The restaurant is often featured on TikTok and the name reminds me of Jiro-style ramen, so my expectations were high. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday and I was the only customer at the counter. I ordered the BBQ set meal for 1,000 yen. The set meal included 200g each of lean meat, ribs, chicken thigh, and beef tongue. The table had a gas stove, plates, tongs, and a small pot of chopped garlic. The chopped garlic didn't seem to be domestically produced, but it didn't have the strong taste typical of foreign garlic, which was good. The meal included water, dipping sauce, a large soup, kimchi, meat, bean sprouts, and rice. The dipping sauce was soy sauce-based and light, similar to the sauce at Tsuruhashi. The large soup had plenty of seaweed and beaten egg, with a sweet Japanese-style flavor. The kimchi seemed to be seasoned for Japanese tastes, and the bean sprouts were stir-fried in a light ponzu flavor. The meat, the main attraction, was all fresh and of good quality. The lean meat that looked dry was actually tender when cooked, and the ribs, which I tried for the first time, had a great texture and were juicy, which I really liked. Personally, I was a bit disappointed that the portions didn't seem as large in person as they did on screen, but overall it was a good amount of food that didn't make me sleepy after lunch. It's a wallet-friendly place that I would like to visit again.
