The coffee today was just to my liking, strong and delicious. On my way out, I bought some bread and pastries as souvenirs.

I wondered if the menu had been updated recently because I noticed there were more options. I decided to try the "Sakura Special Morning" which included a drink for an additional 460 yen. It was very filling, so I took the croissant in a bag to go.

This restaurant seems to be very popular, and it is always crowded when I go, but on this day, luckily I was seated right away. When I asked about the seasonal parfait, they said it was a mango parfait. It was delicious with lots of blueberries and Baumkuchen on top!

You can enjoy a leisurely morning coffee while looking out at the garden. I arrived smoothly around 11 am without any wait. It seems like there is always a line in the morning. Today's coffee was from Colombia, and I had two cups. The delicious sandwich was fluffy. The fruit yogurt was tasty, but it would be even better with some extra fruit added.

I went to Sakura Coffee for breakfast after a long time. I ordered the Sakura toast and fluffy sandwich. The honey butter on the Sakura toast was sweet and delicious. The Colombian straight coffee had a good balance and was easy to drink. It was delicious.

This year, I couldn't go cherry blossom viewing, so I decided to visit "Sakura Coffee" cafe instead. It was a weekday in early April around 3:30 PM. The first parking lot was about 60% full, and the inside of the cafe was about 50% full, mostly with older ladies chatting over cakes and coffee. Despite the lively atmosphere, the cafe was quiet and peaceful, perfect for enjoying a meal. I ordered the "Sakura Bento Chicken Sandwich" set which included a sandwich, cake, traditional Japanese sweets, chocolate, and a choice of coffee, all for around 1,500 yen. It was lovely and spring-like, with rapeseed flowers and pickled cherry blossoms in the sandwich. The portion sizes were generous, and I was very satisfied with both the sandwich and dessert. The whipped cream on the dessert was light and fluffy, and absolutely delicious. I thought it would be nice if they offered an option to switch to a cake from the display case for those who don't like whipped cream. I also tried the "Today's Cake Set" which included a choice of cake, ice cream, baked confectionery, and a drink for around 1,000 yen. I chose the Strawberry Mont Blanc with pistachio cream inside, as I love pistachios. The cakes in the display case were all sparkling and beautiful, making it a difficult choice. The cherry blossom trees in the courtyard were still in full bloom, adding to the lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a great start to the first half of the year! Thank you for the wonderful meal. Additional note: There is a second parking lot available, and the cafe is accessible for those with mobility issues as there are no stairs or second-floor seating.

Christmas with my husband enjoying a night of Sakura coffee cake set. This time it came with canelé. The ice cream was hojicha flavor, rich in tea taste and delicious. The chocolate chiffon cake was fluffy and tasty, especially the one with whipped cream.

In Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, there is a cafe called "Sakura Coffee" Hohoemoten. It was my first time venturing south of Sakai, towards Izumi and southern Osaka, as my son attends university in that area. Before heading to the university festival at the end of October, where parents and outsiders were allowed to attend due to the pandemic, I decided to have breakfast at Sakura Coffee. I had been wanting to visit this cafe for a while, and this time I tried the "Sakura Waffle Morning" set. It included a choice of drink (I chose a cafe au lait for 570 yen) with an additional 310 yen. The crispy waffle topped with butter and maple syrup, a vegetable salad with burdock and lotus root, fluffy scrambled eggs, and sausage. It also came with yogurt and fruit, making for a luxurious breakfast that really lifted my spirits. My husband chose the "Sakura Morning" set, which also looked delicious with two types of toast, ham and eggs, vegetable salad, and yogurt with fruit. The cafe has a large cherry blossom tree in the courtyard, providing a fitting atmosphere for the name of the cafe. In spring, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the cherry blossoms while enjoying your meal inside. They also offer Baumkuchen, a variety of cakes, and tempting parfaits that can be taken out. I would love to go back and try their sweets next time.

"I thought 'Coffee Jelly' was good, but this 'Nagomi' is not bad either." That's what I thought when I tried this Japanese sweet called "Nagomi" this time. On this day in August, I visited "Sakura Coffee" to buy some gifts and iced coffee for home. However, once I arrived at the store, I felt that just iced coffee alone would be lonely, so I decided to buy some cakes to take home as well. Among them, the one that left a lasting impression on me was "Nagomi." It is a mini Japanese-style parfait packed with warabi mochi, red bean-flavored mousse, black beans, chestnuts, matcha jelly (and I believe hojicha jelly) in a cup, perfect for takeout. The "Coffee Jelly" that I also purchased was easy to carry around, with authentic coffee-flavored jelly and cafe au lait-flavored whipped cream, a taste unique to a coffee specialty shop. However, I realized that "Nagomi" was also well-made and could hold its own against regular cake shops. I recommend it for those who love Japanese sweets. I'm not sure if "Coffee Jelly" and "Nagomi" were limited to summer, but for those living in the Izumi area where "Sakura Coffee" is located, or anyone looking for summer takeout sweets other than ice cream or ice candy, please consider this as a reference.

No matter how many times I go, I always feel satisfied every time at this restaurant. It's called "Sakura Coffee Ho-ten" and it's just as good as the "Sakura Coffee Kishiwada" branch near my house, so I can choose based on my mood that day. Both locations have parking available. The interior is quite spacious with table seating surrounding a courtyard. It's always full, even on weekends, so you often have to write your name on a waiting board and wait. The Sakura Toast Morning set includes two types of lightly toasted bread with plenty of butter, a slightly fancy crispy vegetable salad, a yogurt with lots of fresh fruit, a boiled egg, and two types of fruit jam. You can choose any drink from the menu, with the drink price (from 460 yen) plus the morning set price (from 250 yen) to pay. My husband usually goes for iced coffee with a sandwich or hot dog, while I prefer hot milk tea or Sakura blend coffee with the toast morning set because the air conditioning inside is too cold for me. The toast morning set comes with two types of daily toast that are always delicious, so I often end up buying some to take home. It may be a bit pricey in the end, but it's worth it for the taste. On days when they serve normal half-sized slices of regular white bread, it's a bit disappointing, but this time the daily toast was a hit, so I bought the half-sized black bean bread, chocolate Danish bread, and poppy seed and walnut bread to take home.

The recently popular coffee chain store in Hōfu is located a bit far from the main station, so it is recommended to come by car. I visited after having yakiniku in Sakai. I enjoyed sandwiches, parfaits, and coffee in the spacious store. They also have cakes, so it is a recommended place for friends or families to visit.

I visited the Ho Coffee Sakura Main Store during cherry blossom season. The weeping cherry trees in the courtyard are in full bloom. No matter where you sit, you have a great view of the courtyard. The building of Ho Coffee is designed in a corridor style, following the architectural style. I ordered the Sakura Dark Blend with Sakura Toast Morning, which is available until 2 pm. I was torn between the Sakura Dark Blend and the daily special, Colombian, but I chose the Sakura Dark Blend. I drank it black as usual, and it had a strong bitterness and a rich flavor, which I enjoyed. The Sakura Toast is a combination of raisin toast and regular toast. The fruit yogurt is filled with cut fruits. The salad has crispy vegetables, and my favorite way to eat it is to mix the salad with the boiled egg using a fork. Cherry blossoms are also over... I have one coffee ticket left until Sunday. The past few times, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and all the shops had full parking lots. I also took home a strawberry and Basque cheese pie that caught my eye at the checkout. It was like a cake-like pie♪

Here at 'Sakura Coffee', during this spring season, we light up the cherry blossoms in the restaurant's grounds. I hadn't seen the cherry blossoms here in a while, so I decided to visit the main store on this evening. I had already eaten dinner before coming to the restaurant, and initially, I was planning to just order coffee. However, I noticed a seasonal limited menu item on the menu that caught my eye. It was the set menu I tried this time, the "Spring Strawberry Fruit Sandwich". It is a dish made with homemade bread sandwiching fresh cream and strawberries, along with homemade Baumkuchen. While many people associate strawberries with Christmas cake toppings, the strawberry season is actually in spring. So, I personally thought it would be nice to enjoy the cherry blossoms while eating a strawberry sandwich instead of traditional sakura dango. In terms of taste, the moist homemade bread paired well with the perfect sweetness of the strawberries and cream, and the crispy Baumkuchen added an interesting texture contrast. I'm not sure how long this strawberry sandwich will be available, but considering the blooming status of the cherry blossoms I saw that day, it's likely available until mid-April. If you enjoy cherry blossom viewing or love strawberries and fruit sandwiches, I recommend giving it a try."
