I woke up in the morning and calculated that I drank about 10 bottles of 350ml beer. I drank too much again so I decided not to drive. Went shopping with my wife and took care of the kids at the mall. The kids had Mister Donut and I had meat udon after consulting with my stomach. Please order! The meat was heavy. Surprisingly, I liked the taste here. However, the meat udon for 730 yen is not very cost-effective.

On Saturday around 12:20, I took three elementary school students to the food court at Aeon Sasaozaka store. Two of the elementary school students ordered Tsukimi Udon for 480 yen (tax included) each, while I ordered a Gyudon + Udon set for 780 yen (tax included). I paid for the food and received a buzzer to wait. After waiting for about 7-8 minutes, the buzzer rang and I went to pick up the udon. The noodles in the udon were slightly thin and smooth. The broth was also light. The Gyudon didn't have any distinctive features but was still delicious.

I visited this place for lunch with my colleagues on a weekday. Eating carbs for lunch on a weekday feels like a treat (lol). It had been a while since I had carbs during the day, so I ordered the Mini Katsudon Set (mini pork cutlet bowl with udon). The katsudon here is delicious with a generous amount of broth. The pork cutlet is of a normal thickness, but it's soaked in flavorful broth and coated with a half-cooked egg. The portion size is small, but with the udon included, it's just right. I usually have soba noodles, but I opted for udon this time since warm soba noodles didn't appeal to me. The udon here also comes with a tasty broth, and the smooth noodles are delicious. Fukuoka is definitely known for its udon. Having carbs for lunch on a weekday after a long time was truly delicious. When it gets warmer, I'd like to try their cold soba noodles. It was a delightful meal. Thank you.

I went out with my colleagues for lunch because I was busy on a regular day. Last time we had udon, so this time I decided to try warm soba. I also ordered a mini katsudon set because just soba wouldn't be enough. The soba had a delicious broth, but the color was a bit off. I sprinkled some shichimi spice on it and took a bite. The soba was soft and I quickly finished it. It was still tasty though. Maybe I need to get used to soba or try a famous soba restaurant next time. The katsudon had thin meat, but the broth and the soft egg were still great. I think next time I'll try the zaru soba. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a colleague for lunch during my usual commute. Even though it was during a state of emergency, I still had to go to the office every day. The company was mostly empty, with only a few directors and some essential staff coming in. I usually don't have time to eat a proper lunch, but on this day, I went out before lunchtime. The food court attached to the supermarket was surprisingly busy, and I decided to have a katsudon set with zaru udon. My colleague had zaru soba. The katsudon had thin meat with a well-balanced coating, and the egg was perfectly runny. It was delicious. As for the zaru udon, the thin, glossy noodles had a nice chewy texture. I always thought warm udon was the best, but now I know cold udon can be delicious too. Both the chain restaurants in the food court maintained a certain level of quality. When in doubt, they are a reliable choice. It was a very tasty meal. I look forward to trying the soba next time. Thank you for the meal.

"I had the 'Zaru Soba' (570 yen). The soba noodles were slightly thin and square in shape with sharp edges. There were small black specks visible, indicating the use of coarse buckwheat flour. The overall color was quite white, suggesting a lower ratio of buckwheat flour or a higher ratio of wheat flour. The noodles were smooth and chewy, not mushy. They were very cold, possibly due to thorough rinsing and draining. The noodles didn't have much aroma or flavor. The soba dipping sauce was surprisingly sweet, even for someone from Kyushu. The wasabi was a packaged one from a Tokyo manufacturer, with Western wasabi listed as the main ingredient followed by real wasabi and several additives. The wasabi had a strong, sharp kick. This dish may be suitable as a junk food option rather than a high-end soba experience, with its extreme combination of elements making it a unique and interesting choice."

I went to "Soba Chaya Hanamoto" in the food court of Ion Mall Sasao. The popular choice here that never changes is "Ringer Hut"♪ Since I wanted to eat quickly and go home, I chose this shop which didn't have a line. I ordered the "Gobo Tempura Udon". I'm more of a udon person even at a soba shop (^_^;) I waited for my order with the buzzer they gave me. It's self-service! The soup was a bit sweet, and the noodles were slightly thin and smooth. The tempura included not only gobo but also carrot. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

When shopping for groceries, I planned to have lunch at a Japanese restaurant on the 1st floor, but there was a small line, so I decided to go to the food court in the basement for the first time in about 10 years. The place has changed a lot since then, with many unfamiliar shops. I was torn between a parent and child rice bowl specialty store, but decided to go for soba. This place is located in Daimaru, right? I chose the mini tendon set (788 yen, excluding tax) from the menu, and it seemed cheaper than when I had the same set at Daimaru about two years ago, which I think was around 1000 yen. After a wait of less than 10 minutes, a beep sound signaled that my order was ready, and I went to pick it up. The soba was very pale and thin, and the dipping sauce had a sharp taste. The noodles and sauce were both chilled thoroughly. The mini tendon was a bit disappointing as it wasn't freshly fried, but it was still decent for the price difference. Overall, the soba was delicious, and it's convenient to have a place like this in the food court where you can enjoy good soba at a reasonable price. I will probably visit again when I'm shopping. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered lunch on a Monday after a long time. I had a mini tempura rice bowl and cold soba noodles! I love the sweet sauce on the tempura rice bowl!! It was delicious! I was able to use NexPay.
