Yes, overnight shift (*゚∀゚*) I worked through yesterday's night shift and then day shift without much sleep \(//∇//)\ I woke up later than usual today (T_T) If I had woken up just 10 minutes earlier, I could have chosen ramen for breakfast, but it was a bit too late... So, I went for a beef bowl instead \(//∇//)\ The other day I went to Matsuya, but today I went to Sukiya Sakuragawa Station store near Senbayashi... for breakfast (lol) Normally, I would get a regular beef bowl, but I saw on YouTube that they have a "giga-size" option... However, a giga-size was a bit much, so I went for a large size instead. Probably the first time in over 20 years (lol) I ordered using the touch panel outside the store. The outside touch panel was for takeout orders \(//∇//)\ I told an Indian-looking staff member that I would be dining in and made my payment. Shortly after, the beef bowl in a large size arrived! It had a pretty decent portion... I added some pickled ginger and shichimi pepper and started eating! The taste was stronger than Matsuya. Out of Yoshinoya, Sukiya, Matsuya, and Nakau, it seems that Sukiya is the favorite beef bowl chain among them. Information from a follower \(//∇//)\ I ate eagerly and realized, oh, I don't have any water... Around the middle of my meal, I asked for some water. I finished the meal while thinking, I really wish it came with miso soup. Thank you for the meal.

Today I had lunch at this place. I stopped by here on my way back from a business meeting for a slightly late lunch. I thought about having a beef bowl, but when I walked in, I could smell curry faintly in the air... I ended up ordering a regular curry. The curry had a homemade feel to it, with chunky potatoes and carrots as ingredients. The taste was close to my liking and very delicious! The spiciness was mild and easy to eat. It was a regular size serving of rice, but I ended up leaving some behind, I'm sorry. Thank you for the meal!

I got lost trying to find lunch at Sakuragawa Station. I wandered around and ended up at Matsuya, which seemed quiet and relaxing. I was curious about the Cream Cheese Arrabbiata Beef Bowl, so I decided to try it. I got the set with a mini apple and tofu. The apple came in a bag, like a school lunch! The taste was a bit strange, not bad but not great either. I know the simple beef bowl is tastier, but I like to try new things, so I might order a different special beef bowl next time.

After returning with my senior and Spadio, we visited this Sukiya Sakuragawa Station store for the first time. I ordered the Wasabi Mountain Beef Bowl. I actually wanted to order the Sukiyaki set meal, but it was already over for the season... What a shame. I'll have to come back next year for that. So, I went with my usual choice, the Mountain Beef Bowl with Wasabi. Do any of you dislike yam? (laughs) People who are particular about food tend to avoid fast food like this, but sometimes you just crave it, right? The beef is well-marinated and delicious, without being dry. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to a beef bowl restaurant called "Sukiya" in Naniwa-ku, Osaka. Due to the approaching typhoon, it was a day of heavy rain and wind, so I chose a casual restaurant near Hankyu Sakuragawa Station on Sennichimae Street. I decided to try the limited-time menu item, the Wagyu Sukiyaki Bowl with miso soup (880 yen). The bowl had a lot of Chinese cabbage, along with shirataki noodles, carrots, and gluten. The flavor was rich, and I thought it would have been nice to have it with a raw egg. Although I couldn't really feel the Wagyu aspect, it was tender and delicious. The miso soup was hearty and satisfying with plenty of ingredients. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. A journey well-traveled is a journey without regrets.

The restaurant has a red sign on the brick exterior and serves beef bowl, pork bowl, curry rice, and set meals. It is open 24 hours. The interior is a bit messy. I ordered the chicken meatball hot pot set meal (regular size). There was a short wait. The presentation took time because it was filled with vegetables, providing about 1/3 of the daily required amount. The good smell of ginger wafts through the air. The meal includes chicken meatball hot pot, rice (regular size), grated ginger, and mixed pickles. The chicken meatball hot pot is served in a metal pot heated with solid fuel from the bottom. It feels luxurious like a ryokan dinner. The ingredients include chicken meatballs, tofu, green onions, onions, carrots, cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, udon noodles, shirataki noodles, and more. The chicken meatballs have a slightly burnt surface from being seared with a burner. They may have cartilage in them, providing a nice crunchy texture. Having a beer with just the chicken meatball hot pot alone would be enjoyable. The condiments on the table include pickled ginger, Japanese dressing, French dressing, and chili peppers. I had the chicken meatball hot pot set meal (regular size) for ¥580. The menu also includes various sizes and toppings for beef bowls, pork bowls, and curry rice.

I was invited to try the Kinoko Peperoncino Gyudon and decided to dine in. The appearance, interior, and atmosphere of the restaurant lacked a bit of cleanliness compared to other gyudon chains. The staff seemed serious. I ordered the Kinoko Peperoncino Gyudon for 490 yen, which came with miso soup. Upon tasting it, I found it to be more watery than expected, with a lot of sauce and thick ingredients, giving it a strong and sticky texture. It seemed like a regular gyudon with a special sauce, ingredients, and garlic chips on top. Honestly, it wasn't to my liking. When I think of peperoncino, I expect the flavor of garlic and the spiciness of chili peppers, but I didn't feel like it worked well in this dish. A bit disappointing...

I obtained information from an online news that Sukiya is running a campaign offering a 20% increase in beef quantity, and I was curious about it. One evening, as I passed by the Sukiya near Sakuragawa Station, I saw a poster advertising the 20% beef increase campaign! This made me wonder. Is it only for orders larger than regular size? I wouldn't know unless I tried ordering something other than regular size. Feeling excited about the campaign and obligated to confirm whether only orders larger than regular size are increased, I entered the restaurant. I was prepared to order a regular size at worst. Inside, a very friendly and refreshing young staff member attended to me, and I immediately asked about the increase in beef quantity. They explained that the mini size is not included, but anything larger than regular size, including the mega size, is eligible for the increase. This made me very happy. Unable to order a regular size, I couldn't contain my excitement and ended up ordering the special size. Sukiya offers a variety of toppings, making it enjoyable. This time, I opted for no toppings, but I plan to try them next time. While I was thinking about that, my order arrived. There was more beef than I expected. Truly a generous increase! I took a bite. Delicious! This healthy beef, cooked until the fat melts away, is what makes a beef bowl. I could eat more and more. I thought there was a lot, but I finished it all in one go. It was delicious. I plan to come back again. Next time, I will take my time to choose the toppings.

After drinking quite a bit and heading home, I couldn't resist passing by "Sukiya," where the smell of curry wafted through the air. Even though I hadn't eaten much tonight, at least in my mind, I felt like I had a light meal. But I made up for it by drinking beer, sake, shochu, and walking all the way from Minami to near my house, which took about 40 minutes. And yet, in just a moment, I succumbed to the temptation of curry. So, I was led to the late-night "Sukiya." I don't usually go to places like Sukiya, Yoshinoya, or Matsuya. So I didn't even know they had so many menu options. But my heart was set on curry. I didn't need a salad, I just wanted curry, but the keyword "Gyudon Curry" really caught my attention. I ordered the "Gyudon Curry" (430 yen). I remembered trying something similar at Yoshinoya once, and I thought the flavor balance was off, but Sukiya's version was delicious! Although, my judgment may not be reliable since I had quite a bit to drink. I know most people wouldn't come to eat at Sukiya at this hour, but I couldn't resist. However, eating this late will surely make me gain weight again... What should I do? I had some errands in Sakuragawa and was casually cycling around the area as usual. I didn't notice before, but there was a new "Sukiya" restaurant that had opened. I'm not sure what used to be in that location, but it seems to have opened in conjunction with the opening of Hankyu Dentetsu Sakuragawa Station! I was feeling a bit hungry, so I decided to visit. The female staff greeted me with a refreshing smile. As I sat at the counter and looked at the menu, I was overwhelmed by the variety of gyudon options available. There were also other rice bowl dishes and curries to choose from. Indecisive as I am, I spent about 5 minutes pondering my order. Since it was my first time, I settled on the Celery Gyudon Special (580 yen) with the option to add extra spiciness for 20 yen. Just as I was about to place my order, I noticed a "Miso Soup Set for 160 yen" listed at the bottom of the menu! Miso soup and salad for only 160 yen seemed like a steal! My bargain radar went off, and I ended up ordering the Miso Soup Set as well. In the end, the total came to 760 yen, but the portion size was incredible! When I tried the spicy Celery Gyudon, I enjoyed the crunch of the celery, the spiciness, and the flavor that seemed to complement the beef, which was not American but rather sourced from Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. The meat had a good chew to it, and the seasoning was just right. Overall, I was satisfied with both the taste and portion size. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. When I was running along Senbon-dori, I suddenly stumbled upon this Sukiya. Since I still had some time to spare, I decided to drop by. As usual, I ordered the Three Cheese Gyudon and the Oshinko Pork Soup Set. It's getting colder, so the pork soup was perfect. The interior of the restaurant felt a bit cramped, despite being quite spacious. The food came out quickly, as always, within about a minute of ordering. The taste was excellent, and the cheese was melted perfectly, even better than usual!

Whenever I go, Sakura River Sukiya always has fast, cheap, and delicious food. It's popular no matter the time of day, whether it's late at night, during lunch, or in the morning, the restaurant is always bustling. The staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service with a smile. The beef bowls are delicious, and sometimes I even get takeout. They also handle special orders like extra sauce perfectly. The service at the register is also great, with cheerful smiles making takeout a pleasant experience. I hope Sakura River Sukiya continues to liven up the area around Sakura River Station along with the nearby Matsuya chain. Thank you for the meal!

I went there after shopping! The staff were very kind and the store was spacious and easy to navigate! The taste was delicious. It's perfect for those who want to relax alone like me! This place has become my favorite for Sukiya's ice cream. The service was great, the staff were always smiling and kind. The staff who seemed to be students were especially good! The atmosphere was lively and full of energy. I would love to go back if I have the chance!

Due to the nature of my work, I visit at various times, but there are always friendly staff members. The staff are mostly young and work harmoniously in the kitchen, creating a pleasant atmosphere without being off-putting to customers. The mini beef bowl and salad set I always order is just the right amount for me. I like that they offer self-service barley tea, which is my preferred drink. When I want to cut back on calories late at night, I often go for the light beef bowl, which comes with beef and salad on top of tofu, drizzled with sauce and ponzu. You can also ask to have the sauce and ponzu removed if you prefer a milder taste.

During my low-carb diet, I was curious about the portion size and price of the Gyudon 3x serving (¥800) at Sukiya, so I decided to take it home and measure it. It turned out to be approximately 400g, but after transferring the meat to a separate plate and draining the broth, it was around 320g. I visited the restaurant from 09:40 to take advantage of the LINE coupon. The coupon was valid until 09:59. I ordered one clam soup, which was sweet miso soup with plenty of clams. It had a good amount of clams in it. I will have it with the bento box I had earlier.
