"Iikura" is a top-rated Japanese restaurant in the Nambancho area, known for its hidden gem status. It is run by a chef from the renowned restaurant "Kozue" and offers both course meals of Kyoto cuisine as well as a la carte options. The restaurant has a quiet and traditional ambiance with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wooden counter seats 8 people, with a couple of tables and private rooms in the back. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, such as simmered conger eel with turnip, assorted sashimi, simmered taro, monkfish liver, roasted ginkgo nuts, lotus root manju, miso-marinated black cod, sweet potato tempura, celery salad, Sendai beef lamp steak, shijimi clam rice, and clam miso soup. The selection of sake complements the dishes perfectly. The attentive service and relaxing atmosphere make it a great place for a special meal with loved ones or for a casual dining experience."

Located in Nishi-Temma, it seems like a place where adults gather. Everyone is lively, enjoying their food and chatting, but the atmosphere is calm. I visited with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. The menu is extensive and everything looks tempting, so it was difficult to choose. We ended up ordering grilled conger eel, seared horse mackerel tartare, tuna cutlet, mushroom tempura, lotus root manju, crab in thick sauce, abalone liver butter grilled, matsutake mushroom steamed in a pot, tai-meshi (sea bream rice), beer, and two types of sake. The total came to 21,120 yen for the two of us. It was delicious! We were completely satisfied and full. I would definitely like to visit again.

The taste was shockingly delicious. Everything we ate was amazing. When we first looked at the menu, we thought there were so many things we wanted to try but it might be too much for two people. However, each dish was just the right amount (enough to make us want a little more) and we ended up ordering more and more. I can't remember how many dishes we ordered. Whenever I go to Osaka, I will definitely go back.

I made a reservation as usual and visited the restaurant. I started with a beer at the counter. The first course was grated yam somen and grilled eggplant. I'm not a big fan of eggplant usually, but this one was delicious. Next came dried ayu fish, duck roast, and a soup. The broth was just right and very tasty. Then came the sashimi course with tuna, ark shell, and red sea bream. All of them were delicious, especially the red sea bream which was in season and exquisite. Following that was the grilled white snapper, which had amazing crispy scales. You could really taste the chef's skill in this dish. Then came the fried anglerfish and mozuku seaweed, and finally, the meal ended with a Miyazaki beef sauté and corn rice. The sweetness of the corn rice was outstanding. It was a delicious meal overall.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, and this was my first visit. It's a traditional Japanese restaurant where you can order a la carte dishes, mainly focusing on seafood. I could tell that the way they cut and cook the ingredients really brings out their quality, even for someone like me who is not an expert. Everything was delicious, but I especially enjoyed the rare horse mackerel fry and the large, fresh oysters that I had never tried before.

The shop had a lovely entrance and inside, there was a main counter with some table seats, creating an atmosphere that could be used like an izakaya. It seemed like a place that mainly served à la carte dishes, but I decided to leave it up to the chef. The grilled sea bream with scales was seasoned perfectly with a nice contrast between the crispy scales and moist flesh. The dishes were serious and focused on bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients, without any unnecessary gimmicks.

Received menu: - Assorted sashimi - Iwagaki from Oki Island - Tempura of bamboo shoots and seaweed - Firefly squid and spring vegetable tempura - Grilled sea bream shirako with salt - Grilled white asparagus with salt - Beef cutlet - Ankimo simmered in sauce - Grilled broad beans - Cuttlefish and seaweed salad - Cold tea soba with grated yam Impressions: A wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine a la carte. With so many menu options, it's hard to decide what to order - I wanted to try everything! The assorted sashimi was fresh and delicious. The Iwagaki was rich and perfect for oyster lovers. The Ankimo simmered in sauce was a definite must-order item. The sea bream shirako had a subtle fish flavor that lingered pleasantly. The beef cutlet was made with marbled beef and paired well with the flavorful demiglace sauce. Overall, the simple cooking style showcased the quality of the ingredients, and everything was delicious. It's great that you can order a la carte. I didn't see prices listed, but I estimate that enjoying drinks and food would cost around ¥15,000. Definitely worth a visit!

Eating a la carte and choosing your favorite dishes is the best! It may be a luxurious dilemma, but when you eat a full course meal every day, sometimes you want to eat what you like in the amount you like, instead of leaving it to chance. When I asked around for a good restaurant that offers a la carte dining, this place came up as the number one choice! It's from my beloved hometown Kokezu, and the menu has a wide variety of delicious options. I was torn on what to order, but everything I tried was delicious. This way, you can eat without worrying about your dining companion's preferences or portion sizes, and it's quite relaxing. The dishes come out relatively quickly, which is also a plus. Located in Nishi-Temma, it's recommended for lawyers and those in Kita-Shinchi as well. The a la carte menu includes a selection of sashimi, corn tempura, grilled asparagus with vinegar, chilled grilled eggplant, fresh karasumi, minced squid and seaweed, corn rice cooked in a clay pot, grilled horse mackerel mixed rice, and seaweed porridge. It was all delicious, thank you for the meal. Thank you very much for reading until the end. Your support with follows, likes, and saving the restaurant is truly appreciated. I'll start with beer as usual. The appetizer has arrived. It consists of new onions topped with minced meat sauce. It's delicious. Next is hairy crab, which pairs well with alcohol and tastes great. Then comes my favorite dish, grilled eel. The soup is made with grilled eggplant and Anago eel, and it's really tasty. The sashimi includes bonito, squid, ark shell, and sea bream. Next is salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch, which is also delicious. Then came tempura of young ayu fish. This was followed by fruit tomatoes and mozuku seaweed, and the meal ended with roasted Miyazaki beef. The meat is tender and full of flavor. The meal was served with bamboo shoot rice. Once again, I enjoyed the meal. I'll make a reservation for next time before leaving.

Kuiiikura is very efficient. In the midst of many expensive restaurants, it was very reasonable. They served dishes like simmered abalone with snow peas, steamed abalone with sea urchin and octopus, and sea bream with fish roe. The grilled horse mackerel and eel were also delicious. The total cost was 11,000 yen. It was fantastic!

Beer, sake, and Japanese cuisine are all very delicious here. It's a place where you can enjoy a high-class feeling. Watching the skilled chefs prepare the food while sipping on tasty drinks makes you feel happy. You can choose dishes individually instead of opting for a set course, which is great for dining with a partner who may have specific food preferences. Highly recommended for a special night out with a loved one.

The restaurant is located about 5-6 minutes from Minamimorimachi subway station. There are 8 counter seats as well as a few private rooms and table seats. The chef and 4 other staff members were serving that day. I made a reservation for two as usual and we were seated at the counter. We started with some beer and were served a starter of steamed icefish in a tea cup, which was delicious. Next, we had steamed abalone with liver sauce followed by grilled eel, which was very flavorful. The soup course consisted of grilled Japanese pomfret and bamboo shoots, which had a wonderful smoky flavor. Then we had a sashimi platter with flounder, squid, ark shell, and sea bream. The grilled white croaker that came next was exceptional, with crispy skin and delicious meat. After that, we enjoyed oyster fry, firefly squid with vinegar miso, and sautéed Japanese beef before moving on to the main course. The meal ended with bamboo shoot rice, a seasonal delicacy. Although the restaurant mainly offers à la carte dishes, we opted for a course meal and were pleasantly satisfied with the experience.

We wanted to try a variety of dishes at this restaurant that offers courses and a la carte options, so we ordered a la carte. The dishes we had included minced duck meatballs, grilled fugu shirako, assorted sashimi, rare fried horse mackerel, roast beef, beef cutlet, grilled eel, and more. The menu had many appealing dishes, but we still have more to try! With draft beer, highball, and sake, we were fully satisfied!

Last year, I used this restaurant for a work dinner. This is my second visit. Last time, it was a course meal focused on drinking and work, so I couldn't really enjoy the food as much. This time, I went for a leisurely private meal. - Grilled cod milt with soy sauce: Excellent - Grilled blowfish milt with salt: Excellent - Tempura of cod milt: Excellent - Grilled white sea bream with scales: Excellent - Flounder with thick sauce: Excellent - Grilled abalone with butter: Delicious - Ankimo (monkfish liver): Excellent - Beef cutlet: Not tasty at all - Sea bream rice: Average - Fried scallop with rice cracker: Excellent - Lotus root steamed bun: Excellent The food was very delicious, but in terms of cost performance, it felt a bit expensive for both of us. However, the restaurant is clean, the food is served quickly, and it truly feels like a top-notch restaurant.

Let's go to a nice Japanese restaurant! I went out with a friend who is a company president for a work celebration. The location is in Minamimorimachi, on the first floor of the same building where we recently visited an Italian restaurant. We sat at a table for two. We started with non-alcoholic beer! - Kasujiru: It had a faint burdock aroma, but it was delicious and gentle. What kind of fish was on top? - Steamed abalone with sea urchin and liver sauce: The abalone was tender and the sea urchin had a sweet taste, and it looked beautiful and delicious! - Shirako yaki: Absolutely delicious! - Swordfish soup: No fishy smell and a good aroma, really delicious! - Sashimi platter: Toro, bigfin reef squid, mackerel, flounder, 4 kinds of sashimi. - Salt-grilled golden snapper: Delicious with grated daikon! - Kyotsukiryu hot sake: I love this sake! - Fugu tempura: Elegant tempura. Delicious! It was my first time having delicious fugu tempura. - Sea cucumber and grated radish: It had a leftover New Year's feel, but the good firmness of the sea cucumber and the refreshing taste of the grated radish were irresistible. - Sendai beef loin: Lean meat. Tender and delicious! - Rice cooked with icefish: It's said to be the child of sweetfish. Honestly, I don't like the raw smell of shirasu and this kind of fish, but it was delicious with the right amount of salt. I feel like my opinion has changed. - Clam soup: The large clam soup was gentle and delicious. - Pickles: We enjoyed all of them. It was a restaurant where I look forward to the growth of young talent. The course was 11,000 yen. My friend, the company president, paid for it. Looking forward to another year of delicious food! I will work hard to be able to enjoy more delicious food!

It had been a while since I had Japanese food, so I decided to go to Ikura restaurant. This time, I ordered a la carte. Since it was the end of the month, I called ahead to reserve the snow crab. My friends were coming from far away, so I wanted a calm atmosphere and delicate dishes served in small plates from the beginning. The consideration and timing of the dishes were excellent, and all the dishes were delicate and delicious.
