R・ZORO
After going there a few times, I realized it's around here, right? It's located in a place where you need to pay attention, even if you've been there before. It's along the road, but the atmosphere of the ramen shop is almost non-existent. (laughs) Knowing it's a ramen shop gives a sense of relief, but the atmosphere seems to be selective of its customers. It may be a smart strategy, but it also has elements that may not appeal to everyone. When you see it, it looks like an entrance to a bar, and I felt the attention to detail. Upon entering the store, I noticed table seats and about five sunken kotatsu tables, but I felt uncomfortable sitting at the table seats and ended up at the sunken kotatsu. (laughs) The staff is friendly and has a good vibe. You can hardly smell the pork bone aroma, and the interior of the store has an American-like atmosphere with walls intentionally left with a material feel, making it enjoyable. In addition to pork bone ramen, they also offer burnt miso tonkotsu, chuka soba, abura soba, and curry and pork bone collaboration ramen. The chuka soba is a lunchtime limited menu, while the burnt miso is a nighttime limited menu. They also offer set menus such as fried rice set, gyoza set, and ladies' set. The gyoza set is priced at 750 yen, and the ramen is 550 yen. We ordered firm noodles, and while waiting, my partner brought high-quality pickles from the free high-quality pickle corner. The previous customers were mostly moms with kids, and there were also single women. For some reason, there were only women that day. (^_^*) It's nice to have a ramen shop where women can enter without worrying. The first thing that was brought was the set rice and gyoza. You can choose whether or not to have garlic in the gyoza set, and we chose without garlic. The gyoza in the set is five pieces of bite-sized gyoza, with a little yuzu pepper on the side. When I tried it, the filling inside was more like a paste than having a firm texture, and the taste was a bit unusual, with a hint of a peculiar flavor that may differ in preference. The ramen surprisingly took quite some time to be served. The surface of the soup was not greasy at all and seemed to be emulsified, but it was quite light. When I tried it, the soup had a gentle taste rather than being rich, with a mild flavor. The slightly restrained saltiness and well-balanced soup made me feel like there was a bit lacking in umami or richness. This may depend on the day, time, or timing. (^_^*) We ordered firm noodles, but honestly, they were cooked to a normal to slightly soft texture. Despite that, the slightly chewy texture of the noodles made me feel that the soup and noodles didn't quite match well. Compared to the ramen from the previous "Chu" shop, this one felt a bit more subdued and mild. I'd like to visit again and see how it goes. Thank you for the meal.
