You can also enjoy motsu-nabe in Fukuoka, not just mentaiko. The beef seared liver sashimi skewers were also delicious.

You can easily enjoy grilled beef intestines at Links Umeda underground. From skewers to simmered dishes, they have a great selection. I forgot which skewer was which, but they were all delicious. The pickled ginger condiment paired perfectly with the meat. The tongue and simmered intestines were also excellent.

I visited Motsufuku-san, a grilled offal restaurant, even though it was early, there were many customers. The appetizer was pickles. The simmered tongue was soft and delicious. The grilled dishes, such as harami and pork belly, were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Near the station and department stores, do you often find that restaurants are expensive with small portions, regardless of the taste? It may be because of the high rent due to the location. However, in the underground area of Link Umeda, there are many reasonably priced, stylish, and delicious restaurants. There are also some not so good ones, so please be aware. I don't remember this place very well as I passed by a few times before, but after having a light meal and drink, I found this place while wandering a bit more. This place is good. The motsu dishes are delicious. The appetizers are also made in the store and taste great. It's clean, close to Umeda, suitable for foreign guest entertainment, and the spacious store allows for a lively atmosphere. It's not super cheap, but it's a satisfying place.

Umeda is a yakiniku restaurant located in the basement of LINKS, in a corner of the drinking district. They offer a variety of cuts such as heart, tongue, harami, etc., starting from around ¥2000 per person. The orange-colored items on the menu seem to be recommended, so we ordered the recommended cuts like tongue and harami. The side dish of pickled ginger sauce was refreshing and delicious. Each cut has a different taste, making it enjoyable to try various options. They also have a wide selection of side dishes, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.

All the meat skewers were delicious and had great value for money. The sauce was particularly tasty and whetted my appetite. The grated red pickled ginger served with it was also amazing. Perfect Black Label ⭐️ was available to drink, so there was nothing to complain about. Thank you for the meal.

I got off at Umeda Station and came here. I ordered motsuyaki (grilled offal) and an oolong highball. At 4:30, I was torn between the neighboring kushiage (deep-fried skewers) place, but I chose motsuyaki. I ordered liver, white meat, tongue, and belly with pickled cabbage on the side, along with an oolong highball. The appetizer was pickled Chinese cabbage in a pot. I started drinking while thinking it was similar to cabbage. The liver was slightly rare and moist, with no unpleasant smell. The white meat and belly were a bit greasy. I thought there was red miso paste, but it turned out to be finely chopped pickled ginger. It was my first time trying it. I added two more oolong highballs and finished my meal.

On Wednesday, December 14th, I was on a business trip in the Kansai region. In the evening, I had a gathering with local business colleagues after a long time. We decided to meet at Links Umeda, located in the Yodobashi Umeda underground near the hotel. Two salarymen wandered around looking for a place around 6 pm and settled on Motsufuku, an izakaya with a lively atmosphere. When we entered, it was about one-third full, but it quickly filled up as we drank. Most of the customers were salarymen. One notable thing about this place is that the grilled offal skewers like liver, tongue, and heart were priced at 209 yen per piece, but they were quite substantial and satisfying. The frozen lemon sour, priced at 759 yen including tax, was refreshing and interesting. I lost count of how many 319 yen tax-included chuhai I drank. It was my first time at Links Umeda, and I found it to be a bright and welcoming place with a good selection of drinking spots suitable for regular visits.

Second stop at Links Yokocho for drinks! We wanted to eat clams and motsu, so we chose this place. We ordered seasonal fruit sake, opting for grape since they didn't have kabosu. The pickled vegetables in a jar for the otoshi were cute and delicious! The fried taro potatoes were crispy and addictive. We enjoyed the dotenabe and two types of skewers. Everything was delicious! It was my first time trying red ginger miso, and it paired perfectly with the meat, very tasty!

Today I had a light meal of vinegar motsu. I stopped by a motsu-yaki restaurant called "Motsuyaki Motsufuku" located on the basement floor of Yodobashi Umeda Tower LINKS UMEDA in Osaka Umeda, on my way back from shopping at Yodobashi. The appetizer was pickles in a pot. There were various types of motsu such as liver, stomach, and head, and after some hesitation, I ordered vinegar motsu with beer. I also had the motsu stew. The restaurant didn't have the typical heavy atmosphere of a standing bar, surprisingly it was quite light. The seats were close together, so it can get a bit crowded. Overall, it seemed like a good place for a casual drink after shopping.

I prefer horumon-yaki over yakiniku. The thick and juicy grilled heart skewers exceeded my expectations, and the chu-hai with plenty of lemon was refreshing. They also offer a lemon chu-hai with extra lemon. The restaurant is located inside Yodobashi, and although it can be noisy, I wish there was a hidden gem like this nearby.

Recently, there has been an increase in casual and easy-to-enter bars in places like Osaka Umeda, such as Lucua, Hankyu Department Store, Links, and Grand Front. This time, I visited Links Umeda. It's my first time dining here. It's located on the basement floor of Links Umeda. I was in the mood for some skewered food, so I decided to try "Motsuyaki Motsufuku." They offer single skewers, which is convenient. I ordered a Watermelon Sour made with a rare variety called "Hitorijime" watermelon. It was a refreshing choice for the end of the still hot summer. The glass rim was salted, which is a unique touch. The restaurant sources its vegetables and fruits directly from the Kinosato Farmers Market in Wakayama Prefecture. Unfortunately, the Muscat Sour I wanted was sold out, but I enjoyed the Watermelon Sour. I also tried the special menu items, including Wakayama Mekkemon Goya Pickles and boiled tongue with yuzu pepper. The skewered food was delicious, with plenty of pickled red ginger. The Fruit-Infused Highball was a nice addition, served with a variety of pickled vegetables. Despite any initial reservations about offal, the motsu dishes were not only visually appealing but also tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

It's been a long time since I had drinks with K-san~ We were recommended this place and decided to drop by! (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝︎ Living in Tokyo means more motsu-yaki than yakitori. It's the culture of grilled offal, right? The motsu here is delicious, with no unpleasant smell and a sweet and savory sauce that goes well with drinks. Yummy~ The smoking area is outside the restaurant, so let's take our time and enjoy our drinks~ Thank you for the meal!

I often go for day drinking. My favorite is motsu-ni stew. Other menu items also go well with alcohol, so I end up drinking too much. It was a day drinking session with lots of oolong highballs! Thank you for the meal!

Motsuyaki Motsu Fuku
Located in Oishii Mono Yokocho in the basement of Linx, this is a skewer shop where you can order individual skewers. They serve pickles as a side dish. I tried vinegared motsu, seared beef liver sashimi, liver, tongue, shiro (small intestine), kobukuro (uterus), and rose (tripe), and all of them were delicious. The only downside is that the drinks are a bit pricier compared to the Namba area. Once you know cheaper places, this might be a concern. The food is excellent, so I highly recommend it! Thank you for the meal.

It was an easy place for even one person to enter. The staff was friendly and when I asked for recommendations, they suggested the harami which was really delicious. Personally, I highly recommend the harami and seared beef liver sashimi. The liver sashimi was delicious without any unpleasant odor, and the portion was generous. I think the prices of other skewers are reasonable. It's a good place for solo dining without feeling awkward, and the prices are not too high, making it a great choice for someone's solo izakaya debut. It's located in the underground shopping area in Osaka Umeda, making it a convenient stop for day trips or returning from a trip.

I went to Umeda LINX in search of a restaurant to have a meal. I saw a sign that said "motsu" and decided to go in, thinking I would have motsunabe (tripe hot pot). However, it turned out to be a restaurant specializing in motsuyaki (grilled tripe). Despite the mix-up, they had a wide variety of motsu dishes, so I started with a draft beer and their specialty motsu simmered dish. It looked similar to Osaka's doteyaki, but the miso used for simmering gave it a surprisingly light flavor. It paired well with the beer. I then ordered several types of grilled motsu skewers, including liver, heart, and head, which were all delicious. The offal meats had no unpleasant smell and a satisfying chewy texture. By that time, I had switched to shochu highball from beer. The shochu highball at this restaurant can also be enjoyed as a chaser. Although my visit was short, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of motsu.

Yodobashi's first drinking and walking experience in the basement. While the skewers were sold out for lunch, we ordered some stewed tripe and various skewers. The grated garlic and chopped pickled ginger served with the skewers were surprisingly delicious, complementing both the skewers and the alcohol. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of ginger or garlic, but I was amazed at how delicious they were when combined. (laughs)

The female staff members provide very pleasant service. They give good recommendations and offer water promptly. Their natural conversation is very charming. Of course, the food is delicious too! Especially the grilled beef tripe and pork belly! You can easily visit alone. I want to come back to this restaurant next time I'm on a business trip.

Yakiton shops are like hormone shops, right? It's cheap and that's normal. Many people have written about it, but I think the skewers and drinks are expensive. However, if they are carefully prepared and cooked, I can understand that. But the sauce and salt were too much, and I could hardly taste the meat on the skewers. They serve the meat almost like sashimi (it's seared), so I think they are confident in the freshness of the meat. It's a waste of good meat.
Shiro (pork tongue) is 160 yen, Kashira (pork cheek) is 190 yen. There was an appetizer and pickles, but I can't eat pickles, so I declined. The pickles seem to have a good reputation, so if you're not like me and don't dislike pickles, you should try them. The appetizer is 300 yen.
Yesterday, the fruit shochu highball at the Thai restaurant I went to was delicious, so I tried the pear sour here, but the pear flavor and aroma were completely lost to the alcohol. I should have just gotten a beer. The pear sour is 590 yen. When the alcohol is no good, the skewers are no good, and the service is so-so, the liver sashimi comes to the rescue. Seared liver sashimi. 590 yen. This was good. A joy to eat the liver sashimi that was taken away from me by a stupid yakiniku restaurant in Ishikawa Prefecture. Oh, thank you. It's been a long time. I'm happy. I forgive everything. I used the 500 yen discount coupon and was able to eat for 1000 yen. Yay!

Today's lunch was at "Motsuyaki Motsufuku Umeda Store" in Osaka, Umeda at "LINKS UMEDA". There are various shops in the basement of "LINKS UMEDA", which is interesting for exploring new places. I saw a delicious set meal and decided to try it out! I had the Hormone Stir-Fry Set Meal (970 yen), which looked appetizing with an illustration. However, it was not clear that the price was excluding tax, so it was actually 970 yen plus tax. I arrived around 1:30 pm and it was not crowded. Most of the other customers seemed to be enjoying a daytime drink. There are counter seats available, making it suitable for solo diners. When ordering, I was asked, "What would you like to drink?", maybe they thought I was going to have alcohol? After a short wait, the food arrived! The portion size seemed a bit small, especially the plates seemed tiny. The Hormone Stir-Fry was the main dish, cooked with cabbage, green onions, and shichimi spice. The texture of the hormone was chewy and flavorful, perfect with rice. I also enjoyed the Motsu Nabe, which was more like a miso soup with vegetables. The pickles and mentaiko were a nice touch, and I was happy to find out that you can have extra mentaiko with rice. I had one serving of extra mentaiko with rice. The interior of the restaurant was cozy, and the staff was cute. Overall, a pleasant dining experience!
