After lunch on August 23, I stopped by a bakery to buy some bread. The shop was very friendly. I bought a hat-shaped bread, a croissant, and an anpan. I ate them at home. The hat-shaped bread was slightly sweet with a gentle sweetness and a fluffy inside. The anpan was a bit sweet, but the balance with the dough was good. The croissant was a fluffy type, and you could taste the butter flavor well, which showed the care put into making it. After eating, I couldn't help but smile. Thank you for the delicious meal. Today's bread: hat-shaped bread, croissant, anpan. Total cost: 525 yen.

I passed by with my daughter and decided to stop by because I was a little hungry. It is a bakery located about a 10-minute walk from Fuku Station, near Hankyu Oasis. It was a busy day with a pop-up event, so the selection of items in the store was limited. I purchased a Bacon Egg Bread (179 yen + tax) and a Hat Bread (152 yen + tax). The Bacon Egg Bread has a soft bread dough with mayonnaise, bacon, and boiled egg inside. The mayonnaise is rich and generously filled, making it almost overflowing when bitten into. The saltiness was not too strong. The Hat Bread has a sweet dough with plenty of sugar, and a slightly firm texture. The sweetness of the dough increases as you chew. Both were just average in taste, with a nostalgic, homey flavor. If you don't have any business nearby, I don't think it's worth going out of your way to buy them at the event.

I visited Hattori Tenjin for work on this day. There is a fairly large shopping street around the station. Additionally, there are many shops lined up further away from there, but most of them are not registered on Tabelog. This shop is located on the extension of the main street. It has the atmosphere of a popular bakery in the town, selling inexpensive bread and baked goods. If it's a shop like this, of course, I will have a curry bread. The unique feature is the incredible hardness of the surface. I'm not sure if there are people who like this, but perhaps it's to prevent the curry from leaking out. The taste is mildly spicy and delicious.

Yesterday and today, I had work near Hattori Tenjin. After finishing work at school, I headed towards Hattori Tenjin Station and discovered a bakery called "Te Chuan Do San" in the shopping street in front of the station. The old-fashioned pension-style exterior caught my interest, so I went inside. At the entrance, I learned that they are currently operating a limited-time store at Hankyu Department Store as well. My expectations rose. Unfortunately, when I visited in the late evening, there weren't many products left, but I picked up a few. I enjoyed them at home. First, the "Sakura Anpan" unique to this season. The not-too-sweet bean paste with a hint of salt was a nice touch. The cherry blossom petals were beautiful. The "Bean Butter Bread" was also good. The light bean paste and creamy butter with a hint of salt were a great combination. The texture of the French bread was also well-balanced. I also purchased a curry bread and others, all of which had familiar and easy-to-eat flavors. It's a great bakery in a nice downtown area.

I stopped by this bakery to grab a quick bite while taking a walk in the Hattori area. It's a bit of a walk from Hankyu Hattori Station, but there are supermarkets and shopping streets nearby, making it a popular spot. The shop is small and not stroller-friendly, so it's only for takeout. I picked out some items that seemed appealing to me. The egg wiener bread (152 yen) had a slightly sweet bread dough with soft wiener and scrambled eggs, giving off a simple and nostalgic taste. The French custard bread (130 yen) had custard cream sandwiched between French bread, with a sweet inside like French toast but not overly sweet on the outside. The Fancy bread (130 yen) had coffee cream inside a coppe bread, with a mild sweetness like coffee milk. Overall, the pastries had a simple and nostalgic taste. The prices are reasonable, but I didn't find any standout pastries, and since it's a bit far from the station, I probably wouldn't visit unless I lived nearby.

It's a cute name for a shop, isn't it? Tetchu and Sun. I bought some shokupan. Unlike the trendy high-end shokupan that's been popular lately, this one is quite ordinary. It has a simple taste without any strange sweetness. It's the kind of shokupan that you want to toast and spread butter on. It would also be good for making hot sandwiches or French toast. I recommend it for when you want to eat plain shokupan. If it were nearby, I might buy it again, but it wasn't worth going out of my way for. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited before, the store was closed for an event, but this time they were participating in an event and only selling some products. I went in because I was curious about the "An Butter" that I had seen in reviews, but it wasn't displayed. Perhaps it's a popular menu item? The yakisoba bread that caught my eye was a version where the yakisoba was completely hidden inside the bread, with bonito flakes sprinkled on top, making it incredibly delicious. The baby an donuts were bite-sized, not too sweet, and so delicious that I couldn't stop eating them after just one bite.

Hat bread is a type of bread with a wide brim and a small body like a hat. I couldn't resist buying it because I love hat bread, but...hmm...the brim is thick, not crispy but moist with a firm texture, and it's sweet!! I tried changing the texture by heating it in a toaster oven, but the texture didn't change much, and the sweetness became more pronounced... By the time I reached the body of the hat, I was already a bit tired of eating it, and I even thought about saving the body for tomorrow...

I purchased mentaiko bread, Anpanman chocolate bread, and baguette-style Osatsu bread. They were voluminous, affordable, and delicious. (╹◡╹)

Fluffy mentaiko and hat-shaped bread! The impact of the hat-shaped bread is amazing, it's like wearing a complete straw hat... I think it's better to share it with family rather than eating it alone because you might get tired of it. The cookie dough part of the hat bread is not crispy like melon bread, but has a moist texture like brioche. Also, the different textures of the dough complement each other well! The chewy texture of the mentaiko dough is also excellent. I hope they have a booth at Hankyu Umeda again so I can eat it again!

On March 21, 2018, at the event "Abeno Pan Collection 2018" held at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store. One thing that cannot be forgotten in the fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine is "anko (sweet red bean paste) and cream" and "anko and butter." This time, I was drawn to the "anko butter," which is also my husband's favorite, and decided to buy it. When we returned home and shared one, my husband immediately said, "Delicious!" This bread not only has a great taste but also an attractive price, so it seems like a shop where regular customers visit often. If there is one nearby, I would like to visit it regularly. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business at a nearby hospital and decided to search for a place to grab some food afterwards. I came across this bakery with a variety of deli-style bread. I chose a bacon and potato salad breadstick and a tomato, cheese, and basil bread (I'm not sure of the exact name, sorry). I got home and tried them out. First, I tried the basil bread and was pleasantly surprised to find cream cheese hidden around the tomato. The balance of tomato and basil was perfect and it was delicious! This bread would go perfectly with wine. Next, I tried the breadstick with potato salad and cheese on top. It was also delicious. I was impressed by the quality of the deli-style bread. I would definitely go back to buy more if I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal!

There is a new bakery that opened last June on a street one block north of Senyaya-san, to the west of Hattori Station. The bakery is quite noticeable with its blue tent outside. Even though it was past 1:30 PM, the shelves were still well-stocked with a variety of bread, making it difficult to choose. The bakery also offers baked goods, adding to the appeal. Here are some of the items I tried:
- Walnut Raisin Bread (240 yen): A rustic Campania bread with walnuts and raisins, a unique and delicious combination.
- Chicken and Burdock Bread (150 yen): A surprising and tasty combination of burdock, chicken, and carrots with mayonnaise.
- Fissel (German Bacon) Bread (195 yen): A French bread filled with potato salad and bacon, offering a satisfying and hearty bite.
- Hat Bread (120 yen): A fun and interesting bread with a soft and cookie-like texture, perfect for a snack or dessert.
From hard bread to snack bread, the bakery offers a variety of options at affordable prices. I only bought four items this time, but each one was delicious. Thank you for the feast!

Hankyu "Fuku-Tenjin Station" is a cute bakery with a blue tent located about 400m west of it. It is pronounced "Techu & Sun". It opened in June 2013. Inside the store, there are two aisles with bread lined up on both sides and in the middle. However, the aisles are quite narrow so you can't pass by each other. Oh, is it because I'm big? [No Smoking] The interior of the store is non-smoking. I bought four types of bread. - Curry Bread 140 yen ... The curry inside is mild and even children can eat it. However, the surface is hard and surprising. It's not crispy, it's crunchy? No, it's crispy. - Rusk 120 yen ... It seems to be French bread turned into rusk, but it's also too hard. It's brittle (^^; Be careful if you have bad teeth! It might break (^^; - Egg Salad 130 yen ... There are sausages inside. (I didn't eat it) - Ham Egg 150 yen ... It looks like it's placed half-cooked and apparently tasted good (I didn't eat it) Overall, there is a lot of reasonably priced deli bread. 2014.1.18

I was looking for a bakery that sells pudding and ended up at this shop. The pudding was small but just right at 120 yen, perfect for sharing and trying different things. The taste was nostalgic and I definitely want to eat it again. The bread was also delicious and reasonably priced, so I wouldn't mind going out of my way to buy it. I bought Anpanman bread for my daughter, even though she doesn't like red bean paste, she enjoyed it because it had chocolate inside. I will definitely go back to buy more.

Today I went to a bakery in a residential area, possibly a student area, where the prices were generally affordable. They mainly had savory breads as it was morning, with only about 3 types of sweet breads available. The shop had a small country-style vibe. I chose a French bread with German potato filling and a walnut cookie bread with lots of walnuts on top. I paid at the counter and took them home. The German bread was large, so I sliced it into 4 pieces and toasted them. The bread was crispy and had a nice texture. I really liked it, it was delicious. The soft potato filling inside went well with the crispy bread. The walnut cookie bread didn't have a strong impact at first, but as I chewed, the sweetness of the bread and the taste of the cookie came through. Overall, if I have free time in the morning, I might go for a walk and visit this bakery again.

I mistakenly thought the name of the shop was "Tetsu & Tomo" at first glance. But upon closer inspection, it seems different. However, I still tend to read it as "Tetsu & Tomo" at a glance. I have a hard time remembering the name of the shop. I still haven't memorized it, it's like "Tetsu & something, what was it?" I visited all the shops in Hattori before the consumption tax increase. This shop was no exception. Since it was in the evening, there weren't many bread left, but the takoyaki bread and the chewy mentaiko bread looked very delicious, so I chose those. Also, there was a rare bread crust, so I picked that up and found out that there was a 30 yen donation fee. Some shops charge for bread crusts, while others give them for free, but I didn't know there was a donation fee as well. This shop will also raise its prices in April. It must be tough for bakeries and pastry shops. Since the unit price is not that high to begin with, and ingredients like butter and flour are reportedly getting more expensive (I don't use butter or flour, so I don't know much about that), they have no choice but to raise prices. It's tough. The bread was delicious, especially the mentaiko bread, which was really chewy and as I chewed, the flavor increased and it was very tasty.

Located 400m west from the Hankyu Takarazuka Line Fushimi Station, this bakery opened in 2013. Their signature item, the "Yugone Shokupan Asuka," caught my eye at a bread event at a department store and I decided to purchase it. This bread is made without eggs, using a dough that is kneaded with hot water and left to rest in the refrigerator overnight. The fluffy bread dough has a chewy texture when eaten as is. When lightly toasted, it becomes crispy and flavorful. This bread is perfect for everyday dining.

- The bread with lots of chestnuts inside has a chewy texture. The chestnuts provide a satisfying crunch.
- It is made using the Yudane method, resulting in a chewy and fluffy texture.
- The "Boushi Pan" is a popular item here. It's a large-sized bread from Kochi Prefecture. Thank you for the meal.
