During a business trip, I often do desk work in the car, but my laptop ran out of battery... so I went to Komeda Cafe. I tried their collaboration with Mont Blanc, which was in a small size but quite large. However, it was delicious. I had it with iced coffee.

This time, we visited Komeda Coffee in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, located at 1-16-20 Higashi Naka. We used their morning set, and they have a parking lot available. Until 11 am, you get a morning set with any drink order. I ordered the Komeda Blend coffee for 500 yen. For the morning set, I chose the Yamagata bread, boiled egg, and added a mini salad with butter for 260 yen. The dressing options were soy sauce and their original dressing, and I chose soy sauce. The coffee had a deep flavor with a mild bitterness, making it easy to drink. The Yamagata bread was crispy and the thick slices were a nice touch. I hope they continue this service in the future, although there might be price increases due to the current circumstances. Thank you for the meal.

Of course it has to be satin, right? When it comes to satin in Nagoya, it has to be Komeda! So I had morning coffee at Komeda Coffee, a Nagoya-based chain. The sizes are definitely big. Thank you for the meal. I'm full from the coffee, haha.

Today, I ordered a special pizza and premium coffee Sophia, which is different from my usual choice. The pizza was a pan pizza and it was delicious because it was piping hot. It seemed like a taste that would be popular among a wide range of people. I enjoyed the taste of Sophia as well. It has been a while since I last used the lunchtime service and the restaurant was crowded with customers. It might be better to come a little later to avoid the crowd.

This is still a great restaurant. You can't go wrong with having breakfast here. The coffee is delicious, and so are the beans. They also have power outlets, which is great for businessmen. I have been a fan of Komeda since I was in Nagoya. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

When I was in Tokyo, my go-to place for a break on weekends was often Le***r. Here in Fukuoka, I'm using Komeda Coffee Shop in a similar way. It's amazing how a Nagoya-born establishment has become so popular nationwide. I have memories of visiting it every time I was on a business trip to Nagoya in the past. Yes, it's time for a break! It's crowded, but waiting in line at Komeda Coffee Shop is a rare experience for me since New Year's. The efficient and polite staff make the wait enjoyable. And the blend coffee is great for a break. I didn't eat anything extra this time, especially since I'm getting vaccinated soon. I stayed for about an hour, but it flew by in an instant. I visited the restaurant in response to my partner's request (I want to eat the Gracoro for 580 yen!). I thought it was a Gracoro, but it's actually a Clacro! I ordered the Ogura Noir for 750 yen as a coffee accompaniment (I like strawberries). Looking back, I ordered the same thing last year at this time. It's always delicious as usual! This is a revisit. This area is definitely inconvenient without a car. It was almost full during lunchtime on the weekend. I ordered two blends for 550 yen each, a katsu curry bread from Nakamuraya for 880 yen, and a small black noir for 750 yen. It was delicious, but it felt a bit expensive for a busy lunch. The seasonal feeling of the small black noir with strawberries was nice. In this day and age, we need to at least uplift our mood somehow! Thank you for the meal.

I woke up early to get a 1000 yen haircut and decided to have breakfast at a nearby restaurant as the drug store I usually visit was still closed. It had been a while since I last visited Komeda's, about 2 and a half years ago in Kochi. When I arrived at around 9:50, the parking lot was already full of cars. I had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. I ordered the C Morning set which included Nagoya's famous Ogura toast and a cup of blended coffee. The restaurant was bustling with customers, showing that coffee culture is also strong in Fukuoka. The coffee was delicious, not too acidic and easy to drink. The Ogura bean paste on the toast was just right in sweetness and paired well with the butter. The portion of toast was a bit small, but overall, it was a satisfying breakfast. The total bill came to 450 yen, which I thought was reasonable. After finishing my coffee, I left the restaurant to continue my shopping.

Komeda Coffee offers a stable café experience. Today, I enjoyed a leisurely weekend lunch. I was torn between the katsu sandwich and the gratin, but ended up trying the gratin for the first time. The white cream and cheese melted together gently, bringing a smile to my face. The chicken was in bite-sized pieces and the skin was crispy! If you love family chicken, this is a perfect match. Komeda Coffee is affordable and leaves you feeling satisfied. Thank you very much.

After enjoying a bowl of ramen with my close friends, we decided to visit Komeda Coffee in Fukuoka Higashi-Naka store. We looked at the menu and I realized that I rarely have the opportunity to try the food menu at Komeda Coffee, as I usually come here for coffee meetings or to enjoy sweets with my kids. Since I had only eaten chicken soba and a mini katsudon at a previous restaurant, I was still a bit hungry. I was planning to order the miso katsu sandwich, but then I saw a sign advertising the limited-time offer of katsu curry bread. I thought to myself, "I have to try it before it's gone!" So, I ended up ordering the katsu curry bread, a chocolate mont blanc, and a generous blend coffee. The others in my group ordered dishes like the egg-topped visa toast and the shironoir. While waiting, we snacked on the familiar beans that Komeda Coffee provides and chatted happily. Eventually, the katsu curry bread arrived! It was a large bread filled with a huge piece of katsu, sliced into three pieces. It also had cabbage and curry sauce on top. I took a bite and was impressed by how delicious it was. The bread was tasty, the katsu was crispy, and the combination of cabbage and curry sauce was great. The portion size was also very satisfying. I shared a bit with the others, and we all enjoyed it. I also had a taste of the egg-topped visa toast, which was a luxurious and voluminous dish with a generous amount of egg filling between toasted bread, topped with pizza sauce and cheese. It was delicious as well. After finishing the katsu bread, I moved on to the chocolate mont blanc. It was a chocolate cake with an orange sauce, rich yet slightly tangy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a delightful experience to chat with friends and enjoy delicious food together. I still have some items on the menu at Komeda Coffee that I haven't tried yet, so I look forward to visiting again. Komeda Coffee is great for people like me who prefer having partitions. It's nice not having to see the crowd that opens their laptops at a coffee shop, haha. Also, it seems like the beans that come with the coffee are surprisingly popular. On this day, I ordered a milk coffee and a Mont Blanc. The cream had a strong chestnut flavor. ✨

Recently, I tried the famous Shiro Noir (half) at Komeda Coffee, which is gaining popularity in Fukuoka. It's a Danish pastry topped with soft serve ice cream and syrup - a crazy combination created by Komeda! It's so delicious that it's a one-way ticket to becoming chubby! The sweet and warm Danish pastry combined with the cold soft serve ice cream creates a unique and indescribable texture. And when you wash it down with cold coffee, it's just perfect! This dessert is dangerous for adults but something I wish I had tried when I was a kid! Laughing out loud.

It was a quiet and comfortable restaurant with a spacious parking lot, located not far from Hakata Station in Fukuoka City.

I secretly ate it all, from the hole to the ice cream inside. The ice cream was packed, the chocolate was plentiful, and the cocoa-scented baumkuchen always has a gentle taste. As expected, Komeda's desserts are exceptional.

The cocoa soft serve ice cream is very filling and satisfying with its generous portion!

On August 5, 2020, the regular iced coffee was priced at 450 yen.

Relaxing tea time. I'm not a big fan of coffee, but the sandwiches are very filling. I'm full. I want to try to recreate it at home.
