Chicken tempura udon for 880 yen, mini chicken tempura rice bowl for 300 yen, shrimp tempura curry udon for 1380 yen, and Japanese sake for 550 yen, all prices excluding tax. Last time, I ordered in front of the store, but this time I used a tablet. I wonder if it takes longer. The cold udon noodles were quite firm, so I tried the hot udon noodles this time. They were soft and good. However, the taste of Sanuki udon was not as strong. I couldn't really tell the difference in the broth, so I'm fine with cold udon. The chicken tempura came with three pieces and even had shiitake mushrooms, which felt like a good deal. There was also a mini chicken tempura rice bowl, which was overflowing with chicken tempura. If you're really hungry, it might be worth getting. I wish there was a bit more rice. I also tried the limited-time curry udon. It had a Japanese-style taste, with hints of shiso and perilla leaves. There were two thin shrimp tempura pieces. The Japanese sake was from Hiroshima, I think it was called "Hiro One." It was easy to drink. I really like the chicken tempura udon. This is good enough for the udon. I'll have to think about the rice bowls a bit more.

Bamboo shoot and chicken tempura udon for 800 yen (excluding tax). The udon had grated daikon radish on top and looked delicious. The portion seemed small, and it actually was small. But it's understandable since it's located near the station. The udon was quite firm, firmer than the last time I had it. However, it was still delicious. The chicken tempura had a strong soy sauce flavor and was tasty. I should have ordered the chicken tempura udon. The fish cake tempura was too salty. It wasn't necessary. The egg tempura was also not needed. The udon and chicken tempura were delicious. Maybe because I was alone, other customers were using tablets, but I ordered at the counter.

I visited this restaurant with high expectations because the broth and the udon noodles were amazing at the main store. I ordered the Ebi Tori Tempura Udon Set (hot) and the Tori Tempura Bukkake Udon with Katsuobushi Rice. The Bukkake Udon had a nice chewy texture and the broth was delicious! However, the hot udon had a light broth and lacked the same quality as the main store. The noodles were not as chewy either. Also, the tempura felt heavy on the stomach, so I couldn't finish it all and had some help. The Bukkake Udon and Katsuobushi Rice were very delicious! I think this restaurant is good as long as you choose the right menu. Thank you for the meal!

I visited during lunchtime on a regular day. Since it was 11:30, I was able to enter without waiting in line. The atmosphere was different from the main store in Honmachi, but the taste was still delicious. I ordered the tempura chicken udon with a half-cooked egg tempura on top. There was not much wasabi and green onions. The tempura was fried in a homemade style, so you have to eat it quickly before it gets cold. I also noticed a lack of cleanliness throughout the restaurant, such as the touch panel, the area to place it, the appearance of the staff, and the storage area for belongings. The entrance and interior floors were slippery, which made me feel unsafe. The staff was too blunt and it left me feeling disappointed. There were too many issues, so I gave a harsh evaluation.

Tempura and udon restaurant located in the underground bar district of Lucua. Ordered the Tempura Bowl and Cold Udon Set for ¥1250. The Tempura Bowl had a large amount of chicken tempura, but the rice was quite soft, making it not very suitable for a bowl. The tempura itself was plentiful, which was appreciated. The cold udon had a strong texture, and the udon itself was delicious. However, the dipping sauce was too strong, not matching well with the udon. Personally, I would prefer to enjoy the texture of the udon with a lighter flavor. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not well-maintained, as even when seated, there was a smell of damp cloth. Looking forward to improvements in the future.

While on a business trip in Osaka, I finally got to visit this place that I couldn't go to last time because of the long line. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Bukkake Udon for 935 yen with a half-cooked egg tempura topping for an additional 176 yen. The chicken tempura was huge! But the udon portion was small! I wanted more udon. The udon had a nice chewy texture and was delicious. I wanted to eat more. The egg tempura had a really runny yolk, which was just right. I visited this place for a late lunch after a business trip in Osaka. They were preparing udon, so I had to wait for about an hour. I agreed and waited. After a while, they offered to seat me with a regular size udon. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Udon for 935 yen. The udon had a strong and delicious dashi flavor with a hint of acidity from the bonito flakes. The tempura consisted of 3 pieces of juicy chicken tempura and a small vegetable tempura. The chicken tempura was hot and tasty, I even burned my mouth a little. Overall, it was a delicious meal and I would like to visit again if I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal.

During my visit, I also stopped by "Honmachi Seimenjo Ten" at the Lucua Osaka store. The store is located on the 2nd basement floor of Lucua Osaka, in the gourmet area of Balcika. I ordered the "Chicken Tempura Udon". The balance was off as there was too much tempura compared to the udon portion. However, the amount of udon was standard for one person, so it was a bit tricky to figure out what to do.

The "Chicken Tempura Udon" came with chicken tempura and mushroom tempura served on separate plates. The udon noodles were slightly thick with a chewy texture. The broth was average with nothing particularly noteworthy. It was interesting to see wasabi served instead of ginger, which I personally liked. Each tempura piece was quite large. The chicken tempura consisted of three stick-shaped pieces with a juicy and tender meat texture. The thin crispy coating provided a nice contrast. However, it might be a bit heavy on the stomach for some people.

The staff provided polite service with regular refills of water. Orders were placed using a touch panel system to avoid contact, and it was nice to see the restaurant operating continuously.

I have actually been to this shop once before, and I remembered it when I was thinking about where to have dinner around Osaka Station at night, so I decided to visit again. Last time, I arrived late and the popular chicken tempura was sold out, so I ordered something else. This time, I was also late... and I was a bit worried if they would have it... but they did! So I chose the chicken tempura on rice without hesitation. In addition, I personally love bamboo shoot tempura and egg tempura, so I added those as well... The chicken tempura was more voluminous than I expected, a bit too much (laughs). The tempura and udon noodles are served separately. The udon noodles had a rich flavor, perfect for a hot night during Golden Week. The tempura, although there was a lot, was incredibly delicious and crispy as if it was just fried. This shop tends to have items sold out if you go late at night, but the deliciousness surpasses that. Thank you for the meal.

Honmachi Seimenjo, first visit to Ten-san. I always see long lines during lunch on weekends, but I visited just after the lunch rush on a weekday, so I was able to get in without waiting. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Bukkake (935 yen) using the touch panel at the table, and it arrived shortly. The tempura was bigger and more plentiful than I expected! The chicken tempura was crispy on the outside, juicy and hot on the inside, and the mushroom tempura was plump and delicious. The udon noodles were nicely chilled and had a firm and chewy texture. There was only one female staff member working hard, probably because orders are taken through the panel. Just a heads up, the low chairs at the table seats were a bit slippery, so be careful when you visit!

It's been a while since I had dinner with friends. My friend had kitsune udon, and I had chicken tempura udon. The broth was delicious and the noodles had a good texture! The kitsune udon was big and tasty, and the chicken tempura and shiitake mushroom tempura were crispy and very delicious. I feel like eating udon again, so I'll definitely come back.

Located underground in Lucua, Honmachi Seimenjo is an udon restaurant where I only had to wait for a short time before being seated. It's a great place to dine alone. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Udon. The broth of the udon had a strong bonito flavor, was very clear, and had a comforting taste. The noodles were of a standard thickness. The chicken and shiitake mushroom tempura were crispy and freshly fried. Especially the chicken tempura was freshly fried, with a crispy coating. In Osaka Station underground, I found myself at an odd time for lunch. I decided to head to Lucua underground on the north side. After some hesitation, I chose to eat at Honmachi Seimenjo Ten in Lucua Osaka. When I entered, it seemed a bit chaotic. I realized they were short-staffed as I placed my order and waited. The food took a while to arrive, but when it did, I enjoyed my Chicken Tempura Udon. It was delicious, as expected from this chain. However, it seemed challenging for the lone staff member to handle everything. Despite the slow service, customers were coming in and out. It was a tough time to manage, but I hope they can improve their efficiency a bit. Thank you for the meal.

A branch of a udon restaurant with its main store located in Honcho. I ordered the anago tempura udon. This shop focuses more on tempura than udon! The tempura was big, fluffy, and crispy, and very delicious. The chicken tempura was juicy and tasty too.

I had a job in Osaka and went out for lunch! I arrived a little before the lunch rush around 11 am, so I was able to get a seat, but a line started forming afterwards! The restaurant was still crowded around 3 pm on the weekend for lunch and dinner. It is located in the same area as a famous restaurant in Osaka, and the facility also houses a popular second branch of a well-known dining establishment. I visited because I was craving udon noodles. I only had to wait about 10 minutes. I was indecisive about the menu, but ended up ordering the cold noodles with tempura and chikuwa topping. The tempura was not fried well, but the noodles had a good texture. However, the broth lacked flavor and the tempura was disappointing. The restaurant's operation was not great either, with a clean interior but dirty floors and sticky basket handles. Unless you are craving udon noodles near Osaka Station, I would not recommend revisiting this place. It seems to cater more to tourists rather than locals.

I entered without waiting because there was a seat available, but had to wait for over 10 minutes after ordering for the udon to be boiled. The explanation was given. The chicken tempura was large, and it was more delicious to eat it as it is rather than dipping it in the udon. The udon was on the softer side. The broth was rich.
