Today, I decided to try something different, so I skipped the egg omelette and looked at options like grilled fish, fried food, and simmered dishes. But I didn't feel like having grilled fish or fried food. I ended up back at square one, staring at the empty dishes on the counter. So, I ended up ordering the usual egg omelette with grated radish on top. For the miso soup, I added plenty of seaweed. I topped the rice with lots of seaweed as well. The pickled Chinese cabbage was a bonus. In the end, I always end up ordering the same menu items. However, the portion of rice is quite large, almost four times what I usually eat. If I ever feel like having my usual menu, I'll come back again, haha.

In October, before work in the morning, I went to Rinku no Yu for a bath, then explored the area a bit after extending my visit to the outlet mall. I stopped by the post office along the national highway before returning to the outlet mall. I was planning to have lunch there, but then I found this restaurant next to the post office. Since I had some free time, I decided to go in. It may not be anything special, but there were some small thoughtful touches. There were various options to choose from, which was convenient. The food wasn't overly made, and it was warm. I had beef sukiyaki, miso soup, pumpkin and sweet potato salad, okra side dish, and rice for less than 1000 yen. The portion size and price were sufficient for older people. The taste was just right, not too strong or too weak, passing as a normal set meal. The rice was delicious. Tea was complimentary, but coffee cost 100 yen. The staff also greeted customers energetically. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was bright and better compared to the Kansai Airport dining area. There were a fair number of customers coming in at that time.

I visited Fuji Food's Hagurasaki Shokudo in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture. It is located next to the former Route 26, near the Hagurasaki Post Office. I visited around 12 pm on a weekday in November. I originally planned to have lunch at Kame Seimen, which is located across the street, but the long line outside the entrance made me change my mind. I chose the following menu items: Kama-fuki Gohan (rice cooked in a pot) for 137 yen, miso soup for 84 yen, menchi katsu (minced meat cutlet) for 178 yen, nikujaga (meat and potato stew) for 157 yen, and fried taro for 105 yen, totaling 661 yen. The kama-fuki gohan was particularly delicious. What's great about this place is that you can create your own favorite set meal by choosing any dish, and you can also enjoy freshly fried or grilled items depending on the time. You can also control the cost by choosing dishes based on your budget. I would rate it 3.5 stars.

We went to eat with our family for lunch! They have a variety of dishes to choose from! If you want Japanese food, I would choose this place. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and they have a wide selection of rice dishes, so we always try something different each time we go. There are many restaurants in the same chain, but we like this one because it's close to our home and the staff are friendly. They recently renovated the place, and the new interior is very beautiful, which left a good impression on us. We will definitely visit again with our family.

Sometimes when I feel lazy to cook lunch, I rely on this place. Today, I had a cream croquette bento. Some bentos come with rice and side dishes together, but I always prefer to buy them separately. The rice is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Besides the main dish, there are also side dishes included, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) is especially tasty! I had lunch on my day off. Today, I bought a fried fish bento. Fried fish bentos usually come with sauce and tartar sauce already on them, but this bento comes separately so you can adjust it yourself. I don't need much sauce, so I really appreciate that. Thank you for the meal today ☺️

On April 26, 2021 (Monday), which was a substitute public holiday, I decided to go shopping and while riding my bike, I came across the "Hagurasaki Shokudo" restaurant in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture. They were selling takeout bento boxes, and I thought it would be perfect for lunch, so I stopped by and bought one. When I got home around 1:00 PM, I immediately prepared and enjoyed the bento box I purchased from Hagurasaki Shokudo. The daily lunch bento box for 500 yen included rice, kinpira gobou (burdock root), tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), the main dish of chicken nanban, and pickled ginger. The chicken nanban, made with tender chicken in a sweet and savory sauce, was incredibly delicious, and I found myself finishing it in no time.

I stopped by on my way back from shopping. The prices were reasonable and the white rice was cooked just right, which paired well with the chicken cutlet. I was torn between getting the fried chicken, but I think I'll try that next time. Thank you for the meal today as well ☺️
