It's a neighborhood gathering at this new place. Everyone is ordering their drinks and toasting cheers! We're enjoying some delicious tuna sashimi with sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. Pickled shallots, edamame, and sea grapes are perfect with cold beer. We're watching the Yano Tigers game on the TV, hoping for a fifth win. Moving on to Shaoxing wine for the second round of drinks, on the rocks because it's a hot day. The tender roast pork is flavorful and the steak lets us savor the natural taste of the meat. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great at this izakaya.

We used it for a second party! We barged in with 12 people, but they prepared a wonderful position where we could watch Murata's game!! We ordered a lot of drinks, but we only had chicken wings, homemade chashu egg, edamame, and pickles for food... Sorry for the minimal order. The chicken wings were incredibly salty and kind of mediocre, but the chashu egg was delicious!!! This is just a quick post as we didn't order much. We will visit again!

After a long time, I went for a walk with my family around Amerikamura and then headed to Namba. We found an interestingly named restaurant and decided to go in. It seems that their specialty is tebasalt, and they also claim to be the origin of Garlic Chou. We ordered some draft beer, tebasalt, kaisen grapes, seared yukke, and char siu. The beer arrived first, with a nice foam! The interior of the restaurant had a cozy countryside diner atmosphere, which made for a relaxing meal. The tebasalt arrived, and they kindly reduced the pepper for us since we had a child with us. The child really liked it and ended up eating 10 pieces, including seconds (laughs). The other dishes were also delicious, and the Garlic Chou was especially tasty. I couldn't help but have seconds, it's a mysteriously delicious flavor. I had a nice chat with the owner, who was friendly, and overall it was an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

I don't go to Amerikamura (American Village) often, but I felt like a regular customer on this day (lol). This place seems to be a small individual restaurant, not a chain like the cheap izakayas around. The menu is extensive, with set meals, rice bowls, and even ramen, but most people were there for the izakaya dishes. Everything was reasonably priced and generous in portion size. The edamame was served in large quantities, and the tuna sashimi, although frozen and a bit sinewy, was decent for the price. I tried the Ceylon rice with curry, which turned out to be spicier than expected, making me break a sweat. Since I was dining in the restaurant, I had a beer and the total bill came to 2000 yen with change. There is no counter, only tables, and the restaurant is more suited for groups. It was quite crowded, so the service was a bit slow. The proprietress seemed friendly and tried to engage in conversation, but she was also very busy, so there wasn't much opportunity to chat. They accept credit cards, but the minimum amount for card payment is 3000 yen, so keep that in mind.

The menu only consists of ramen here. [Soup] The soup is based on seafood with a moderate amount of oil and a soy sauce flavor. It has a light and clear body with a slightly light taste. The flavor of seafood is well felt, and although the saltiness is slightly high, it is delicious when combined with the slightly sweet Kaeshi! The interior and exterior are cheap, but I was drawn in by the delicious-looking hamburger sign. I ordered the "Meaty Hamburger Lunch" which is normally 1200 yen, but during lunchtime it's 980 yen. It's made without any fillers like flour or breadcrumbs, using black wagyu beef and brand rice. The phrase "dancing with the heart of rice" caught my eye, but how does it taste? In conclusion, it was quite delicious. While it lacks in juiciness, you can definitely taste the coarsely ground beef. Without fillers, the direct flavor and richness of the meat come through. The rice is also undeniably delicious.

The Amemura employee cafeteria? ...a cafeteria for employees around Ueno Ameyoko area? No...this is in Namba, Osaka. The name of the restaurant, a photo of the dishes in front of the restaurant, and the prices in the 400 yen range caught my attention. With a overturned sake carrying case, cushions as seats, and tables with stoves, I entered a shop filled with signboards. The owner, along with a small dog, welcomed me. I quickly ordered "namachuu" and some snacks like thick-cut bacon and chicken wings...with prices in the 400 yen range, you can drink without worry. Of course, next is "garichuu." The idea for this garichuu came from the owner and his wife's favorite sushi restaurant, where they researched the pickled ginger used and tested its compatibility with shochu...while listening to the secret story of how this "garichuu" was born, I found myself ordering "oichuu" (the inside story), more affordable and simple snacks, and another oichuu. The taste of this garichuu?...come and try it for yourself. A delicate sweet vinegar like cherry blossoms combined with a dry ginger like mist...exquisite! Another glass! Let's go...my colleague's enthusiastic voice. (I feel like eating something...) The dishes are simple, like sausages and tuna, but affordable...☆2.5 The chicken wings are tender, not just "delicious" but "tasty." It was fun! That's the impression of this shop. On the weekend, a group of us went to this shop. It's located near our office, but surprisingly it was my first time there! The interior of the shop was much larger than I had imagined from the outside. On that day, there was an event for the earthquake disaster, with activities like drawing caricatures, and the shop was almost full and lively. The owner said they use really good eggs. Upon hearing that, I decided to try the cheese omelette. It was more orange than yellow, and it was fluffy and rich with cheese inside. The shop's specialty tonkatsu was a hearty dish that went well with drinks. I ordered garlic chives for the first time that day. It had plenty of pickled ginger like you see in sushi restaurants. It was a taste that could become addictive. We got so caught up in chatting that before we knew it, it was past midnight. The shop was full of customers, so we didn't realize how late it had gotten! I had passed by the shop many times before, but never noticed it. It was cheap, delicious, and the customers were all connected and having a good time. I'm glad I found this place. I have no idea how I got here, but I stumbled upon this shop in front of me. I wasn't drunk, just wandering around this area with an umbrella, so I don't remember the route. But I do remember the shop well! Now, onto the second place. After having a bottle of champagne and three beers at the first place, I still wasn't satisfied, so I decided to down a lemon chu-hi here. I was craving that refreshing lemon taste! The walls were covered with menu photos, which made it easy to choose. When I'm tipsy, I can't read small text on menus. I ordered some coarsely ground sausage for 380 yen, a cabbage salad for 480 yen, grilled mackerel for 480 yen, and teriyaki chicken for 480 yen. The sausage portion seemed a bit different from the menu photo, but oh well, it happens. The cabbage salad was crisp and delicious. It's rare to see cabbage in salads, so that was a clever idea! The teriyaki chicken had a juicy, tasty sauce. I don't usually eat grilled mackerel, but at places like this, I suddenly crave it. The food went well with the drinks. I kept ordering lemon chu-hi – can't stop! I'm not going home yet. Lemon chu-hi refill! I just can't stop. Lemon chu-hi refill! I'm on a roll. Lemon chu-hi refill! Looks like I feel like going to another place. Well, I ended up visiting four more places, getting pretty drunk. Thanks for the meal!

I went to the Amerikamura employee cafeteria at 2-3-14 Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. The interior is not suitable for a date, but more appealing to older people. You order by speaking. The melt-in-your-mouth chashu is addictive. The menu has a lot of unusual dishes. Due to a typhoon, some dishes from Okinawa were unavailable, which was disappointing. Overall, the food is delicious. They are open from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and you can enter after 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM. They are open on Sundays and closed on Wednesdays. The average cost for dinner is between 2,000 to 2,999 yen. It is located 303 meters from Namba Station in Osaka.

In Amerikamura, near Tako Yaki no Ajiho, towards the Dotonbori River, there is a popular restaurant that has changed owners multiple times. Despite its prominent location, it seems to be doing well now. Today was my first visit. The atmosphere inside is casual, with a wide range of menu items from drinks to food (ranging from 100 yen and up). However, there was a slight sense of incongruity. Numerous unopened bottles of Dom Perignon lined the kitchen counter. It made me wonder if they were trying to show off. I'd like to try Dom Perignon without the pretentiousness, but I wonder about the price. The slightly sparkling makgeolli is priced at 500 yen per glass or 1,000 yen for a bottle for two, which seems like a good deal. Tonight, I toasted with a bottle of makgeolli!

The other day, after work, I went to the company cafeteria for a drink♪ But I couldn't relax there! I went to the "Ame-mura Shokudou" that opened at the end of last year♪ It's located just west of Santera-suji, south of Midosuji, on the left side of the building on the 1st floor in the back! (near Takoyaki "Ajimu") It's right next to the Italian restaurant "TRICOLORE" that I introduced before! From the outside and inside, it's a complete casual izakaya! As usual, I ordered a "draft beer - medium - (380 yen)"... Suntory's natural water Malt♪ "Grilled tuna cheek meat - (580 yen)"... highly recommended! "Homemade pickled celery - (300 yen)"... this is delicious♪ "Grilled squid - (300 yen)"... with sauce mayonnaise♪ I thought it was authentic "grilled squid", but they actually get takeout from the squid restaurant "The Squid" in Ame-mura. In fact, this "Ame-mura Shokudou" is the third store of "The Squid"! Cheap, delicious, and easy to drink♪ The customer base seems to be mostly young people due to the location, but it seems okay for old guys too, right? (laughs) Oh, by the way, at the end of last year, there was a live performance by a three-member unit of "Kome Kome CLUB" at this restaurant! Finished eating... thank you for the meal♪ I'll definitely visit again♪

While wandering around in Halloween costumes, I stumbled upon a bar with a sign advertising chicken wings. Intrigued, I decided to go in, only to find that it was almost full. I ordered the salted chicken wings and garlic chives that caught my eye. I ended up ordering most of the items that were recommended on the menu, but the garlic chives... they just didn't agree with my taste buds! I couldn't understand why everyone else seemed to enjoy them. The salted chicken wings, on the other hand, were delicious - crispy and well-seasoned. The menu also offered a variety of dishes such as rice bowls and stir-fries, ensuring that I wouldn't get bored.

Visited this restaurant with colleagues from work. Originally planned to go to a nearby restaurant called "Norio", but it was already closed at 1 am, so we chose this place nearby instead. The entrance was chaotic with menu photos and signs everywhere, making it hard to tell what kind of cuisine they served. We decided to go in anyway. The friendly owner was taking care of things. We ordered tuna sashimi, double bean sprout stir-fry, wonton hot pot, and finished with ramen. I don't remember the other 2-3 dishes we ordered because I was a bit drunk. The tuna sashimi was a bit small for a "double" portion, but the taste was great. The sashimi was fresh and the soy sauce was delicious. It was a bold choice to have wonton hot pot in the middle of summer, but it turned out to be wonderful once we added the sauce. By the time we were eating the ramen, we were already sweating. It's nice that they stay open late for those who like to stay out late. We finished our meal and stayed until morning.

Today, I went to my usual bento shop with T-chan, but to our surprise, Mitsudera Kitchen was closed. Even the ramen shop next door was closed. Oh no, what should we do? We hadn't thought of any other options. T-chan said, "Should we try buying from here?" with a cute smile, already in the mood for bento. I'm weak when it comes to young girls, so I said, "Let's give it a try." We checked out the bento in front of the store, and a really cute staff member explained, "Sorry, we don't have sample dishes ready, but if you order now, the hamburger and beef sukiyaki are quick! Fried dishes will take more than 5 minutes." She had such a cute smile. I chose the hamburger bento. The hamburger was quite meaty and well done. I wish there was a bit more sauce, though. The other side dishes could use a bit more effort. The rice portion was huge, so people with big appetites would be happy. Overall, if the contents were priced at 500 yen, it would be even better. T-chan mentioned wanting to try the tonkatsu next time, so we might revisit. The energetic and cute staff member really made the experience enjoyable, so I would definitely consider revisiting for lunch. Thank you for the meal!
