I revisited this place because I had a good experience last time, but even though I ordered the same menu, the chicken was so crispy that I thought it might have been double-fried. The rice was also kind of mushy. Maybe I had high expectations because of my previous visit? It was disappointing. Thank you for the meal. ☘️

It's been a while since I visited LaLaport and the restaurant area was surprisingly crowded even on weekdays. Every store had a waiting line around noon. I tried a new restaurant and ordered the fried chicken set with an option to change to soba noodles. The soba noodles had a nice texture and tasted delicious as usual.

Salt-grilled Atka mackerel set meal for 1,450 yen. There are various set meals available. The main dish (salt-grilled Atka mackerel) can be changed to sashimi, chicken nanban, or shrimp fry depending on the price. The side dishes were tamagoyaki, macaroni salad, and kinpira gobou, which were just average. The warabi mochi dessert was delicious. The salt-grilled Atka mackerel was very tasty. The restaurant was established in 1979.

There is a teishoku restaurant inside LaLaport Izumi. It opens at 11 am, and when we arrived at 11:30, there were about 15 people waiting in line. The restaurant had plenty of empty seats inside, but there was a long line outside. We waited for about 20-30 minutes before being seated. I ordered the Chicken Nanban teishoku with lots of tartar sauce for 1180 yen, and my companion ordered the Hiroshima oyster fry and grilled conger eel rice teishoku for 1650 yen. The rice in the ohitsu was enough for about 2 servings! The red miso soup with plenty of clams, 4 small side dishes, pickles, salad, Chicken Nanban, and rice made for a huge meal! The main Chicken Nanban dish had plenty of tartar sauce and came with about 4 large pieces of fried chicken, which were delicious and piping hot. They first brought us water, but then promptly brought us tea at just the right time. I was impressed by how well they managed to provide good service despite being busy. When we left, there was still a line outside. Thank you for the meal! ★

March 2, 2021: Lalaport. There are many specialty cheese restaurants and junk food places. Today, I had Japanese food at a shop by Fuji Food. The red snapper was delicious! I had a second helping of rice and felt quite full. Yummy! I ordered the red snapper simmered rice set for 1,380 yen (tax included). Thank you for the meal.

After finishing the visit to Uchida's grave, my family and I went to Lalaport for the first time (*´∀`*)ﾉ｡+゜*｡(I occasionally go to the one in Senri (←)www)※It was totally unexpected to find such a big shopping center in Uchida, so I was in a daze just walking around...(^_^;) I was happy to see a Japanese restaurant there☆ミ(I forgot the name of the menu I ordered that day...orz) It was quite delicious, so I'm glad we decided to eat there♬ The staff were very friendly, so I want to bring my husband next time∧(ё)∧

I ordered a sashimi set meal for 1380 yen. The photo is of my friend's order from the same menu. The sashimi was thick and satisfying, but the small dishes in the four compartments were terrible. They looked like they were cut and packed in a factory, and the taste was not good either. The burdock kinpira, macaroni salad, two slices of pre-made tamagoyaki with different thickness, and pre-made warabi mochi were disappointing. The warabi mochi was okay, but with about four people wearing chef hats, the presentation was unacceptable. The display outside had deep-fried eggplant, nikujaga, homemade tamagoyaki, and an orange. It's fine if the seasonal small dishes vary, but the difference in quality between the display and the actual meal was too much. I felt like I never wanted to go back. I couldn't feel the spring season at all. Looking at old photos, there were pictures that looked delicious, but perhaps things have changed due to budget or lack of staff. They seem to have a good aim with the menu and variety, but the reality is disappointing. It's all show. Maido Ookini Shokudo is not very tasty either, but this was even more disappointing. The sashimi was good in terms of volume. If you're eating for the main dish, it might be okay. It's a chain restaurant, so maybe expecting more is a mistake, but it's a shame that a place where many families come could be like this.

I went shopping at Lalaport on my day off. I thought I should have lunch early because it would be crowded, but it seemed like everyone had the same idea. There was a line at this restaurant too. However, the turnover was fast, so we were able to get in without much of a wait. I ordered the famous "Uchi no Shokudo" set meal for 1180 yen. It came with tempura shrimp, sweet potato, pumpkin, and shishito peppers. The side dishes included rolled omelette, macaroni salad, sautéed burdock root, and bracken-starch dumplings. It also came with miso soup, pickles, and rice served in a wooden rice container, which was quite a generous portion. The taste was like a family-friendly restaurant, but I felt it was a good deal for 1180 yen. My partner ordered the salmon and negitoro set meal for 1080 yen. The rice portion was quite substantial here too! The area of the egg seemed a bit larger than the salmon and negitoro, but for this price, including soba noodles and dessert bracken-starch dumplings, it was still cheap. In the end, I felt sorry for not finishing all the rice, but if you choose a meat dish as the main, even men would be satisfied with the amount of rice. The seating was decent, and they also had a children's menu. Overall, it was a restaurant that was considerate to families.

In Izumi city, there is a restaurant called "Maido Ookini Shokudo" inside the restaurant floor of "Lalaport", which is managed by Fujio Food System, a familiar name. On holidays, there are often lines outside during lunchtime, but this place is no exception. However, the turnover is not bad, and we were able to enter the restaurant fairly quickly. The staff here are very considerate towards families with small children (my wife approves), and they have spacious seating arrangements that allow baby strollers. Their specialty is freshly polished rice cooked in a traditional pot, and the set meal always comes with four different daily side dishes. After much contemplation, I ordered the "Grilled Salted Pacific Saury Set Meal (1280 yen excluding tax)". When the dish arrived, I was a bit disappointed by the tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) side dish, as it was the pre-made type commonly found in bento boxes. Additionally, the unlimited white rice served in a traditional wooden box was a generous and unique touch, although the rice lacked the fragrance and sweetness compared to other Maido Ookini restaurants I frequent. However, the main dish of Pacific Saury was large and juicy, perfectly grilled with just the right amount of salt. The meal also included miso soup with clams and warabi mochi, which was a nice addition. On the other hand, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her hearty "Kids' Lunch (680 yen excluding tax)" and happily devoured it. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Went shopping with my partner at Lalaport♪ During lunchtime, we went to this restaurant♪ We were seated promptly as the place was quite busy♪ We ordered the Ebi Fry and Demi Hamburger set meal, as well as the Kaki Fry and Grilled Conger Eel Rice set meal, both with red miso soup and changed to warm soba♪ It took a while for our food to arrive, but we were satisfied and full♪ Thank you for the meal♪ By the way, when we left, there were over 20 people waiting in line♪

I visited without making a reservation. There was a parking lot so I drove there. I sat at a table and the order came quickly. The taste was light and easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch while shopping. I had the house special set meal, and my wife had the shrimp fry and demi-hamburg set meal. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

It was quite popular so I couldn't resist! I added 150 yen to the 1480 yen beef cutlet set meal and got zaru soba! The rice was delicious!

The main dish came with a variety of side dishes, making it feel like a good deal. This time, I had chicken nanban. It was delicious with plenty of tartar sauce(^o^)
