Our restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from Temma Bridge 6-chome Station on the Osaka subway. Just before Tenma Market. This area has a unique atmosphere typical of Osaka. No parking available. Our restaurant was selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog, a popular restaurant review site. On a Saturday morning, reservations are only accepted for the same day, starting at 10 am. Before that time, the phone line is busy, so it may take a while to get through. When I finally got through at 10:13 am, I was told that all reservations for the day at 5 pm were already full, and I might have to wait regardless of what time I arrive. I decided to go and wait. Arriving at 18:50, I found one other party waiting ahead of me. After a 40-minute wait, we were finally seated. The exterior looks like a small izakaya or teishoku restaurant, while the interior is cozy with 8 counter seats and 2 tables. There were two staff members, with one mainly handling customer service and the other cooking. The menu boldly states "No special recommendations." We ordered a glass of white wine for 450 yen, a glass of red wine for 450 yen, an assorted appetizer plate for 520 yen, a small shrimp fry for 280 yen, gratin for 600 yen, hamburger steak for 800 yen, a small beef tenderloin steak for 750 yen, cream croquette with egg for 420 yen, minced eggplant fry for 450 yen, and cabbage roll for 420 yen, to share between my wife and me. The prices were surprisingly cheap, and the quality of the dishes was exceptional. Each dish we tried was delicious, with no disappointments. The beef tenderloin steak, in particular, was incredibly tender and flavorful. The master chef even commented on how quickly we were eating, comparing us to eating soba noodles. Overall, we were impressed by the quality and value of the food and the friendly service. We would love to visit again and try more dishes.
