Yakitori is big and delicious♪ A reasonably priced and user-friendly yakitori restaurant! "Yakitori Dannna," which opened in Namba in 2015! It's about a 5-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station. The store is quietly located in an alley. Large lanterns are the sign. There are kotatsu seats outside, which is interesting♪ It's cold, but you can eat while staying warm and cozy! The seating includes two small 2-person table seats, one 4-5 person table seat in the back, and a 7-seat counter. The atmosphere inside the store is cozy and lively♪ People of various ages were enjoying themselves! The staff are all friendly and will engage in conversation with you♪ The drinks include highballs, shochu, and a wide variety of sake! A sake tasting set of 3 kinds is 800 yen! It's nice to be able to choose your favorite sake. Yakitori ranges from 100 yen per skewer, with rare cuts and unique skewers like bitter melon champuru available. In addition to yakitori, there are also fried foods, salads, and rice dishes to choose from! First, we ordered the recommended dish "Chicken Sashimi 3 Variety Platter." - Chicken Sashimi 3 Variety Platter (1200 yen) - Includes white liver, gizzard, and thigh! White liver must be fresh! I quickly took a photo and started eating. It was so delicious! The liver melts in your mouth♪ The gizzard and thigh were also delicious! The sake was flowing nicely♪ Then came the yakitori rush!! - Kokoro (100 yen per skewer) - Kokoro! Each skewer is big! Juicy and satisfying to eat♪ - Chicken Breast (150 yen per skewer) - The chicken breast was sprinkled with sansho pepper, making it refreshing to eat♪ The grilling was perfect! - Chicken Thigh (150 yen per skewer) - The chicken thigh was delicious♪ When you take a bite, the fat oozes out! - Chicken Tail (180 yen per skewer) - Next was the chicken tail! When you take a bite, the egg yolk bursts, and the yolk oozes out, it was delicious♪ - Shinsei Sake (500 yen) - The sake is all 500 yen each! This one, Shinsei, is apparently a rare type of sake. I don't know much about it, but it was very fruity and flavorful♪ - Ranou Tamago Tsukune (260 yen) - Then, the recommended dish from the store, Tamago Tsukune! Dip the meatball generously in the egg yolk♪ The sweet and savory sauce paired perfectly with the mild egg yolk! After eating, the staff brought a bite-sized portion of rice. I was puzzled but was told to pour the egg yolk sauce over the rice and eat it! Brilliant! It solves the problem of "I don't want to waste the sauce on the plate, but licking it directly is not ideal." There was also a little bit of green onion on top, which was a nice touch! I hope this rice system becomes popular at all restaurants haha - Eringi (200 yen per skewer) - Since we had only eaten chicken skewers, we switched to vegetable skewers! The eringi had a crunchy texture and was delicious♪ It paired well with the rich sauce. - Bitter Melon Champuru Skewer (220 yen per skewer) - I had been curious about the bitter melon champuru skewer for a while! The bitter melon was crunchy, and the pork was thick and juicy, it was delicious♪ - Mozzarella Cheese (200 yen per skewer) - The cheese was so melty! It solidifies quickly, so eat it quickly, they said. The olive oil and black pepper added a nice flavor to the cheese skewer! It was an Italian-style grilled skewer♪ We then ordered the winter limited fugu fin sake! - Fugu Fin Sake (450 yen) - The aroma was amazing!! Drinking it little by little while eating yakitori was the best feeling♪ It warms your heart and body! For the finale, we ordered the store owner's homemade pasta, which changes daily! - Mitchy's Choice Pasta (1000 yen) - This day's pasta was "Chicken and Sudachi Oil Pasta"! In addition to chicken, it also had mushrooms. We had eaten quite a bit by this point, but the refreshing flavor made it easy to finish♪ The yakitori was carefully grilled and all delicious, the staff were friendly and energetic! It's a place where you can have a lively time with everyone, and it seems like a great place for solo drinking at the counter too.
