball tea also complemented the richness nicely, like a rooibos tea. Using domestically produced pork, this restaurant specializes in "evolved tonkatsu." They carefully slice and cook the pork to perfection, allowing you to enjoy their delicious tonkatsu. The restaurant is conveniently located near Keihan Katamachi Station, with a bright and cheerful interior and energetic staff. You order using a tablet. On my first visit, I tried their famous "Anchisteak." First, you choose the cut of meat: 1. Top thigh for a light flavor, 2. Top belly for a rich taste, 3. Top loin for tenderness, 4. Shoulder loin for the meatiness, 5. Premium rib loin for the sweetness. I chose the Premium Rib Loin. Then, you choose your set: A set with barley rice, pork soup, and cabbage pickles, or B set with barley rice, pork soup, cabbage pickles, and grated yam. I went for the B set. Lastly, you choose the sauce: 1. Ultimate pork ball with egg sesame ponzu, 2. Supreme pork ball with homemade ginger onion sauce, 3. Secret pork ball with aged miso sauce. Unable to decide, I paid extra and got all three. After a few minutes, the dishes arrived. I tried the Rib Loin first - the meat was sweet and delicious, and the sauces paired perfectly with it. The thinly sliced meat made it easy to enjoy with the sauces. The Anchisteak's meat was delicious, but the three sauces were sinfully good. The egg sesame ponzu was particularly addictive. The meal also included light pork soup and rich grated yam. The barley rice was so satisfying that I even had a second bowl for free. After the meal, I ordered the "Pork Ball Tea" to cleanse my palate, then left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied.
