I really wish HARBS' milk crepe could be available nationwide... When I'm feeling down, eating a whole one by myself makes me happy. But you have to order a drink when you go into the store, so it's not very cost-effective, that's why I usually get takeout (lol). You can drink several cups of tea and relax, so it's nice to go occasionally, but this time there were chairs and tables near the store so I ate there~!

I stopped by Umekita to kill time and had the classic milk crepe and iced coffee. The fresh fruits, cream, and crepe were delicious. By the way, there were long lines at Hankyu Sanbangai and Daimaru. I barely got the last seat at the Diamor store. I have decided to eat it occasionally, and the milk crepe at Herbs is delicious.

This place is always full, but I managed to find a seat before tea time. I was planning on having the milk crepe since it had been a while, but they had an apple mango cake available! It was still being prepared, so I decided to wait. Luckily, they informed me when it was ready. They also offered free refills for coffee, and you could even change the type among four options. It was a thoughtful gesture. The cakes are large, so one serving might not be enough. The much-awaited apple mango cake was delicious, and I look forward to trying their seasonal cakes again.

There is a new Herb's at Daimaru, where I used to have lunch often in the past. I decided to get takeout. It was around 8:30 PM on a weekday, so there wasn't much left. The Chocolate Cake for 830 yen and the Chestnut Cake for 830 yen were available. The Chocolate Cake is made with chocolate cream and walnuts, with a brandy aroma. The Chestnut Cake has a rum scent and goes well with chestnut paste. Both have a stronger alcohol taste than expected, so be cautious if you don't like that. They are recommended for when you're tired and want to indulge in some cake.

I went to HARBS at Daimaru Umeda store, but by 7:30 pm, all the cakes in the showcase were sold out. So, in my craving for cake, I came to Diamor. There were only 3 types of cakes left. I chose the strawberry cake and the chocolate cake, but the strawberry cake had a very light flavor that didn't suit my taste, while the chocolate cake was much better. It was delicious with a mild sweetness, like cakes from Tops. I had an iced Ceylon tea with lemon, which I don't usually drink, but I found it surprisingly delicious. It made me think about changing my usual Darjeeling tea to Ceylon. When I ordered a hot coffee, I was also happy to receive a free refill.

I always used to get takeout, but this time I ate in with a woman. I wouldn't go in alone as a middle-aged man, haha. I've never seen a place with just men inside. We had a strawberry cake and the seasonal cherry blossom tea (for her). Since they didn't have the milk crepe this month, I had the strawberry cheesecake with Manhattan blend. The cheesecake was a bit light, with a balance of moist and fluffy textures. It was a luxurious time.

I'm Kana, a tiramisu enthusiast (*^^*) When I passed by HERBS and saw a single slice of tiramisu in the showcase, I couldn't resist and had to take it home! The slice was large, with a dense tiramisu layer and less sponge cake, making it look delicious! It tasted more like a cheesecake with a hint of alcohol, sweet and fluffy like a souffle cheesecake. Chestnut Cake A rich chestnut paste and plenty of chestnuts are used, with a hint of rum. Manhattan Blend - Deep Roast - Coffee Beans This deep roast blend brings out the original nutty flavor of the coffee beans, with a rich taste and depth of flavor.

White Peach Rare Cheesecake (tax included 850 yen) - A rare cheesecake with a soft, mousse-like texture. It has a sponge cake base. The cheese flavor is not too rich, making it easy to eat. The canned white peaches are sweet and delicious. Overall, it is a well-balanced cake! It's on the smaller side for HARBS, I thought!

Because it's expensive, I can't eat it frequently. The fruit I had today was a mix of green and orange melon, banana, and a little bit of kiwi. I like it when it has strawberries, but the generous amount of melon, the prominent banana, and the accent of kiwi, all mixed with custard cream and whipped cream, made each bite delicious and truly a blissful moment. At Deiamoru Umeda, I met an acquaintance for the first time in over 10 years. I don't like the idea of going to a "random cafe" in situations like this (well, I never do). It was 7:00 PM and I didn't have time to wander around looking for a place. Then I saw "HARBS" and instantly felt relieved. The seating was spacious and the menu was reliable. I ended up choosing the milk crepe, which is probably the most popular item. The fruitiness of the crepe at this place is special. Even with many other cake shops offering milk crepes, you won't find one with as much fruitiness as this one. Especially when I eat the melon, I always think, "This melon is delicious." The crepe has layers of strawberry, banana, white melon, red melon, kiwi, and plenty of whipped cream. Despite it being night, it's big. I used to be surprised by the size, but now I enjoy it every time I eat it. If you love sweets or crepes, I think you should try HARBS' milk crepe at least once in your life. It's about 10 times better than the trendy maritozzo. The customer service at this Deiamoru store was also excellent. Even though it was past 7:00 PM when I entered, they were polite and provided detailed explanations. This is the kind of store that thrives even with chain expansion.

Melon Cake (tax included 900 yen) - A three-layer cake with plenty of fresh cream and melon in between. The cream is not too sweet and the melon is plentiful. Despite the generous portion, it doesn't get boring and is delicious. Chestnut Tart (tax included 780 yen) - A chestnut paste with a hint of rum and chocolate chip cream filling. The tart crust is more fluffy than crispy, unlike Kilfebon's which I prefer.

I visited HARBS for tea time and ordered the following: Strawberry Chocolate Cake for 930 yen, Organic Coffee for 630 yen. The cake had a sponge with alcohol in it, making it a sophisticated dessert.

I love milk crepes. It's been a while since I had one because they are expensive and high in calories. This time, I had one with strawberries, bananas, melon, plenty of custard cream, and a moderate amount of whipped cream. It was a blissful moment. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Nowadays, Herb's, a cake shop with a sit-in area in Nagoya, is like an endangered species. It holds many memories of my youth spent in Nagoya. My girlfriend, who was pure gold, used to meet me at the store in Sakae often because it was easy to park there. (This may only be understood by people in the Tokai region). According to WWF, there are 8 endangered species, while Japan's Ministry of the Environment classifies 3. A cake shop with a sit-in area like Herb's would probably be classified as near-threatened II. It's quite rare as the ones in Minami have almost disappeared, making it a valuable find in a department store in the Kit area. It must be a tough business since it's not trendy. When it comes to Herb's, their milk crepe is a must-try. I only ordered something else about once every 5 visits. Today, I had the milk crepe again. It's known for its layers of fresh or fruit slices that are hard to cut and eat neatly. It's a cake you shouldn't eat on a first date because it's hard to eat cleanly, but once you're over 50, you'll be able to eat it without making a mess. Herb's milk crepe is truly delicious! This time, I noticed the tea set - the curve on the outer edge of the saucer doesn't match the cup, making it difficult to hold. The design and usability should always go hand in hand, and in this case, they don't match. It's a flaw.

It's a shop that sells big cakes! I went around 3 pm, so the popular cakes were selling out quickly. I ended up getting the 4th cake I wanted to try, and it was delicious! I don't usually like sweet things, so I don't go often, but the all-you-can-drink coffee was appealing! At the checkout, when I said "separate bills..." they coldly replied, "We don't do separate bills, please pay together." It kind of soured the experience at the end. Even if the food is good, hiring unfriendly staff can lower the value of the restaurant.

Located between JR Osaka Station and Kitashinchi Station, I wandered around looking for dessert after dinner. I ended up at this place with a big cake filled with lots of fresh fruits. I had tried a melon cake at another shop before, so this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the Fresh Fruit Cake for ¥1,050 and a Seattle Blend for ¥630. The Fresh Fruit Cake was huge, with plenty of oranges, strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, melons, and more, all topped with a light cream. Despite its size, I devoured it in no time. The Seattle Blend, served in a large cup, had a delightful and fruity aroma with a perfectly roasted blend.

It's definitely strawberries! I couldn't decide between tart or shortcake, so I went with this one with plenty of liqueur. I've tried various items here before, but anything with strawberries always stands out. At least for me. It was delightful with plenty of strawberries and whipped cream, and a hint of liqueur. No shortcuts taken in selecting the strawberries! Haha, I also like the chestnut glace cake. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located in Diamaru. Visited on a weekday night. Large cakes are displayed in the showcase. No photos allowed of the showcase. Taking photos of the cake ordered at the table is OK. Banana Crepe Pie 730 yen: Custard cream with large banana slices inside. The base is pie crust. Darjeeling Tea 750 yen: Described as "Darjeeling with a beautiful golden color, a hint of astringency, and a fruity aroma." Served in a pot with refills offered. Decaf Coffee 630 yen: Described as "Coffee with caffeine removed using the Swiss Water process, maintaining flavor and richness." Not heavy. Asked if we wanted a refill. Closes at 22:00. Had a relaxing time.

I visited for a snack at 3 o'clock! The cake at Herb's was delicious and satisfying (*^^*) It was my first time visiting in Osaka! I wanted to try a cake, but they were sold out, so I asked for the strawberry cake. It was packed with strawberries, and when I removed the foil, it couldn't maintain its shape (T_T) But it was still delicious! If I could, I would have liked to try another cake too! The tea was served in a pot, and the atmosphere was very soothing. It had been a while since I last had it, but I was happy with the amount of fruit, volume, and deliciousness. Thank you for the meal!
