During summer vacation, I went to a spa and on the way back, I visited this shop called "Dagashi Bar" near Tsutenkaku. The shop has 4 table seats and is lively with lots of figures and games. There is no charge for playing games during lunchtime. You can also order items individually, but today I went for the all-you-can-eat dagashi option. All-you-can-eat dagashi for one hour costs 500 yen. Kids were delighted to be able to choose as many dagashi as they wanted. It was so much fun, from nostalgic snacks to ones I had never seen before. You can also freely use the TV games and board games in the shop. I stayed for about an hour enjoying the all-you-can-eat dagashi. In the past, games used to be limited to one hour, but that's impossible now. Snacking on sweets while playing games made the time fly by. The one appetizer for 380 yen felt a bit expensive, but the kids had fun choosing their snacks and it became a good memory of summer vacation.

At the dagashi bar, you can enjoy making your own takoyaki. This time, I visited the dagashi bar "Penguin Do" in Shinsekai. The atmosphere inside the shop is exciting with various dagashi and games. I ordered a highball for 600 yen and a dagashi assortment for 200 yen. You can also enjoy playing games like Super Famicom or board games at the table. I ordered a single takoyaki set for 980 yen, which allows you to make 20 takoyaki on a hot plate. It was delicious, probably because the store prepares the batter. Overall, it was a fun experience.
