I was looking for a delicious Western-style restaurant in Hirano Ward, and I found a restaurant that I had been to when it first opened. I searched on Tabelog to see if it was still open, and even though I didn't have a reservation on a weekday, when I arrived at 11:30, there were seats available and I was seated right away. I had the hamburger and shrimp fry set lunch, which came with salad, fruit, and a drink for about 1500 yen. The taste was still delicious, and the lychee fruit was especially tasty. The pudding and mango pudding were also homemade and delicious. I had a leisurely lunch with my friends, chatting until 3 pm, and the staff didn't seem to mind at all. They were very friendly. The omurice also looked delicious, so I would like to come back again next time. Thank you for the meal!

The salad bar had a variety of salads, potato salad, pasta, corn, and more, which got me excited. When the hamburger arrived, the staff poured demi-glace sauce on the hot plate, so I could enjoy the hot hamburger. It was not too meaty but rather soft. The portion of spaghetti and potatoes was large, and I couldn't even go for seconds at the salad bar because I was already full. The shrimp curry and shrimp pilaf that my in-laws ordered also looked delicious. Thank you for the meal ★

We visited this restaurant after many years as a family, with my 69-year-old father leading the way. The nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant with tables and a counter makes it easy for families and solo diners to enjoy. I tried the hamburger and shrimp fry set made in the open kitchen. The hamburger was juicy and delicious, while the shrimp fry was crispy and generously portioned. The young staff in the dining area were energetic and pleasant, and I hope the elderly chefs in the kitchen also continue to work hard!

The steak curry alone costs 1300 yen (tax included), and adding the set costs an additional 500 yen (tax included), which includes a drink, soup, and salad bar. There are about 6 drink options, such as fresh orange juice and apple vinegar. The soup seems to be only onion soup. The salad bar was half dessert-like. Overall, I think the 500 yen set is a reasonable price. The steak curry had slightly tough meat and a sweet curry sauce. Next time, I might try the omurice.

I came with a friend by car to have lunch. The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. There were lunch boxes being sold in front of the store, and they looked delicious. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the waitress brought it over and told me to open the paper apron in front of my chest. She poured sauce onto the sizzling hot plate with the hamburger, and the sound and smell were amazing. I immediately tried the perfectly fried shrimp fry, but it was a bit too crispy. The hamburger was delicious with the sauce, so I enjoyed it with the rice, although the portion was a bit small.

Recently, I learned that it is part of the Fuji Foods Group. The Osaka branch manager had been with Koichiya for a long time, but a new branch manager took over last October. The new manager has their office in Higashisumiyoshi Ward. I often have to deliver documents to the manager's office. On this particular day, I had a busy schedule going from one place to another, ending up in Higashisumiyoshi Ward. After finishing my tasks, I decided to visit this restaurant. The restaurant has a fairly high rating on Tabelog, so I had high hopes. The staff seemed to be making efforts for infection prevention. Upon entering, we were instructed to use hand sanitizer by the staff. We were seated at a table with enough distance from other customers. However, it seemed like the restaurant got crowded quickly after we arrived. I ordered the demi-glace sauce hamburger set to share with my wife. The set came with a salad bar, soup, and rice. The plate for the salad bar that was brought to my wife was dirty, so we asked for a replacement. The soup container was not clearly labeled, but we eventually figured it out from the menu and a sign in the restaurant. The demi-glace sauce hamburger was served on a hot plate. The sizzling sound as the sauce was poured over it was quite impressive, but it caused the sauce to splatter. It would have been nice to have a warning about the splattering sauce. Despite the mishap with the sauce, the hamburger itself was delicious. The hot plate may have been too hot, causing the sauce to thicken. My wife also shared the same opinion. Overall, we understood the style of this restaurant. The next day, I received a call from a hospital in Kagoshima saying that my mother had been in an accident and was being urgently transported with a head injury. The details were unclear, but they mentioned needing to do an MRI and X-ray due to heavy bleeding. I couldn't reach my father. I sent my wife back to Kagoshima on the Sakura train at 2:06 PM. This was not a leisure trip, so I hope for your understanding.

It would be better to use smaller plates or add more side dishes to make it look more substantial. During my visit from 11:00 to 12:00, four groups ate in and around five ordered takeout, but only two groups were greeted with a "welcome". There was a lack of smiles in the service, except for one takeout customer who seemed to be a regular. Very disappointing.
