Salmon and Camembert Cascoute: ¥356 - The taste of the ingredients. The usual Cascoute with Parma ham and Camembert is a classic, but it was sold out so I tried the salmon for the first time. On the way home, I bought a rose called "Flash dance" at the flower shop. It's a popular way of arranging flowers in the UK called "Jumping Bouquet". The "Flash dance" rose really embodies this jumping style. A Jumping Bouquet is an arrangement where each flower is the star from every angle.

Back home, enjoying a decaf Starbucks coffee for breakfast. Another highlight is the stylish packaging of the Cuscute, reminiscent of France.

When it comes to Bongu, their original sandwich made with French bread filled with Camembert cheese, bacon, and cucumber is a must-try. I have seen similar sandwiches in France, but Bongu is the only place I have found it in Japan. I used to eat here every weekend, but it has been a while since my last visit.

Bangoo Bakery offers a wide variety of breads. They have Camembert cheese for 490 yen, cream puffs for 130 yen, mini croissants for 290 yen, and English bread for 250 yen per loaf. They also serve delicious specialty coffee at the counter. It's so convenient to have such a tasty bakery just a minute walk from home! Their bread always puts a smile on my face, especially the croissants which are incredibly delicious. I often enjoy them as a treat. Today, I made a slightly larger purchase since it's been a while since my last visit. Let's use the English bread to make some hamburgers, shall we?

Mini cupcakes with 6 pieces for 280 yen are highly recommended as they are filled with lots of chocolate. As soon as I saw them, I wanted to eat them. I actually wanted red tea muffins, but they were not available, so it was disappointing. This bakery is a must-visit when you come to Takaiishi!

I bought a lot of bread for the first time in a while! My bread stock was running low, and I was out of frozen bread, so I came to buy some. I went in the afternoon, and there were quite a few different types of bread, so I bought a variety. I tried a different kind of bread than usual, leaning towards Danish pastries. The custard one was delicious!

There are many expensive and tasty shops, but few that are both cheap and delicious. Although luxury bread is delicious, it's not something I can buy every time. As a bread lover, my bread expenses exceed my rice expenses. This shop is delicious and wallet-friendly.

I always come here looking for Danish bread, which is delicious. It's always sold out by the time I get there. Today, they were only selling 4 slices for 60 yen each, so I bought them all! Whenever I see all the different options, I want to buy more, but I have to resist. Today, I only bought the bread. 😄

I heard that the second floor of Aplar Takaiishi has become lovely, so I made a detour to check it out. There was indeed a lovely miscellaneous goods store that suited my taste, and I found some dried flowers that I wanted. On my way back, I stopped by the bakery here again. The last time I had the plain bread, which was just average... This time, I tried the raisin bread. It was reasonably priced at 260 yen! The raisin bread was okay, but the crust was a bit hard. The corn mayo bread for 170 yen was also decent and tasted good. With the current 20% discount in Takaiishi City, it's a good deal. However, I still think the bread was tastier when they were located near the old city hall.

I bought bread in the morning to make simmered dishes and braised dishes from the morning, so I'm busy... lol I shared and ate cream coronet, chocolate coronet, mini croissant, and red bean donut. The coronet was heavy and the chocolate had a nostalgic taste. The cream was not too sweet. The red bean donut was bite-sized and easy to eat. The mini croissant was delicious when lightly toasted!

I think there used to be a small bakery near Takaiishi City Hall. They had a second branch at Apla. Over time, the original branch closed, and now only the branch at Apla Takaiishi is operational. I used to go to the main branch occasionally, but it has been a while since I visited. I parked at Apla and went in. The 30-minute free parking is convenient for bakery customers. I was indecisive about whether to get the corner loaf, mountain loaf, grape loaf, or a Danish pastry. The Danish pastry was a bit pricey, but I forgot to take a picture and can't remember the exact price. It seemed delicious as other customers were buying two each. The bread loaves were reasonably priced, and I could easily afford a loaf of bread. I asked about the "Hono Ka" mountain loaf, and the staff came out to explain that it was more like a crispy British loaf rather than a chewy one. They recommended the corner loaf for those who prefer chewy bread. I noticed that other customers were enjoying sandwiches and mini croissants. I also saw an apple-filled bread for 350 yen and a cream puff for 120 yen, which seemed quite reasonable, and I thought of trying them next time. There are four seats at the counter, and it's nice that you can eat in if you live nearby. The egg and vegetable sandwich for 250 yen and the original corner loaf for 240 yen were reasonably priced. Both the sandwich and the bread were delicious. The bread wasn't as chewy as I had hoped, but it was still good. I would need to try more items to give a comprehensive review, but I have a preference for the bakery when it was at its previous location.

Today's bread shop that I've been curious about for a while. In the early afternoon, the store was full of a variety of bread. Danish pastries, sweet and buttery, were delicious when toasted! There was also a nut-filled Danish pastry that was delicious. The sweet potato bread looked tempting too. I bought other bread for my son's lunch. There are many other bread varieties that caught my eye, so I will definitely go back to buy more!

Bongo, a shop in Takaiishi, leaves a strong impression as a local establishment. I tried their seasonal strawberry rusk. When I first heard "rusk," I imagined something crispy with butter and sugar, but the strawberry rusk was completely different. It was a crispy bread coated with a mixture of sugar and strawberry milk-like flavor. The texture is like rusk, but the taste is completely unique. It tastes like a sweet snack that is different from anything else. The bite-sized pieces are easy for children to eat.

This place, with a large doll as a landmark, is where I visited after a long time. The bread here is reasonably priced yet elaborate and delicious. The bread that looks like soft serve ice cream is not only cute but also tasty. Instead of soft serve ice cream, there is a muffin inside, making it feel like a dessert. The cheese and walnut bread is hearty. I also like the bread with raisins, honey, and butter. In addition to pizza, melon bread, and anpan that are commonly seen in other shops, there is a variety of bread available. I always end up buying too much.

I found a bakery when I went to Appra Takaiishi to eat parfait. It was my first visit as it is not close to where I live. The shop is not very spacious, but they have a wide variety of pastries and savory bread. The salt bread I bought was soft and fluffy, similar to a butter roll. It was very delicious. The sweet potato and walnut croissant had a crispy Danish pastry texture and a crunchy walnut taste. The combination of sweet potato and walnut was great! They also had pork belly sausage bread, curry bread, cheese bread, and they all looked very delicious. I would like to go back again if I have the chance.

Bongu-san here. It's located inside Aplla, but the entrance is outside. I wandered around Aplla looking for bread, and then I wandered around Konomiya. I bought some sandwich bread. I'll toast it at home. Mmm, it's a bit hard but soft and delicious! It's perfect for everyday use!

Walk? I didn't walk enough to say I went for a walk, but I went outside in the cold weather, so I felt like I was on a walk. The restaurant "all day dining Hikari" where I had the strawberry fondant chocolate parfait and the bakery "BonGout" are both located at the "Apla Takashi" four-story building near Nankai Takashi Station. I didn't know Takashi at all, so I wanted to buy souvenirs for my family, but I couldn't find the shops at all. I thought about searching on Tabelog and looking at the map, but it was so cold outside. Moreover, this station only has regular trains stopping by, so only one train comes every 15 minutes. After having the parfait, I walked a little and found this bakery where I bought some bread. However, when I searched on Tabelog after returning home, I found out that it was in the same building. I could have walked there from inside the facility. Usually, I would want to buy creamy and sweet bread, but after eating a voluminous parfait that day, my stomach and chest were full. The bread I bought was all delicious. The milk heart had red beans sandwiched inside, and each bean was individually placed, giving an interesting texture. Thank you for the meal.

A shop that I often pass by ★ It's a shop that I always thought I could go anytime but never did. I bought the reliable melon pan and cream pan. Since there are always customers in the shop, I had high expectations, but it was just average. In a good way or a bad way (^^; Both breads were a bit firm and not too sweet. I don't like it too sweet, but also don't like it too plain... Am I being too picky? They seem to focus on Danish pastries and hard bread, so I'll try those next time. I remember the croissant sandwich I bought before was really delicious, so I have high hopes for the next visit ★

Today's lunch consisted of three types of bread for my bread-loving son. I had cheese and Mont Blanc. I split them in half and ate them since the morning. I lightly warmed them up in the microwave and lightly toasted them - the cheese was delicious! The Mont Blanc tasted like a dessert with cream and chestnut. I bought a different type of bread than last time. I will toast it and eat it tomorrow.
