I visited for a family meeting at lunchtime. The course was 10,000 yen for lunch. [Course Contents] - Appetizer: Hokkaido cherry blossom salmon sushi, eggplant dengaku, tender octopus simmered, boiled edamame with salt, kudzu noodles with fried egg, ginger, green onion - Small bowl: Bamboo shoots, shiitake mushroom chawanmushi with autumn salmon - Tempura: Small shrimp and trefoil tempura, dance mushroom, shishito pepper - Your choice: Olive oil, dashi soy sauce, dyed onion, wasabi, salt, lemon - Carpaccio: Carpaccio-style white fish with vegetables - Grilled dish: Rare peony shrimp, scallop, raw herring - Meat dish: Beef, grilled shiitake mushroom, cherry tomato, okra - Small pot: Small pot of root vegetables and thick fried tofu, mizuna - Meal: Mushroom and grilled chicken rice, red miso soup - Accompaniment: Rolled omelet, seaweed tsukudani, two pickles, ginger and asari clam simmered in Arima, tofu mountain wasabi - Dessert: Ice cream with sweet potato tempura, black honey - Organic coffee or tea Overall, it was delicious. However, the portion was large, and I ended up leaving almost all of the rice dish. I asked if I could take it home, but unfortunately, it was not possible. In a very full state, I also left some of the sweet potato tempura and ice cream (even though they were very delicious). For those who eat less, a slightly cheaper course with smaller portions may be better.

Today, we had a meeting with the parents of my son's fiancée over a meal at this restaurant they chose. It's a longstanding Japanese restaurant, unfortunately located in a hotel that will soon be renovated, possibly leading to its closure. We started with a toast of Sapporo Classic draft beer. The meal included: 1. Kuzuso noodles, sweet shrimp, and edamame tempura 2. Grilled salmon and eggplant with sea urchin 3. Seared barracuda in salt soup 4. Assorted sashimi 5. Eel sushi with fresh ginger 6. Beef steak with warm vegetables 7. Abalone, crab, and scallop hot pot 8. Corn rice. We also enjoyed delicious sake from Hokkaido throughout the meal. Each dish was excellent, especially the perfectly cooked corn rice at the end. We were very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Century Royal Hotel is said to be dismantled. Will this shop disappear as well? I always had meals there for business meetings, so disappointing. The miso stewed Furanodai Wagyu beef, grilled salmon with eggplant and uni topping, and nana-tsuboshi clay pot rice with sweet corn are delicious!!

On Thursday morning, July 6, 2023, no matter how many times you visit, the atmosphere at Wazen is always high-spirited. Each dish is carefully selected and presented beautifully. You can choose from a variety of dishes, including cooked rice, grilled hokke, salmon, scallops, and squid sashimi - a luxurious spread. On the blue chrysanthemum plate, there are large pickled plums, daikon pickles, thick salted fish roe, and medium salted salmon roe, all representing the flavors of Hokkaido. The small pot in the top right of the photo contains a generous miso soup with plenty of enoki mushrooms, made with a delicious broth. It's a breakfast that will enrich your heart. Thank you for the feast.

I was looking for a restaurant with private rooms and came here. Located on the 19th floor of Century Royal Hotel, you can enjoy your meal while enjoying the view. The location is convenient, with several course options to choose from. The dishes are overall delicious with a healthy flavor. You can enjoy various ingredients little by little. Although not shown in the photos, the rice was cooked with mushrooms in a clay pot, which was very filling. I heard that breakfast is also popular and I am curious about it. Thank you for the meal.

Century Royal Hotel's non-revolving Japanese cuisine in Sapporo offers original onion dish "Sapporo Yellow" and scallop chawanmushi, truly living up to its reputation as a Japanese restaurant! The clam and corn mixed rice is also a delicious dish. The steak made of beef is a beautifully presented hospitality dish. Enjoy it with the Chardonnay from Yamazaki Winery in Mikasa.

The private room was spacious and great for lunch with kids. The speed of the food coming out was quite slow, but the staff were all very kind and helpful. However, I was a bit disappointed with the content of the 4,000 yen course. The portion and taste were both lacking.

I visited North Road for the first time in a while to enjoy their cherry blossom lunch set that perfectly suits the spring season. The set looked vibrant and truly embodied the essence of spring. The cherry blossom-infused soba noodles had a subtle cherry blossom flavor and were delicious, while the chawanmushi topped with shrimp sauce was a unique and tasty dish that I had never tried before. The ambiance of the restaurant was also great, so I would love to come back next time and dine in one of their private rooms with a nice view. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I used it for a business dinner with a client. The entrance has a luxurious feel. They have acrylic partitions to prevent the spread of droplets. The staff timely offered additional drinks, which was nice. We enjoyed our time looking out at the north side of JR Sapporo Station.

The hotel breakfast is popular, with the elevator indicating it is ranked 3rd in Japan. The seafood and steak dishes are limited in quantity, so I made an effort to wake up early to try them. You can choose as many side dishes as you like, and there are various drink options including coffee after the meal. The seafood dish is served separately and is delicious for sure!

Sapporo is located right near Sapporo Station. I stayed at the Century Royal Hotel Sapporo for 2 nights. On the first day, I had a buffet at the popular Yote Terrace Sapporo. On the second day, I went to Hokunoji, a Japanese restaurant on the 19th floor. Personally, I preferred Hokunoji over the buffet on the first day because there was no congestion in front of the buffet dishes. I was very satisfied. They had homemade rolled omelette, seasonal grilled fish, simmered vegetables, and konjac with dried baby sardines, among other dishes. What was especially nice was the option to choose from 12 types of small dishes. This time, I chose Matsumae pickles with mountain wasabi, grated yam, and hot spring egg, but I wish I had ordered more because they were so good. As a bonus, here are some photos from the buffet I had the day before!

On a day off... just relaxing and forgetting about work. Oh, I was invited to visit. How was Sapporo after a long time? I was already enjoying a morning beer when I sat down. Oh, I have work, so just a meal, please. And when the tray was served in front of me, I thought, should I have a drink after all? The Japanese breakfast for ¥3000 here is always lovely, although I miss the small side dishes due to the influence of the pandemic. The elegant tray always lifts my spirits. I'm glad to be Japanese. President, please come to Hokkaido again... but who knows when that will be. However, I highly recommend this place for a Sapporo-style Japanese breakfast in a calm private room with attentive service. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

In a hotel in Sapporo, there are two breakfast options: a Western-style buffet and a Japanese-style buffet. I chose the Japanese-style buffet at "Kitano Michi" without hesitation and ordered the seafood bowl. The seafood bowl was filled with various seafood such as ikura, crab, scallops, salmon, sweet shrimp, octopus, warm egg, grated yam with mountain wasabi. The seaweed with "sapp_ro" written on it was placed on top. The miso soup was also served on the table and was warm. The clam soup was also available in abundance. It's clear that this hotel offers a high level of satisfaction for breakfast.

Century Royal Hotel's Japanese restaurant. I usually go to the breakfast buffet, which is famous, but I decided to try the Japanese cuisine this time. I was able to choose a seafood bowl for breakfast, and I felt like I got a good deal. When I go to the buffet, I tend to overeat, but with this option, it doesn't seem to have any impact on my lunch. It was very delicious.

"I received advice saying 'The breakfast is excellent!' and decided to use the breakfast included plan at the 'Century Royal Hotel'. When I arrived at 7 o'clock, it was quite crowded, but when I mentioned that I was okay with sharing a table, I was able to get in smoothly. Even though it was a shared table, it was a large table in a big room, so there was no sense of sharing. For breakfast, you can choose from three options: 'Japanese breakfast', 'Seafood bowl', and 'Japanese sandwich'. The recommended choice seems to be the 'Japanese breakfast', but I ordered the 'Seafood bowl' to experience the atmosphere of Hokkaido! The 'Seafood bowl' comes with a seafood bowl, grated mountain wasabi with grated yam, chawanmushi, miso soup, and you can also order a side dish to accompany the rice. You can choose multiple side dishes, including surimi, so it's a slightly luxurious service! The 'Seafood bowl' looks amazing!! It increases your appetite from the morning! However, be careful because there is a hot spring egg hidden inside!! I accidentally broke the hidden hot spring egg on the first try, and all the seafood was overshadowed by the taste of the egg... I love eggs, but I couldn't hide my shock thinking 'Ah, the hot spring egg wasn't necessary here'. This is something to watch out for!! The 'miso soup' was delicious!! The taste that warms you from the core of your body, typical of Hokkaido, was excellent!! It had plenty of ingredients, was simmered just right, soft, and the flavor had penetrated well. It was a delicious miso soup that I couldn't help but finish in no time. Next time I use it, I want to go for the 'Japanese breakfast'! If I attempt the 'Seafood bowl' again, I need to be careful with the egg."

Breakfast is mainly provided for guests staying at the hotel, and the quality is indeed high. Each dish is carefully prepared in the kitchen and served with elegance. There is a selection of side dishes available on a cart to accompany the rice. The miso soup with clams cooked on a stove is also delicious. It's hard to explain what I ate, so I will introduce it with photos. Thank you for the meal.

According to TripAdvisor, the breakfast at this Century Royal Hotel in Sapporo is ranked No. 3 in Japan. I decided to stay at this hotel and look forward to enjoying the breakfast. There are Western cuisine on the 2nd floor and Japanese cuisine on the 19th floor, both ranked No. 3. I usually prefer Japanese cuisine when traveling in Japan, so I chose the Japanese restaurant "Kitanoji" on the 19th floor. The view was not as great as expected. The most popular dish here is the "Japanese set meal," but I opted for the "seafood bowl" listed next to it. The breakfast price is surprisingly high at 3000 yen. In addition to the main dish, there is a small dish service where you can choose from a variety of side dishes. I selected "soft-boiled egg, sujiko, pickled herring, seaweed, pickled plum, tarako, grated mountain yam and wasabi." Each dish was delicious. A few minutes later, the seafood bowl arrived, accompanied by pickled radish and green leaf mustard. The seafood bowl included octopus, crab, sweet shrimp, salmon, salmon roe, scallop, shiso leaf, soft-boiled egg, and chopped seaweed. The main ingredients were salmon roe, salmon, and sweet shrimp. I started by eating with soy sauce, then added grated wasabi and yam for a different flavor. Finally, the soft-boiled egg flowed out, creating a delicious egg-topped sushi rice. The miso soup was a choice between "clam" or "eggplant and grated kelp miso soup." I chose the clam miso soup, which was flavorful with added green onions and served hot using solid fuel commonly found in hot spring inns. The miso soup was delicious. I looked up the hotel breakfast rankings and found that the top two for 2019 were "Hotel Piena Kobe" in Hyogo Prefecture and "La Vista Hakodate Bay" in Hakodate. I recall having eaten at the hotel in Hakodate where the amount of salmon roe was impressive. Now that I haven't been to Kobe, it seems like I'll have to visit at some point. Well, if I have the chance, I'll give it a try.

Sapporo Station is a 5-minute walk away. Located on the 19th floor of Century Royal Hotel, this restaurant exudes a sense of luxury. We enjoyed various Hokkaido delicacies such as marinated ikura with yuzu and grated daikon, fresh vegetables with beet and shiso dressing, dried overnight hokke fish, miso-marinated grilled pork loin from Hokkaido, butter-grilled scallops, tempura assortment of shrimp and seasonal vegetables, and karasumi with daikon. It was my first time trying ikura as it is, without being in a bowl or sushi, and it felt luxurious to savor it in one bite, filling my mouth with its soft texture and popping sensation. The hokke fish was surprisingly large, about twice the size I usually see in Tokyo, and had a tender and chewy texture. It was a lavish meal, and after indulging in various Hokkaido dishes, I ended with karasumi and daikon to cleanse the palate, accompanied by sake.

During my stay in Sapporo, I was taken to this restaurant by an acquaintance. This was the only luxurious dinner of the trip. Located on the 19th floor of the Century Royal Hotel, this place offers a sophisticated Japanese cuisine in private rooms, making it child-friendly. With a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old in tow, this was much appreciated. The view outside the window of Sapporo's cityscape with sparkling illuminations was lovely. We had the Winter Japanese Modern Kaiseki meal, which included shrimp chawanmushi, public fish nanbanzuke, assorted sashimi, Hokkaido beef steak, taro and shrimp steamed bun, Hokkaido deer meatball hot pot, and seasonal clay pot rice. Each dish was meticulously prepared and delicious. The flavors were slightly bold, perhaps reflecting the cold Hokkaido style or to complement the alcohol. The shrimp broth in the chawanmushi, the rich flavor of the taro and shrimp steamed bun, and the savory broth of the deer meatball hot pot allowed us to savor the seasonal flavors of Hokkaido. The children were provided with a special plate featuring hamburger, shrimp fry, croquette, spaghetti Napolitan, and inari sushi, which was luxurious. The tables and chairs were of high quality, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. The service was excellent, and we had a pleasant time. I was invited this time, so I will not give a star rating, but it was truly delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I used the breakfast venue at the hotel during my stay. The atmosphere is quite calm, but I confirmed that it is okay to bring children. It was around 7:00 at the end of the year, which I think is the time of sunrise. I enjoyed a pleasant breakfast at the timing of the sunrise! The cost is ¥2500, but the taste, service, and atmosphere are excellent! Rice and miso soup are free refills. You can also order side dishes separately, which is a very service-oriented system! If there is a chance, I would like to use this place rather than a buffet!
