Kashiya Tonkotsu Ramen for 800 yen This time, the featured ramen shop is "Kashiya" located in Tamade. I wonder if the famous "Super Tamade" started around here? The main office seems to be located here. The shop is about a 3-minute walk from the station. I visited just before the evening on a holiday, and there were no customers waiting. I waited alone until the shop opened, and there were no customers after me. It was probably just a coincidence. Once I entered, I was seated and placed my order verbally. You pay at the register in the back after eating. I ordered the signature dish, "Kashiya Tonkotsu Ramen"! The ramen was served quickly, in about 4 minutes. Let's dig in! Soup: The rich and creamy pork bone flavor blends perfectly with the seafood umami. It has a balanced double soup flavor with a deeper richness than mass-produced ramen. It was so good that I got more hooked as I ate, with a captivating taste that drew me in more as I continued eating. Noodles: The thick, wavy noodles have a pleasantly chewy texture and great flavor. They complement the soup well and are just perfect. Toppings: The thin slices of pork belly were flavorful, and the half-seasoned egg that comes with it was a nice touch. The chopped green onions added a refreshing touch that went well with the rest of the toppings. Overall, the balance was excellent, earning it a 4 out of 5 rating! But the highlight was definitely the soup. It may not stand out, but the rich and addictive flavor made me finish it all in no time.

I visited around 8 pm on Friday. Although it was stated on Tabelog that they are open until 20:45, they told me they were closing. However, they offered to make their signature tonkotsu ramen for me. It was a mild tonkotsu flavor, not too strong. I realized that I'm not a big fan of tonkotsu ramen. I would recommend it to those who prefer a light tonkotsu broth.

I arrived at the restaurant right after it opened and almost all the seats were taken, but I was able to get in with almost no wait time. I ordered the tsukemen and chashu rice bowl. The soup was rich and delicious. There are only 6 seats, so it seems like there will always be a line, but it was so good that it was worth it.

I arrived at 12:30 and luckily there was one seat available when I entered the restaurant! I got it! By the way, the top shelf is used for storing luggage. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the ramen arrived! The soup looks delicious as always... First, I took a sip of the soup... It has a rich flavor of seafood-infused pork bone soup, with a smooth and mellow taste that lingers. The noodles are curly and medium-thick, with a chewy texture that goes well with the soup. The char siu has a tender texture and is full of flavor! The seasoned soft-boiled egg has a runny yolk and a well-seasoned taste. Above all, the garlic soy sauce on the table is amazing! When you add it, the ramen transforms into an incredibly delicious one with a punch of flavor and sharpness. It's amazing how garlic can do that... The extra noodles are thin and have a crispy texture, which surprisingly goes really well with this pork bone soup. Maybe even better than the medium-thick noodles... Yeah, it's definitely delicious... Thank you for the meal!

Today, I had lunch in Osaka Nishinari. I don't come to this area often, so I didn't know any restaurants here. I looked up on Tabelog and the first restaurant that came up was this one. When I arrived, there was a wait of about 4-5 people. I got seated in about 10 minutes. The restaurant was small, with only a counter and about 7-8 seats. I ordered the recommended Kashiya ramen and karaage don. The karaage was incredibly delicious! The ramen was tonkotsu shoyu, rich and tasty.

Visited on Sunday, waited for one group until 11:22, opened at 11:30, seated. Half of the seats were occupied by 11:36. Food arrived at 11:36, left at 11:45. Half of the seats were still occupied. Located about a 5-minute walk from Tamade Station. You order at the counter after being seated, which is unusual. The interior is filled with autographs of famous people! Tonkotsu ramen for ¥880 is a tonkotsu-based soup with a seafood flavor that is easy to eat. The noodles are thin and smooth, so even those who don't like the strong smell or heaviness of tonkotsu can enjoy it!

Located just before the shopping street that continues from the station in Minamikaigan, this restaurant will become one of the top 100 restaurants in 2022. With only 6 seats, it fills up quickly. I ordered their recommended Kashiya Tonkotsu ramen for 800 yen. The soup is made by carefully extracting high-quality broth from 6 types of bonito and dried sardines, simmered for 16 hours. It is a double soup with a creamy foam-like texture, combining the umami components of Japanese-style broth with the unique creamy and smooth texture of tonkotsu soup, without any unpleasant smell. The medium-thick curly noodles have a chewy texture and go perfectly with the soup. I thought it was a delicate pork bone soup. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant had incredibly high ratings on Tabelog and I had been curious about it for a while. However, I never had the chance to visit because it was too far from where I usually go. When I visited for lunch on a holiday, there was only a 2-minute wait for a table. Surprisingly, even though it was a popular spot, there were only 6 people waiting when it opened. The tonkotsu tsukemen was delicious, with a rich tonkotsu broth that was a bit salty but tasty. The medium thick noodles paired perfectly with the soup. The tsukemen was surprisingly light compared to the tonkotsu broth, and the thick noodles were delicious and went well with it. The service was quick, so the turnover was fast. Overall, it's an easy place to visit because you know the wait times are manageable.

Osaka 100 famous restaurant tour ✨ Today, I visited Kashiya, located about a 3-minute walk from Tamade Station! It was lunchtime but there was no line, so I decided to order their classic "Kashiya Tonkotsu" ramen. The soup had a nice harmony of the richness of pork bone and the refreshing taste of Japanese broth, making it rich but easy to drink at the same time! It was a mysteriously delicious experience ❤️ Thank you for the meal!

I feel like eating at Kashiya again♪ I couldn't decide between the dipping noodles, but I also wanted to try a mini rice bowl, so I ordered the Kashiya tonkotsu ramen with crispy fried chicken rice bowl♪ The rich tonkotsu broth is always delicious, and the crispy fried chicken is so tasty with its sweet and savory sauce♪ It wasn't crowded when I arrived, but it started to get busy and there was a line outside. Thank you for the meal♪

Since October 2019, I hadn't visited "Kashiya" in Tamade. Finally, on Sunday, July 23, 2023, I had the chance to visit. I arrived at 11:52 and had to wait outside as the third in line. I got seated at 12:04 and ordered. The tsukemen arrived at 12:12, and by 12:24, I paid and left. I had the special tsukemen, large size, with 350g for 1230 yen. The creamy dipping broth based on pork bone and seafood was delicious. The thick noodles made from a blend of several types of domestic wheat had a strong texture and were satisfying. The special version had plenty of char siu, which was a luxurious treat. I finished with the soup refill, enjoying the tasty dipping broth to the last drop. It was a very satisfying finish. I'm glad I could visit after a long time. Thank you for the meal. #Kashiya #Tamade

Visited as the second stop for lunch on a regular day. Arrived a little after 11:30, and the restaurant was full inside with no line outside. Waited for less than 10 minutes before being seated. This place in Tamade is a popular shop known for its tonkotsu ramen. The interior has only 6 counter seats with no dividers, and the space feels cozy with a touch of age. Ordered the "Special Tsukemen Regular for 1030 yen" this time. The noodles, made with whole wheat flour, have a unique chewy texture and a pleasant throat feel when eaten alone. They are a blend of several types of wheat and udon flour, which enhances both the texture and flavor. The dipping sauce is a blend of tonkotsu and seafood broth, with a comforting Japanese dashi flavor. It uses 6 types of dried fish and 16-hour simmered tonkotsu soup, creating a well-balanced taste. The foam on top also adds a nice touch. However, the synergy between the thin dipping sauce and noodles could be improved. Toppings included pork shoulder char siu, seasoned egg, bean sprouts, and green onions on the noodle side, and pork belly on the dipping sauce side. The pork shoulder char siu was tender and flavorful, while the pork belly shone with its delicious fat. It was a satisfying tsukemen with a delightful Japanese dashi flavor. If I were to visit again, I would like to try their tonkotsu ramen. Thank you for the meal!

Chashu Kashiyato Tonkotsu for 1,100 yen. Even on a Saturday afternoon, if you arrive a few minutes before opening time, you can get a seat on the first round. True to their aim of creating a gentle tonkotsu, the soup blends both pork bone and seafood flavors, both of which are delicious and well-balanced. The soup is slightly thick and served piping hot.

I ordered the menu ☆ Kashiya Tonkotsu for 880 yen (tax included). It is a ramen with a rich tonkotsu soup made from carefully extracted dashi from 6 types of bonito and dried sardines, simmered for 16 hours. It's not a strong flavor, but a gentle and satisfying ramen. Thank you for the meal, Kashiya!

I arrived around noon! I thought there might be a long line at the popular shop, but I was able to get in without waiting, although the restaurant was full! This was my second visit, the first one being about 5 years ago. I couldn't remember the taste at all. This time, I had the Rich Tonkotsu with Back Fat and the Fish Dashi Soba with a half-boiled egg topping. The Rich Tonkotsu was not too thick and had a nice balance of richness. The Fish Dashi Soba had a clear and flavorful broth that was light but still had a strong taste. Personally, I preferred the Fish Dashi one! The thin noodles were easy to eat and delicious. I didn't have any specific standout impressions, but it was consistently tasty and satisfying. I saw the special dipping noodles and they looked delicious, so I would like to try them next time I visit. Thank you for the meal!

I had some business at Izumiya in Tenkachaya and decided to visit this place that had caught my attention for a while. The ramen was served in about 6 minutes after I arrived at 11:15 on a sunny weekday. There was a line with one group of two people, but no customers waiting when the store opened. It quickly became full after opening. The tonkotsu ramen had a mild and Japanese-style flavor. The gentle richness of the tonkotsu, the aroma of seafood that comes through the nose, and the sweetness and richness of soy sauce were all present. The curly noodles had a good texture and were chewy, and the thick chashu slices allowed you to fully enjoy the flavor of the meat. The crispness of the leeks and kaiware, along with the spiciness, added a nice accent. You could also change the flavor by adding some garlic soy sauce at the table. I personally enjoyed adding a little to the soup at the end for an extra punch. It was delicious - thank you for the meal! ### Shop Information ### Located about a 15-minute walk from Tenkachaya Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line, and about a 3-minute walk from Tamade Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. Kashiya Tonkotsu (880 yen). About a 3-minute walk from Tamade Station. No waiting time outside or inside. The creamy tonkotsu soup has a strong salty flavor. The curly noodles mix well with the soup. The chashu has a good amount of volume. The egg is soft with a preferred semi-soft yolk. Despite tonkotsu ramen usually being heavy, this one is surprisingly not overwhelming. Delicious. Makes you want to visit again.

Tabelog Ramen Hyakumeiten WEST 2022 selected as one of the top 100 in Western Japan, ranking 41st out of 100. Tabelog overall rating 3.75. Visit date: Friday, June 16, 2023, 19:35. Order: - Rich pork bone ramen 880 yen - Extra noodles 200 yen - Kashiya pork bone ramen 880 yen - Crispy fried chicken 450 yen. This was my 7th visit in about 3 years. Luckily, there was no line outside, so we were able to enter immediately. The place was full with one group of customers already seated. Shortly after, a line started to form outside. I originally wanted to try the dipping noodles, but they were sold out for the day, so I switched to the "Kashiya pork bone ramen" (formerly known as Japanese-style pork bone ramen). The rich pork bone ramen had thin noodles cooked al dente, with a classic pork bone flavor. The soup was thick and creamy with a hint of sweetness from the pork bone, but not overly oily. It was delicious, just like I remembered. The Kashiya pork bone ramen had medium thick curly noodles that perfectly absorbed the flavorful soup. The soup had a strong seafood taste, overshadowing the pork bone flavor, which left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. Despite the long time since my last visit, the rich pork bone ramen was still as delicious as ever.

When comparing the tonkotsu ramen at this restaurant to other tonkotsu ramen, it feels like it is more focused on a mellow flavor. Personally, I found it easy to eat and likely to appeal to many people, but it left me slightly unsatisfied. However, the moment I added the garlic soy sauce on the table, it transformed instantly into a bold and aggressive flavor. I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" when I tasted it. This is a game-changer.

Arrived around 5:50 p.m. on Saturday. No other customers. Took less than 10 minutes to be served. The noodles were thicker than expected and cooked quickly. The chashu had less fat and tasted more like chicken breast, but it was a bit dry. The soup was okay, but for tsukemen, it was quite light in flavor. You could drink it without the dipping soup. The straight thick noodles didn't mix well and the balance seemed off.

On Tuesday afternoon, walk about 3 minutes north from Tamade Station Exit 1, sit on the chairs outside and wait a bit before entering. Inside the compact restaurant with an L-shaped counter that can seat about 6 people, there is a shelf above to store your belongings. After ordering the limited edition Kama-age tsukemen, wait a bit before it arrives. The hot fish broth soup is served with thick whole wheat noodles, which have a strong wheat flavor and a firm texture. You can eat them with the fish broth alone if you prefer. The super rich pork bone dipping sauce has a foamy texture and a light sweetness. As you eat the noodles dipped in the sauce, the richness of the pork bone sauce becomes milder due to the fish broth. The thinly sliced pork loin, which comes in about 3 pieces, has a tender texture and a delicate umami flavor. There are also small blocks of pork belly in the bottom of the dipping sauce. Finally, you can mix the dipping sauce with dashi to create a luxurious tsukemen experience. Next time, I want to try the Kashiyatonkotsu or the rich tonkotsu with back fat. Thank you for the meal.
