Had a great time at a casual, cost-effective restaurant where we could make a lot of noise, drink plenty, and eat well. Beer was served in bottles and we could sip from glasses, which was perfect for our first round of drinks. The beer brand was Maltz, Maltz, Maltz. The fried food and motsunabe were delicious. I particularly liked the cheese spring rolls and spicy chicken wings. It was a fun drinking party with lots of big smiles. Thank you for the great meal!

A family of four had motsunabe near Hakata Station and it was delicious. The grilled chicken skewers were very tasty, as well as the chicken wings. The sesame mackerel had a small portion, so it felt a bit lacking. The motsunabe, ordered for two people, had a sufficient amount and tasted delicious with a soy sauce flavor. The noodles at the end were also very tasty. Overall, we were satisfied.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. The interior has quite a lot of seats! Due to the pandemic, there were fewer customers. Looking at the menu, I felt that it would be enjoyable for a large group as well. I enjoyed my time there to the fullest. The seats were comfortable with partitions that closed, giving a private room feel. I had a great time and would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

◆Buaiso Hakata Chikushiguchi Store (Senbero during Happy Hour?)◆ Located a 3-4 minute walk from Hakata Station Chikushiguchi, Buaiso Hakata Chikushiguchi Store is a fairly large establishment, but due to the impact of the coronavirus, there are fewer customers. From Sunday to Thursday until 19:00, they offer Happy Hour specials such as Lemon Sour, Jim Beam Highball, Oolong Highball, Green Tea Highball, Jasmine Highball for ¥150, and Premium Malt for ¥250. It's already 18:15, so we hurried to drink up! Since it's an izakaya, they serve an "otoshi" (appetizer), which is a bit disappointing at this place (otoshi costs around ¥300). The Hakata-style bite-sized dumplings (8 pieces) were surprisingly delicious at half price during Happy Hour for ¥231. They make a good accompaniment to drinks like clam skewers. However, the pork belly was not as good in terms of quality. The pickled lotus root with pork belly was okay as a palate cleanser. I thought it might be worth revisiting during Happy Hour, but I'm not sure about outside of that time. During Happy Hour, having 3 drinks, eating dumplings, and getting an otoshi costs just over ¥1,100.

Today, I went on a business trip to Hakata for the first time in a while. After finishing a meeting, I went to this restaurant near the station. The interior was calm with private rooms. Since I came all the way to Hakata, I ordered motsunabe (tripe hot pot) and gyoza. Even though I ordered for 2 people, the portion was huge. The soup was incredibly delicious. We also ordered a platter of assorted sashimi halfway through, and it was also delicious. Fukuoka has great sashimi. I would love to use this restaurant for business entertainment or parties in the future.

I went to a popular izakaya called Buaiso at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit! The atmosphere inside was a bit unsettling with the electronic cigarette in-store media, but the food and drinks were good value for money! The place was almost full. They had a Happy Hour deal where you could get a draft beer for 200 yen until 7 pm. The food was light but you just had to order it, like the motsunabe (tripe hot pot) and gyoza! The motsunabe was really delicious! It had a soy sauce flavor that was really tasty. The presentation was a bit messy with burnt cabbage, which was a downside. I think it's a good place for casual dining or even for parties.

Received items: Edamame, octopus with wasabi, salad, and various other dishes. Once the basic items were served, we could order more from the all-you-can-eat menu. It felt like a menu catered towards students. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A group of 6 friends had a friendly gathering for drinks, but one person came all the way from Okayama, and despite it being Friday, they had not made a reservation until the same day. What a disaster. But wait! Online reservations available! Private room for 6 people! All-you-can-drink! Close to the station! It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! We gathered happily and ordered drinks with a request for them to be strong, and they were! The beer was great, and we ordered two dishes for the single item all-you-can-drink deal. The food took a while to arrive, and we had to rush to order before the drink order cut-off time. The young staff was busy, and the last order for drinks was miraculously fulfilled. It was a night of deciding never to go back to that place again. Goodbye, my youth. Goodbye, Anmitsu Princess. Thank you for the memories. The kimchi came in tiny plates, which made us all laugh. The spicy lotus root was delicious. The yakitori took an hour to arrive, but we appreciated the effort. It was a night without photos.

This time, the target of the "Choi Nomitcho" is "Bua Iso Hakata Chikushi-guchi-ten". The location is a 3-4 minute walk from Hakata Station Chikushi-guchi, on the 2nd floor of a building. Upon entering the restaurant and trying to order a choi nomi set, I noticed that it was actually during Happy Hour (4-7pm). Beers and highballs are only 150 yen no matter how many you drink. I wondered which was more cost-effective, ordering the choi nomi set or just getting drinks during Happy Hour. When I asked the staff, I found out that the choi nomi set includes 2 small draft beers and a red pizza (usually 680 yen) for a flat rate of 1,000 yen. On the other hand, during Happy Hour, the draft beer is only 150 yen for a medium glass. So, ordering separately might actually be more cost-effective. Therefore, I decided to order the "Omelette with Mentaiko Sauce (420 yen, separate)" that I wanted to try along with a medium draft beer. We were seated at a table for 4 with a nice view of the outside from the window. The omelette was promptly served and was beautifully presented with a generous portion. The hotel-quality omelette was well-made, and the mentaiko sauce was elegant and delicious. It was far superior to the morning omelettes at cafes in Tenjin Chikagai. After that, they brought an appetizer, but I passed on it due to not liking the ingredients. When I asked about it, they said that the appetizer fee is always charged. The main issue was whether Happy Hour or choi nomi was more cost-effective. The staff did not mention the appetizer fee when we were discussing this, which was a bit of a surprise. I decided to switch the appetizer to sesame tofu instead. The appetizer was a small dish, and it seemed like a strategic move to try to recoup some of the Happy Hour savings with the 345 yen appetizer fee. I ordered another draft beer and decided to wrap up before things got worse. The total bill was 1,098 yen. If you're not using the choi nomi set, it's almost the same price. In conclusion, if you're going to order the choi nomi set, maybe it's better to do so after Happy Hour ends at 7pm? It's not bad, but... Thank you for the meal.

The staff's attitude was cold and indifferent despite not being busy, and the service for both food and drinks was slow.

It seems that there were many reservations, so the food and drinks took a while to come out. The staff were not unfriendly, but the waiting time was long. Adding items outside of the set course may be refused depending on the menu.
