I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time and finally got the chance to go. We ordered a sashimi platter, pickled water eggplant, and fried chicken. The sashimi platter was incredibly luxurious, with 23 different kinds of fish. It was enough to feed a large group, so we were surprised by the portion size for just two people. The fried chicken was also a large serving, with about 10 pieces for a very reasonable price. Everything was delicious and fresh, and I especially enjoyed the pickled water eggplant. I wish I had more room in my stomach to try everything, but I will definitely come back for more. This restaurant is a great choice for those who enjoy eating and drinking, as you will leave satisfied with both the taste and portion size. The prices are also very affordable!

The shop is run by the owner alone, but the variety of seafood they offer is amazing. Not only seafood, but they also have a wide selection of meat dishes like grilled chicken. Their signature sashimi platter is a must-try, with a generous amount of high-quality tuna including rare cuts and fatty tuna. The portion is so big that it can fill you up just with the sashimi alone. I couldn't resist ordering the spare ribs after seeing the portion at the next table. The ribs were delicious with a sweet and savory sauce that was addictive. In addition to seafood, the pork shabu salad, rolled omelet, shrimp fry, and other dishes all had generous portions and were delicious. The variety of drinks is also extensive and reasonably priced. I had two drinks and two bottles of sake, and the total bill was around 5000 yen, which is unbelievably cheap. The owner may seem quiet, but he is attentive to customers' needs, providing an ashtray for smokers and replacing chopsticks promptly. After finishing all the dishes, he even offered grapes. This place is truly amazing.

The cost performance is amazing. You'll be surprised at the quality of sashimi you get for this price. The portions are generous. It's definitely worth a visit. Just keep in mind that it's run by one person, so if it gets busy, the service might be slow. But if you're patient, it's no problem!

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, and I finally got to visit. It was worth it! However, unfortunately, on that day they were sold out or didn't have some ingredients, so the menu was limited. I really wanted to try the tuna and kawahagi that were listed on the menu! - Flounder sashimi: The texture was just right, with a good firmness. The flavor and sweetness of the fish were perfect, and it tasted delicious with salt or soy sauce. - Chicken thigh yakitori: The meat was tender and juicy. The sauce was light and not overpowering, and sprinkling a little salt made it incredibly delicious! - Rolled omelette: I was surprised by the large size of the omelette! I wondered if I could finish it all, but it turned out to be no problem. The broth inside was so flavorful, almost like a drink! And the broth itself was amazing. Fluffy, creamy, and flavorful - something you can't make at home. I was really impressed. The food here is definitely top-notch!

This year's year-end party season has started. The course is a hot pot for 4 people. What a beautiful dish it is. With all-you-can-drink included, it's only 5,500 yen, which is a great value. The tuna sashimi includes various parts, and each piece is large. The fatty tuna is delicious. There's also blowfish milt, which is very sweet, followed by grilled tuna collar, fried fish skin, and a big dried horse mackerel. Then there's clam, cod milt, and a sea bream hot pot. To finish, there's udon with egg. You can make a reservation through Tabelog. The owner of this restaurant provides no customer service. It's a one-man operation and he goes at his own pace. However, in terms of value for money, this place offers an incredible course with all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen including tax. It's the best deal in Kansai that I know of in terms of quality. If you have a group of 4 people, I highly recommend this course. Don't expect great customer service, but we had a great time and enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the feast this year! We had so much fun!

It doesn't get crowded as only 3 groups are allowed in per day at the entrance, and once 3 groups enter, it's released to maintain social distancing and COVID-19 prevention measures. However, it's cold, haha. A highly recommended Kue course with all-you-can-drink is only 5,500 yen including tax, which may be the best deal in Kansai for Kue hot pot with all-you-can-drink. Take a look at the photos. The course includes Kue fin sashimi, Kue head hot pot, cod milt, sea urchin, and more. It's a generous amount that doesn't seem like it's for 4 people, with matsutake mushrooms and unusually large shells. You can enjoy Kue as sashimi or in a hot pot, and there's plenty to eat. How luxurious it is. However, since the entrance is open, we ate while wearing our coats, haha. We started with beer and switched to hot sake and shochu with hot water in the middle, heating up. We kept our social distance and picked up food without using our own chopsticks. The rich flavor of Kue left us completely satisfied. It might end up on a gourmet TV show, but the owner seems shy as there is no hospitality at all. However, considering the quality of the food, even with no hospitality, I think you'll definitely want to come back.

This is my second visit. There are many cheap restaurants out there, but this place offers not only affordable prices but also generous portions and delicious food! You can enjoy both chicken and sashimi dishes, including rare options like sea bass and golden eye snapper. The sashimi platter was impressive in terms of cost performance. The owner manages the restaurant alone, so the speed of service may be a bit slow, but I believe it's worth the wait. Thank you for the meal.

The young owner of the restaurant seems unfriendly but actually has a warm heart. It's an izakaya specializing in yakitori and fresh seafood. The appetizer comes in a set of three, which is a great surprise. The appetizers here are always different, so it's exciting to see what we'll get each time. Next, we had a sashimi platter of "fresh bluefin tuna" - akami, chutoro, otoro, brain, gan, and cheek meat. It was unbelievably fresh and high-quality. The dashimaki tamago was fluffy and packed with flavor. The grilled eggplant was also huge in portion. The cost performance is excellent. They have a variety of sake, and I chose "Tajima." The owner even brought us sweetened sardines that paired well with the sake. It's cool how they can recommend such great pairings. We had 7 drinks and 3 dishes for just over 6000 yen for two people. It's such a great deal that we'll definitely be back regularly!

On a Saturday afternoon, while walking along Shinmidosuji Street, I noticed a sign that said "Fried Chicken Bento 480 yen" (・ω・`). The sign also mentioned that you can dine in the restaurant, so I decided to have the fried chicken bento for lunch today. Although the sign said fried chicken bento, what was served in front of me was actually a regular fried chicken set meal. And it was quite a generous portion of side dishes in the set meal (´ー`). The fried chicken had a thick coating and was seasoned with a strong flavor, typical of the type you find in affordable restaurants. When I squeezed some lemon over the freshly fried juicy chicken, the refreshing acidity added a nice touch, and the crispy coating enveloped the tender chicken, providing a pleasant texture. Not only were there five pieces of fried chicken, but there were also two fairly large rolled omelets, potato salad, and salad as side dishes, making it look much more luxurious than the 480 yen price tag would suggest. The red miso soup with a hint of sansho pepper was delicious, and the rice was cooked perfectly (´ω`). The generous portion of rice and side dishes made it quite a challenge to finish the meal, especially considering I was a bit hungover...f^_^; I enjoyed a delicious and filling meal at a great value (´ー`).

Lunchtime in Toyosaki today. Lunch at "Sumi Daruma" here. It's located on the north side of MBS Mainichi Broadcasting, along Shinmido-suji. The nearest station is Nakatsu Station. The lunch menu seems to have changed recently, as the menu is now papered over from the top. There are two daily specials today, and one of them, the mackerel tempura bento, is only 500 yen, which is a steal! There are also plenty of 450 yen bentos available, which can be taken out or eaten in the restaurant. Inside, there is a kitchen and counter in the front, with table seating on the left and right sides. When I visited after 12 o'clock, the inside was full, but I only had to wait outside for about 5 minutes before a counter seat opened up. The restaurant is run by two people and they seem quite busy, so you have to time it right to get a seat. I quickly took a seat at the counter and ordered the 450 yen chicken nanban bento. When I asked for an extra serving of rice, they said it would be an additional 50 yen, so I went for it. A one-coin lunch! Looking around, I noticed that many people were eating bentos. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the chicken nanban bento arrived! It came with miso soup. The bento was freshly made. The rice was freshly cooked, and even the regular serving was quite large. It's a bento that you can take out, but I wonder if the lid closes properly? Also, with the miso soup included, it seems like eating in the restaurant would be a better deal. There were two neatly cooked slices of tamagoyaki. Though they were cold, they were slightly sweet and delicious. The chicken nanban consisted of 5 pieces of freshly fried chicken thigh tempura topped with what seemed to be homemade tartar sauce. The tempura was tender and juicy, and the tartar sauce was delicious. It was really tasty! I finished the extra serving of rice and felt satisfied. With pickled radish and potato salad, and the large serving of rice, the one-coin lunch was a great deal at 500 yen!

Today's lunch was at a familiar izakaya. They serve a generous lunch menu and it's a place I often visit. I ordered the chicken karaage set meal today. First, some side dishes were served. While waiting for the main dish to be ready, I enjoyed the side dishes. The chicken karaage set meal comes with rice and miso soup. The salad portion was generous. The chicken was piled high and freshly fried, juicy and delicious. I squeezed some lemon over it. The lunch set is reasonably priced, which is also great. It's a convenient and enjoyable restaurant. I would like to go back again.

The hamo sashimi was delicious. The fish swimming in the tank were made into sashimi, and the yakitori was even more delicious than at specialty stores. The manager was unfriendly, but the prices were reasonable and it's an easy-to-enter restaurant. I would definitely like to go again.

I visited for lunch and had the fried chicken set meal for 630 yen. It was a generous portion of juicy fried chicken at this price. They also have other delicious lunch options like oyakodon and chicken nanban. I will definitely be coming back soon.
