Today's lunch was in Namba, Osaka. It's been a while since I've been to Minami. I finished work in the morning and was released in the early afternoon. That means... I'm free! First things first, let's eat. I remembered a ramen shop I had bookmarked, so I searched for it and thought of Men no Yoji. I arrived at the shop just before 2 PM, and there were four people lined up outside. I joined the line patiently. Come to think of it, it's been almost 10 years since I last ate here when they changed their name and reopened. I bought a ticket from the vending machine and was able to enter the shop in about 20 minutes. Before long, the Chicken Broth Extreme Salt Ramen (large serving) was brought to me. I took a sip of the clear broth with chicken oil floating on top. Oh, it's delicious! I don't remember the taste being like this before. It was good back then, but it seems much better now. The rich chicken flavor with a light mouthfeel is irresistible. A top-notch soup that salt and chicken lovers will adore. I slurped up the medium-thin straight noodles. The wheat aroma and chewy texture are nice. The noodles smoothly pass through my throat, entwined with the soup. This is good. It's delicious. The tender char siu melts in your mouth. The seared chicken meat is flavorful. And the flavored egg goes without saying. This ramen has a well-balanced overall taste. I'm sure the owner of this place will continue to evolve. I'm curious about the cold ramen the customer next to me was eating, so I'll come back to try it again. Thank you for the meal.

Yesterday, craving for ramen after having some, I visited "Men no Youji". It was selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops for 5 consecutive years, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes before getting in. I tried their chicken tsukemen, which was surprisingly light and delicious. The chicken salt ramen that the person next to me was eating looked appetizing as well. Rating: ★★★☆☆ 3 stars Men no Youji Phone: 06-6214-0670 Address: 2-1-2 Takatsu, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Osaka https://tabelog.com/osaka/A2701/A270202/27072765/ #MennoYouji #ChickenRamen #ChickenTsukemen #MinamiGourmet #MinamiFoodie

Thank you for always viewing. If you like it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the store by clicking the "Save Store" button. It's a day for exchanging information with fishing friends! The first stop on the ladder plan is a first visit to Men no Youji, as requested by my husband. Men no Youji is located at 2-1-2 Takatsu, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, a 10-minute walk from Tanimachi Kyuchome Station on the Osaka Metro. It has been selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops in the Foodlog Ramen WEST for six consecutive years. We arrived at the store just before 2 p.m. Closed on Wednesdays. Business hours are 11:30-14:40 (LO 14:20) and 18:00-21:00 (LO 20:30). There was no waiting outside the store, and we purchased tickets from the ticket machine outside. The menu is limited to three types: salt, soy sauce, and dipping noodles, with one limited option. After consulting with my fishing friends, my husband ordered the Chicken Stock Extreme Salt Ramen, with half chashu and half egg toppings, and a rare chashu bowl. The total came to 1,450 yen. We entered the store, handed over the meal tickets, and took our seats at a table. The current owner is the third generation, and today, both the previous owner and the current owner are working. When I came to Men no Youji, I wanted to take a picture of this sketch of "husband, wife, child, grandchild." After a short wait, the dishes arrived. My fishing friend ordered soy sauce ramen, which had a great aroma! Let's eat! First, the soup! The golden soup shimmering with chicken oil uses plenty of whole chicken and chicken bones. When you take a sip, the chicken aroma and umami spread directly in your mouth, and it's incredibly delicious! The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles from Menya Teioku! The wheat-scented noodles have a firm texture and a smooth throat feel, and they also blend well with the soup. The ingredients include two types of chashu, green onions, onions, seasoned eggs, bamboo shoots, kaiware radish, arare (crispy rice crackers), yuzu peel, and chicken stock! It's rare to see arare, and the yuzu peel does a great job, while both the chicken and pork chashu are superb with the meaty umami and saltiness as you chew. The rare chashu bowl is hearty! The large rare chashu pieces on top of plenty of rice are generous. It was delicious until the end, and we thanked everyone and left Men no Youji. Husband, thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I will come again! Thank you for reading to the end. I hope this information on gourmet food can be of some help to you.

This time, I visited Men no Youji-san. The "Chicken Paitan Ramen" that was previously offered is back, so I couldn't resist and went to try it. This time, the Chicken Paitan is soy sauce flavored. The original taste of Chicken Paitan at Men no Youji-san is soy sauce. I was really looking forward to it. When I took a bite, I thought, "Mmm, delicious." The concentrated flavor of the white soup with thin noodles was amazing. I enjoyed it light and finished it quickly. It was truly a masterpiece and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited Men no Yoji in Takatsu, Chuo-ku, Osaka. When I visited the other day, I heard that the dipping broth for the Chicken Doro Tsukemen would change to chicken and pork, so I made sure to try it. When the dish arrived, the simmering dipping broth was a distinctive feature of this tsukemen. As I dipped the noodles and took a bite, I felt a sense of nostalgia. The chicken-based broth is delicious, but the chicken and pork base is also very tasty. The texture of the noodles is great, and you can enjoy the dipping broth until the very end without it getting cold. After finishing the noodles, I was stuffed from the delicious meal. It was a very satisfying experience. Thank you for the meal~.

I visited Men no Yoji, located about a 10-minute walk from Nipponbashi Station on the Osaka Metro. This time, I tried the "Chicken Doro Tsukemen." The dipping broth was served piping hot, and it was a rich chicken broth that was thick but not overwhelming, and it was delicious. The noodles were medium-thin flat noodles that coated well with the broth. The chashu (sliced roast pork) was also tasty. There were watercress and roasted onions on a separate plate, and when a little sudachi vinegar was added, it gave a refreshing taste. It was a rich and delicious tsukemen. Thank you for the meal!

Osaka Top 100 Restaurants Journey #4 Osaka Dotonbori Mieno Yoji Chicken Broth Extreme Salt Ramen 900 yen --- * --- * --- * --- (*☻-☻*) Light chicken salt soup with firm wheat noodles. The grilled chicken is fragrant and delicious, with onions adding a nice touch. It was just right for a finishing ramen after okonomiyaki.

Rich. But not heavy! I was in the mood for something hearty, so I ordered the "Chicken Doro Tsukemen". The dipping sauce comes out piping hot! It's boiling and thick, just like the name suggests, almost like magma. Because of the thick sauce, it coated the noodles well and allowed me to enjoy the rich flavor of the chicken. By the time I finished, the sauce was almost gone due to how well it coated the noodles. I added a citrus vinegar for a refreshing change of taste, which helped me finish the meal with a light feeling. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

This time, I went to Mennoyoji-san. I've been trying their limited edition noodles recently, so I decided to go for their signature dish, "Chicken Doro Tsukemen". When the piping hot dipping broth was served, it gently enveloped the well-cooked noodles. The combination was irresistible. The rich flavor of the chicken-infused dipping broth remained delicious until the last bite. I couldn't resist and finished it all in no time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This time, I visited Men no Yoji-san. I tried their summer limited edition "Agodashi Cold Ramen" spin-off, "Agodashi Cold Udon". This dish features special udon noodles from Men no Yoji-san, which when combined with the rich agodashi broth, creates a unique and delicious dish. The broth and noodles complement each other well. The fragrant perilla leaves, the delicious rare chashu, and the addition of sesame oil halfway through the meal all enhance the experience. I enjoyed the ramen part, finishing the dish quickly and satisfyingly. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Men no Youji after work around 7 PM in Nihonbashi, along Matsuyacho Street. Luckily, there was no line at the storefront. I bought a meal ticket at the ticket machine and sat at the counter. This time, I tried the summer limited edition dish, the cold soup with dried fish ramen. The cold soup had a delicious flavor of dried fish, with a perfect amount of saltiness. The homemade thin noodles were firm and went well with the cold soup. The dish also had toppings like yuzu flavor, crispy menma, green vegetables, red sprouts, and shiso flower, which added a nice texture and flavor. The cherry tomatoes were a great addition to the cold dish. The rare chashu had a good chewy texture and was tasty. I also had a side of egg over rice with nori and dashi soy sauce, which was also delicious. Overall, the cold ramen at Men no Youji was a refreshing and tasty meal for the summer.

I found a ramen shop on Instagram that caught my interest! There was a coin parking lot near the shop. The interior of the shop was very small, with 4 counter seats and 2 table seats. You buy a meal ticket outside before entering. There was no line, so we were able to enter right away. I ordered the most popular ramen, which was chicken salt flavored. It was very rich and flavorful. The noodles were smooth and the broth had a nice depth of flavor. The onion and yuzu added a refreshing touch, making it easy to enjoy.

Visited the famous restaurant along Matsuya-machi street again. This time, I ordered the summer limited menu, the chilled ramen with simmered flying fish broth for 1000 yen, along with the chicken thigh chashu bowl. The toppings included chashu pork, tomato, greens, bamboo shoots, red sprouts, and shiso leaves. The thin straight noodles had a wheat flavor and a firm texture. The chilled simmered flying fish broth was refreshing and complemented the noodles well. The chicken thigh chashu bowl was my favorite side dish, with tender chicken thigh and flavorful sauce bringing out the best of the meat.

I lined up a little early for lunch at Men no Youji in Osaka! I ordered the special soy sauce ramen in a large portion! The noodles were smooth! The chashu was made with pork and chicken. The soup had a nice layer of fat floating on top and was delicious!

This time, I visited Men no Youji-san. A summer classic, "Agodashi Cold Ramen." A spin-off of this masterpiece, "Agodashi Cold Udon-like Ramen," is quietly offered, so I decided to try this one. The noodles used in "Agodashi Cold Ramen" are made with Men no Youji-san's wheat flour noodles, but the noodles in "Agodashi Cold Udon-like Ramen" are Men no Youji-san's special thick noodles. These noodles look like udon, but they are actually ramen noodles. They go well with the light soup. When you add the sesame oil halfway through, it transforms into ramen. This is truly delicious. I enjoyed it crisply and finished it smoothly. Thank you for the meal. (Please note that the photo is from last year due to equipment malfunction.)

I went to Osaka to eat tsukemen. The original shop I wanted to go to was out of noodles, so I chose this place nearby. I arrived just in time for the first seating without having to wait in line. The restaurant quickly filled up. I chose the second most popular tsukemen. The hot soup was brought to me, scalding until the very end. The flavor was well-rounded, rich, and deep, with a high level of satisfaction. It was very delicious. I will definitely come back again.

This time, I visited Men no Yoji for some summer specialties, including the Aji Niboshi Cold Ramen. I also ordered the Kobe beef sukiyaki bowl. The transparent soup with colorful vegetables and the unique noodles were delicious. The Kobe beef sukiyaki bowl was a perfect combination of homemade sauce and rich Kobe beef fat. It was truly satisfying. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The soup is lightly seasoned, closer to a mild flavor. It lacks a punch, but it has variations in taste with kaiware (radish sprouts), arare (crispy rice crackers), and shredded chicken. The chicken oil adds a light buttery flavor, which is interesting. The noodles are cooked al dente, giving them a firm texture. The portion size is small, around 80-100g, so it may not be filling enough. The chashu (sliced pork) comes in two types: thinly sliced like shabu-shabu and seared. The aftertaste is slightly sweet, but the umami flavor is lacking, so you need to be aware of the light seasoning while eating.
