Recommended udon restaurant for families. I went as the guide, with Aibo driving for the first time. There was no line outside, we only waited for about 3 minutes. As we entered, we were greeted by the lively atmosphere of the udon restaurant and the aroma of the broth. Excitedly looking at the box of shiitake mushrooms in the corner of the shop... Shiitake mushroom and wakame udon (tax included, 800 yen) was delicious, both the broth and noodles were tasty. The broth soaked into the shiitake mushrooms, so delicious! This day was a Sunday, and although they may have changed their schedule to be open on Sundays, it is not every week. My partner was happy to have the chance to go on a Sunday. Thank you for the meal!

Visited for lunch on a day off, plenty of parking nearby including a large supermarket Life. Parked for free while shopping for dinner. Ordered the meat and mushroom tempura on rice with warm egg topping. The noodles were thin and flat, similar to Inaniwa udon, with a nice wheat aroma. The broth was good and matched well with the thin noodles. The portion size was generous. The mushroom tempura was delicious, with a sweet seasoning that paired well with the udon. Very satisfied with the meal. Thank you for the feast.

It's been a while...quite a long time♪(´ε`) Almost 10 years since I last visited? It's been over 5 years since I visited the store in Umeda. The Omise is located just under a minute walk from Takii Station West Exit on the Keihan Main Line♪ There is no parking at the store, so I parked at the nearest coin parking lot♪ I visited outside of lunchtime to avoid the crowds and only had to wait behind 3 groups before entering the store♪ The counter has around 5-6 seats and 3 tables, it seems like they've added more seats since my last visit. I ordered the Nikudouble with sweet and spicy onions and enoki mushrooms on top. The onions and enoki mushrooms were so delicious that I couldn't see straight... (´ε`)ナハハ Doubling the sweet and spicy onions definitely increased my satisfaction♪ I added the included green onions, daikon radish, and ginger, poured the broth over it, and dug in♪ More onions, please♪(´ε`)b The crispy enoki mushrooms were as tasty as ever♪ Thanks to this place, I've learned to enjoy enoki mushrooms♪(´ε`) The chewy, dancing udon noodles were delightful, and even though it's been a while, the taste is still amazing♪(´ε`)b The rice ball had a bit of barley mixed in, and it came with a side of bonito flakes to nibble on... (´ε`)ナハハ Thanks for the delicious meal♪(*´ω`*)(Visited again on 2023/09/17)

I'm a big eater, so I decided to go for a bowl with both enoki mushroom tempura and meat with a soft-boiled egg on top. The noodles had a nice firm texture and the broth was very tasty. It came with grated daikon radish, ginger, and green onions as condiments, and the ginger, especially, really stood out. I added all of them, and they helped balance out the richness of the tempura and meat, making it very delicious. Despite being quite filling, the price was very reasonable. The enoki mushroom tempura and meat were both delicious, but since enoki mushrooms tend to absorb a lot of oil, it felt a bit greasy for me as a middle-aged person, so next time I might choose just one of them. The disappointing aspects were that the toilet was shared and Japanese-style, and the air conditioning was broken, making the inside of the restaurant hot. Additionally, the complimentary tea on the table was room temperature, and the bowl itself was slightly warm, which was particularly bothersome on a hot day. The man who seemed to be the owner was a bit brusque, so those who expect great service might find it off-putting, but it didn't bother me at all. The female staff, on the other hand, were very friendly.

This is a udon restaurant located right in front of Keihan-Takii Station. It seems to be the top contender among the strong noodle shops in the Takii area. I visited just after the opening at around 11 am on a weekday. The restaurant was already more than half full. I sat at the end of the counter. I ordered the top-tier dish, the 1100 yen Meat and Mushroom Warm Egg Udon. The menu offers a selection of toppings, with shiitake mushrooms, meat, wakame seaweed, and a warm egg as the basic combination. The condiments include ginger, green onions, and grated radish. They pour the broth over the udon and mix in all the condiments. The udon noodles were thin with a good chewy texture. The crispy shiitake tempura was light and delicious. The meat was refined, not overly sweet, and very sophisticated in flavor. The combination of the warm egg and bonito flakes was also carefully chosen, creating a harmonious blend of ingredients in the bowl. While there are many great udon shops in Osaka, this one certainly stands out. The service was also attentive, making it a pleasant dining experience.

Arrived around 10:35 on Sunday. Managed to get a seat. Soon after, more customers started arriving, and by the time the store opened, there were 12 people waiting. The direct sunlight was harsh. The staff informed us in advance about the number of people and the opening time at 11:00, and took our orders. Their friendliness was lacking. Masks are required when not eating or drinking. Good thing I had one... We were the first group of 12 to enter when the store opened at 11:02. The waiting time was a bit awkward. The staff prompted us to sanitize our hands, but masks didn't seem to be mandatory. Tea was available on the table but very weak. I mentioned it to the staff and they put ice in the cup for me. It felt like the staff didn't understand the difficulty of waiting in the scorching heat. The air conditioning temperature was also high, so I couldn't stop sweating. The udon arrived around 11:10. It took longer than expected because they boiled all the udon for the first round at once. I prefer to add soy sauce from the table. It was quite salty. Refreshing with yuzu and grated daikon. The udon was chewy and had a good texture. The crispy enoki tempura added a nice texture variation. The meat provided a change in flavor. There was an air conditioner in the middle of the restaurant, and water was dripping continuously, but the staff didn't say anything or apologize. The toilet was Japanese-style. The food was delicious, but the lack of service or hospitality was disappointing.

At the well-known Takii Station, where you can see the next station from home, there is a restaurant called "Odoru Udon" right nearby. Despite not feeling very hungry due to the heat, I ended up ordering the Niku Maitake Tempura Ontama Bukkake cold udon. The texture of the udon is not quite like Sanuki udon with its firmness, nor is it soft and mushy, but rather a new texture that goes down smoothly. The deliciously fried maitake tempura adds a nice accent, and the sweet and savory meat combined with the broth helped me finish the dish surprisingly quickly! Thank you for the meal!

I went to a Chinese restaurant in Taishibashi Imamiya, but it was closed, so I walked a bit and ended up at a place near Takii Station on the Keihan Electric Railway. When I arrived around 1 pm, there were only two groups waiting, so I decided to line up. While waiting, I received a menu with photos, and I chose the Niku Maitake Tempura Udon. The udon noodles were chewy and had a slight sweetness to them. The dish also had sweet and savory meat, crispy tempura maitake mushrooms, and a flavorful broth that tied everything together perfectly. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a udon restaurant located 20 seconds from Keihan Taki-ike Station in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. I arrived at 10:50 am on a weekday and was the first in line with no wait. The staff handed me the menu before entering and I ordered the Maikake Tempura Udon for 780 yen. The small restaurant has 3 tables and 5 counter seats. They have signs reminding customers to wear masks and sanitize hands. I noticed water dripping from the air conditioner on the ceiling. I received my udon 12 minutes after entering, and the Maikake tempura looked delicious. The condiments were served separately, including grated daikon radish, ginger, and green onions. The tempura was flavorful and the udon had a nice texture. It was a satisfying meal for both mushroom and udon lovers. However, there is no parking available, so the overall cost can be a bit high if you have to pay for parking. Overall, the Maikake Tempura Udon was delicious.

I have visited the Umeda branch before, but this was my first visit to the Takii branch. The udon noodles were not too thick, making them easy to slurp. The maiitake mushrooms were flavorful and satisfying to eat. The onsen tamago (soft boiled egg) didn't seem to make much of a difference.

Hello ♪ It's Ramen Walking❗️ Today is also Udon Day! I visited Odoru Udon Takii Honpo in Takii and had the "Niku Maitake Ten Ontama Bukkake" udon. Takii has many famous restaurants, and today I visited a renowned udon shop. I arrived at 20:10, after dinner time, so there were no other customers. However, when I called earlier, they mentioned that they might run out of noodles, so it's recommended to visit early. I have already experienced the deliciousness of their Umeda branch, so this time I ordered the appealing Bukkake menu.

Niku Maitake Ten Ontama Bukkake for 1,100 yen
The noodles were neatly arranged, slightly thin, and had a good elasticity, making it a bit challenging to slurp as it stretches like rubber when you try to pull it out from under the tempura. The subtle flavor matched well with the flavorful Bukkake soy sauce.
The toppings included Maitake tempura, meat, Ontama (soft-boiled egg), and bonito flakes. Daikon radish, green onion, and grated ginger were served on a separate plate for you to add according to your preference. The crispy Maitake tempura and the sweet and savory simmered meat paired perfectly with the udon. I finished it in no time. It truly was the best udon. Thank you, Odoru Udon Takii Honpo!

I was feeling down after being rejected by Menya Tsumugi, but on my way back home, I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to try their Kitsune Udon. It was incredibly delicious. The smooth and chewy noodles, the crispy tempura with a burst of flavor from the mushrooms, and the slightly sweet and elegant broth all worked together perfectly. The sweetness of the broth comforted my wounded heart. Each addition of condiments brought out different flavors in the broth, and the bonito flakes added depth to the dish. I realized I need to explore more udon shops. Why didn't I choose the beef and mushroom udon in the first place?

I visited the dancing udon restaurant at Osaka Station Building about 5 years ago, but this is my first visit to the main store. I took the afternoon off from work and arrived around 12:40, avoiding the long line that formed outside shortly after I entered. In Umeda, I had the bukkake udon, so this time I opted for a warm udon dish. I ordered: - Niku Maitake Ten Ontama Wakame Udon @1150 - Beer (medium bottle/Asahi Super Dry) @550 The udon arrived in just over 10 minutes after ordering. When they brought it, they said, "Here's your all-topped udon, sorry for the wait," and I immediately felt luxurious seeing all the toppings. The udon was soft and chewy. Even though it's soft, it has a different elasticity compared to Fukuoka udon. The unique texture made the udon stretch as I slurped it. The freshly fried maitake mushrooms and sweet simmered beef were delicious. The broth felt a bit lacking in flavor at first, but as I ate, the flavors from the tempura and meat seeped in, creating a perfect balance. I cracked the warm egg halfway through and mixed it with the noodles and toppings, making sure not to waste any broth. I usually use the Keihan Electric Railway in my daily life, but it was my first time getting off at the nearest station, Takii. Popular restaurants don't always suit my taste, but being a popular spot in this location must mean it's truly delicious.

I was stuck at work on July 25, 2023, and ended up going home late. I was so hungry that I decided to stop by Takii's for dinner. I ordered the "Meat and Mushroom Topped Noodles, Large Serving." Oh, I was starving. The noodles were just about to finish cooking, so they were served promptly. I was relieved. As always, they put a generous amount of meat in the dish, which made me happy. I grabbed a mouthful of noodles and they stretched out as I pulled them. It was amazing. Although it was a bit difficult to chew, I managed to eat it. The taste of the wheat noodles was delicious, and I was completely satisfied. I mixed in the broth and condiments, pulled the noodles, and slurped it up. It was so tasty. The meat was sweet and the mushrooms were crispy, with a divine aroma and flavor. I couldn't stop eating. The deliciousness kept coming in waves. In the end, I drank up all the broth. It was so good. I'm glad I got to eat this. Thank you for the meal. Today's dinner: Meat and Mushroom Topped Noodles, Large Serving - 1150 yen Parking fee - 100 yen

Around 2 pm, I had a late lunch for 1000 yen, which included Maiko Tempura with raw soy sauce. The Maiko Tempura for an additional 100 yen was worth it. The meat, seasoning, and portion were all satisfying. I could have chosen to have extra noodles, but the udon noodles were already deliciously chewy. I usually prefer udon noodles with a firmer texture, but I enjoyed these as well. I can see why this place is popular.

Meat and mushroom tempura udon with warm boiled egg (1100 yen). Despite the scorching heat, there was a wait of nearly 10 people. The udon noodles were soft with a texture reminiscent of Ise udon. The broth had a subtle taste and was elegantly finished. The meat and mushroom tempura had a satisfying volume and were well-balanced. Although the price seemed a bit high for udon, it was explained that it was due to a rise in ingredient costs. Overall, it was a good experience.

I came to a udon restaurant! Dancing Udon-san Main Store!! It's located in a local area but there was a line! Amazing!! The recommended dish seems to be cold udon, but I wanted to try the soup, so I chose hot udon! Maiko Tempura Udon! The soup is delicious too!! The noodles are smooth and slippery!!

15 years ago, I discovered this restaurant by chance. There is also a second branch in Umeda, but I often visit the main store in the neighboring district. I always order the "Niku Maitake Ten Ontama Bukkake" dish. The meat is sweetly seasoned, the maitake tempura is crispy, and the noodles have a firm texture with a good amount of chewiness. The condiments also add a nice flavor. It's truly delicious every time I go.

I visited during lunchtime. When I arrived around 12:30, there were 2 people waiting outside. I waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. This restaurant is famous for its udon with maiko mushrooms on top. The interior was clean and had a nice atmosphere, with 5 counter seats and 3 tables for 4 people each. I ordered the "Niku Maiko-Ten Ontama Bukkake Udon for 1100 yen". The udon noodles were soft with a good texture, and the flavor of the wheat was prominent. The portion size was decent, and the maiko mushrooms on top were delicious, crispy, and fragrant. The meat was well-seasoned and had a good balance of fat. Overall, if the wait time is short like this, I think it's worth it.

There is no parking at the restaurant, but you can park at the Super Life parking lot (Times Coin Parking, 90 minutes free with purchases over 500 yen) just a 2-minute walk away, making it convenient to drive there. Most people were ordering raw fish udon, but I prefer to enjoy my udon with hot broth, so I ordered the kake udon without hesitation. It came with four thick slices of mushroom tempura, making it very filling. The noodles were smooth and slender, like Kansai-style udon. As I ate, I started to feel a bit of saltiness in the broth, but it remained piping hot until the end! Be careful not to burn your mouth if you eat too quickly. My husband, who was with me, said it was incredibly delicious, but the only downside was that the seaweed was a bit slimy. We left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Maitake mushroom tempura udon with warm egg on top for 1,100 yen. Add 150 yen for extra large size. I visited around 7:30pm on a weekday. When I came during the day before, there was a line, but this time there were only two customers, including myself. The udon noodles are slightly thick and flat, and they slide smoothly into your mouth. The crispy maitake mushroom tempura is irresistible! The combination of sweet meat, white sesame, and udon is delicious, and adding the warm egg on top makes it even better. The extra large size is very satisfying. I am extremely happy with my meal. It's definitely delicious. I will come back again.
