I ate udon and walked towards Kyuhouji Station for over 30 minutes. There were many dead-end alleys and complicated roads around here, so it was harder to navigate than I thought. I couldn't find a bus stop anywhere. I was sweating a lot because of the heat, so I decided to take a break and went into Sha Noir. I had mango juice at a different Sha Noir the other day, but this time I had a refreshing ginger ale. After walking a lot and sweating, the ginger ale helped me catch my breath. Inside the restaurant, there were four tables for four people each, and outside on the terrace, there were four more tables for four people. There was one male staff member and two female staff members handling the cash register and serving, but I couldn't see the kitchen where they bake the cakes.

I found this place, Shanoir, near Kyuhouji Station when I was looking for a cafe to take a break. It's located next to Sports Zebio, a short walk from the station. I thought it was a cafe, but it's actually a cake shop where you can eat in. I decided to try their signature cake, Shanoir's Setsubun version for 454 yen, with a coffee cake set (additional 250 yen). It may not show well in the photo, but the Setsubun version has a cat with demon horns. The cake itself is a rich chocolate cake with a crispy outer layer and a moist inside. In the middle, there's a slightly chewy part that's like a chocolate bar. I usually prefer sweet bean paste, but chocolate is good too.

For Valentine's Day, we had cake as a return gift with our family♪ It's nice to have something sweet once in a while♪ The shop was really good at using chocolate in their cakes＼(^-^)／ Our daughter who loves strawberries was also very happy(^o^) Next time, it'll be a birthday cake⭐️ We'll definitely come back again^_^

Why "mist" though...? The creamy structure, generously filled, is filled with mystery. The sweetness is mild, making it appealing to everyone like a cake shop in a residential area! The bottom is a biscuit dough with pieces of candied chestnuts, giving it a feeling more like a "snack" than a "sweet". It's a typical dish from this shop for the common people. The new baked goods have a flaky pastry with crunchy chocolate inside. I tried the white version! It's easy to eat and delicious! It lasts long, so it's great for souvenirs too! It was reliably good.
