<Car Lunch> Looking for takeout from the car ~ Oh, here seems to offer bento boxes and such, I never noticed before even though I've passed by many times! So many menu options to choose from... The name of the shop has "tamago" in it and there's a big illustration of omurice, so it must be omurice! I went for the classic "Western-style omurice" for 500 yen. I'm not the adventurous type in situations like this (laughs). The egg was very thin, but surprisingly good! The chicken rice had a simple and nostalgic taste with light ingredients. Simple is best. "Thank you for the meal ☺︎"

On Monday afternoon, I bought a takeout set from a restaurant called "金の羽根たまご" in Kisasato that my colleagues were really interested in. I got the omelette rice for 500 yen and a set of hamburger and shrimp fry for 350 yen. My colleagues enjoyed the omelette rice so much that I decided to buy it for myself next time and have a taste, but when I realized it, they had already finished it all. (^-^)

The restaurant offers take-out bento boxes and omurice. There is a table and chair seating area for dining in or waiting. The green omurice is rolled with Japanese-style pilaf with small shrimp and spinach, topped with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce. It costs 600 yen and was delicious. The white omurice is made with ketchup-flavored chicken rice, rolled in a thin omelette with a yellow yolk in the center. It costs just 500 yen. They also offer variations like fluffy omurice and garlic-flavored black omurice, as well as various bento options. Bottled tea is available for purchase. While dining in, they even served tea to us. The couple running the place seem to be working hard. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a colorful omurice restaurant with white, yellow, red, green, and black decor. It's a takeout shop for bento and omurice. I wanted to try the fiery red omurice with chili sauce and peppers, but unfortunately it was sold out. So, I ordered the black omurice instead. The finished omurice came in a black container with black egg. The only accent was pink ginger. When I opened it, I found that even the garlic rice inside was black, colored with bamboo charcoal. There were only a few garlic pieces inside, and no other visible ingredients. It felt like eating fried rice without any toppings, which was disappointing. The restaurant is located at 1-21-20 Higashikishisato, Nishinari-ku, Osaka City, Bright Kishisato 1F.

I visited the takeout-only restaurant specializing in omurice, called "Kin no Hane Tamago." It is located in Kishisato, Osaka. They offer a variety of bento boxes ranging from ¥400 to ¥900, including high-quality ingredients like grilled chicken and steak. Their omurice menu includes options like fluffy omurice and premium omurice, priced between ¥550 and ¥850. The menu is extensive, with 15 types of curry and rice dishes available. The restaurant is accessible from Kishisato Station (3-minute walk) and Nankai-Tennoji Station (5-minute walk). Their operating hours are from 10:00 to 20:00, and they are closed on Sundays. For more information or possible changes, contact 06-6629-8873.

I thought I would lose my appetite when I saw the color, but it was delicious when I tried it! When I ate with my friends, the conversation flowed smoothly!

A few years ago, I saw this restaurant on TV and it has been on my mind ever since. I finally decided to visit this time. I found the restaurant a few minutes' walk from Nankai-Tenka Chaya Station and Kishinosato Subway Station. The colorful sign on the first floor of the building makes it easy to spot. There were two customers ahead of me, both getting takeout. There are simple tables and chairs outside the store, but it seems like takeout is the main focus. The colorful omelette rice is a specialty, but they also sell regular bento boxes. This time, I visited to eat the colorful omelette rice at the store. After much deliberation, I ordered the "Red Omelette Rice for 600 yen." However, I was told that they didn't have the ingredients to make it red. Disappointing. Since a "Red Omelette Rice" that's not red doesn't make sense, I changed my order to the "Black Omelette Rice for 600 yen." After paying, I waited at the outdoor seating area. I could hear the sound of eggs being mixed in the kitchen. My anticipation grew. After a while, the menu was served. Oh, the dish is black, so the color is blending in... not very Instagram-worthy. Let's focus on the taste. The rice wrapped in black eggs was also black. When I took a bite, the flavor of garlic spread in my mouth. The egg was topped with garlic sauce. The garlic flavor made the dish very tasty. Some people may not like it, but I enjoyed the taste. It was delicious. The black color is achieved using bamboo charcoal. It seems to be good for the body. After eating the omelette rice, I refreshed my mouth with pickled ginger. I finished it all in no time. Since the garlic rice doesn't have any other ingredients besides garlic, it felt a bit lacking. They also had red, green, white, and yellow options. Yellow probably has a very normal visual appeal. Next time, I might try the red or green one. But I wonder, what are the ingredients that make it red? I'm curious... Thank you for the meal.

The green omurice, topped with spinach and daikon radish or carrot grated, and drizzled with soy sauce, looked the most appetizing among the red, black, and blue options. It tasted normal but delicious. Priced at 500 yen, it was very affordable, but at 700 yen, it might be considered a bit expensive. The presentation was impressive, reminiscent of a high-end restaurant in the north or south. However, it felt like something was missing, similar to ramen without chashu. While udon or soba can be satisfying without toppings, ramen might feel a bit lonely without additional ingredients. Omurice seems like it can do without chicken or ham, but it's a tricky balance.

Curry & Omelette Rice for a Month Part 7: "Kin no Hane Tamago" (Kishisato, Osaka) Green, red, yellow, white, black - colorful omelette rice is the specialty here. Last time, we featured the black omelette rice for 600 yen. This time, it's the white omelette rice for 500 yen. Well, saying "white" for omelette rice doesn't really have much impact. Maybe red or green would have been better.

I can't imagine from its appearance, but this is omurice. In addition to green, there are also black, red, white, and normal yellow. This time, I had the green one (600 yen). I was curious about it after seeing it introduced on the TV show "Magic Restaurant" on December 8, 2014, featuring secret egg dishes loved by super famous people. This shop seems to be mainly for takeout. There are camping tables and chairs set up, so you can also enjoy it at the shop. It comes in a container like a convenience store bento. When eating at the shop, miso soup is also included. This green color is the color of spinach. The Japanese-style pilaf with leeks and small pieces of fish is rolled in the specialty egg mixed with spinach puree. Grated daikon radish is on top. The sauce is ponzu. When you order, you can hear the sound of rice being fried inside the shop. They cook it in a genuine way. The thinly cooked egg and fluffy pilaf go well together and taste delicious. Despite being contrary to the word "color," this omurice is rich in originality.

On April 30, 2014, I had some business in Tenkachaya, so I decided to go eat omurice as well. I like this place because it's colorful and inexpensive. I was looking forward to trying the blue omurice today, but it was no longer on the menu, which was disappointing. I ended up getting the white omurice instead. The weather was nice with a gentle breeze, perfect for eating outside. It was lunchtime, so locals, couples, and office workers on break were all coming in to buy food. The white omurice had the egg white wrapped around it, and you could choose between ketchup or demi-glace sauce. I chose demi-glace. The rice had ketchup with mushrooms mixed in. It was delicious as always. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. I had been wanting to visit this place after seeing it on TV. We went around 7 PM. Most people were getting takeout, so we were the only ones eating in. Eating outside might be hot in the summer, but it's nice in the current season. The omurice with colored toppings like green or red was mostly priced at 500 yen. Such a good deal! I wanted the blue omurice, but it was sold out, so I got the red one. My friend got the green omurice. The red one had a sweet chili sauce on top, and the rice had ketchup, with bell peppers and mushrooms inside. It wasn't spicy and was pretty tasty. My friend's green omurice was spinach-colored with fried rice inside, topped with grated daikon and ponzu sauce. It was a nice Japanese-style dish and quite delicious. I was thirsty, so the chilled tea was very refreshing. I drank three cups. We also ordered the black omurice for takeout. It seemed to be made with squid ink and bamboo charcoal, with garlic rice. It looked delicious. I want to try the blue omurice next time.

Tenkacha-ya Omurice Kin no Hane Tamago Located a little south of Tenkacha-ya Station, near the sideways street (Matsumushi-dori) after crossing the street and turning left, I visited Kin no Hane Tamago. This restaurant offers colorful omurice made from natural ingredients. They also have a variety of a la carte dishes and bento boxes. The Red Omurice for 500 yen has a "hot and sweet harmony of chili sauce and red pepper." It may look spicy, but it's actually quite sweet, maybe due to the chili sauce. My mom thought it was too sweet. The inside was garlic rice, I think. The Blue Omurice for 500 yen has a striking color, but I forgot to ask why it's blue. Maybe food coloring? "Butter rice with pumpkin and sweet potato. Slightly sweet and delicious!" It may not look very pretty in the photo, but you can see the pumpkin, right? This one had a more natural and gentle flavor. Overall, it was quite good. In September, they offered complimentary tea to customers dining in and free chicken and potatoes for orders over 1000 yen. Such great service! The portion size was filling, and for 500 yen, it was satisfying. The dining space had an open feel like a poolside snack bar, which I found interesting. I was initially unsure about it, but it seems many customers prefer to dine in. Makes sense. It's convenient, especially on windy days or in colder weather. Next time, I'll try a different color. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant after checking it out on Tabelog. The interior was all yellow with a Billiken statue and music playing from a music box, creating a whimsical atmosphere. I ordered the Blue Omurice and Premium Omurice for takeout. It took about 10 minutes for the order to be ready. The interior was interesting with various decorations, so I didn't get bored waiting. As for the taste, the "Blue Omurice" didn't suit my palate. The white sauce and omurice had different flavors and I couldn't finish it all. I heard that the blue color comes from seaweed. On the other hand, the "Premium Omurice" was recommended! The egg portion was generous and the demiglace sauce was delicious. I realized that I prefer regular omurice after trying both. I thought there might be something extra included as a service based on the Tabelog reviews, but unfortunately, there wasn't anything. Disappointing.

On March 14, 2023, after shopping at the "Gyomu Super" near Tenkacha Station, I remembered a takeout bento shop called "Kin no Hane Tamago," known for its omurice, which I had bought once before. I decided to buy the classic "Western-style Omurice" (550 yen) and added the set option of "Tonkatsu & Karaage" for an additional 400 yen. The "Western-style Omurice" was a traditional and satisfying dish with ketchup rice that had a balanced acidity. The "Tonkatsu" and "Karaage" in the set also had a good portion size and were delicious. I had chosen the classic omurice last time, so next time I want to try a different variation of omurice. #Kishisato #Omurice #Kin no Hane Tamago

I had always been curious about this restaurant. Since club activities were prohibited before the test, and lunch was eaten at home, my son requested me to buy from this restaurant the day before. The variety of omurice was impressive. I made a phone reservation for the yellow, green, and black omurice, and went to pick them up. The yellow omurice was ketchup rice with ham and mushrooms. The green omurice was a Japanese-style pilaf with leeks and small fish, topped with grated ponzu. The black omurice was made with garlic rice and bamboo charcoal. Currently, there is no blue omurice on the menu. The yellow omurice was simply delicious, a regular omurice. The green omurice was unique and even elderly people who don't like omurice found it delicious. Don't be fooled by the appearance, it's a refreshing and very tasty omurice. The black omurice had a strong garlic flavor and tasted like squid ink pasta, and it was delicious.
